Astro­log­i­cal Mus­ings – The USA, Astrol­o­gy and Cur­rent Events (Sat­ur­day April 7, 2018)

In my fourth show of 2018 we will look more close­ly into the main Astro­log­i­cal indi­ca­tors for cur­rent con­di­tions in the chart for the USA. In my 2018 Fore­cast, which you can read here, USA 2018, I not­ed that the USA was going through a cycle that has res­o­nances with three pre­vi­ous peri­ods like this in the 20^th Cen­tu­ry: 1988–91, 1959–62 and 1929–32. In each of these moments, the plan­et Sat­urn was first in oppo­si­tion to the USA Venus and Jupiter, and then in the fol­low­ing year, Sat­urn con­tin­ued through Capri­corn to align with both the USA Sun and Sat­urn. For each of these pri­or peri­ods, this pas­sage of Sat­urn was marked by eco­nom­ic chal­lenges and rever­sals in polit­i­cal pow­er. Why is this so, and what might this mean for our time?

First, I will look at the mean­ings of Venus and Jupiter in the chart of the USA and then con­sid­er what this present-day pas­sage of Sat­urn means for the USA and our cur­rent eco­nom­ic and polit­i­cal expe­ri­ence in light of these his­tor­i­cal precedents.
