Out of many, One

There is but One Spirit.
There is but One Life.
There is only One, formed into the many ones.

Your “Illu­sion of Exis­tence” is formed by your ser­i­al pro­gres­sion through Worlds, Forms, and Lives that in each instance appear as sep­a­rate and dis­tinct from all that sur­rounds you. But you must under­stand that these par­ti­cles of mat­ter, these won­drous bod­ies that you require upon any mor­tal plane, are not what you are made of. They are mere­ly what you have formed for your­self out of the one Sub­stance, Spir­it-Mat­ter, which is the One Eter­nal Essence behind all these less­er forms.

Remem­ber, you, and all of Cre­ation, that you are Spir­it and as all in this Cre­ation from the most infin­i­tes­i­mal on up to the Plan­e­tary Sys­tems and Galax­ies and beyond, all of these Ener­gy-Forms are the Liv­ing real­iza­tion forged by the One, the Immor­tal spark of the Divine. The entire Uni­verse, and you, are a pre­cious part of the One Divine Life, and the illu­sion of exis­tence is that you are sep­a­rate from all of this, and that you must find some means of being made con­nect­ed and whole with­in your­self and your world.

But this is your illu­sion, because you are always and for­ev­er whole with­in your­self as you are equal­ly part of these greater fields and ener­gies that sur­round you too. You are “whole”, you are a whole whose very exis­tence is formed by ever more encom­pass­ing fields of Ener­gy-Forms or Wholes that ulti­mate­ly are expe­ri­enced as the One, or God or Spirit.

You began your pere­gri­na­tions in this Cos­mic Cycle as an unself-con­scious spark of the Divine, a pre­cious Mon­ad of Spir­it who went spi­ral­ing out into the Cos­mos to help form and become that very Cos­mos, the liv­ing body of the One.

But, you must also remem­ber this…you were not nor would you ever, (or could you ever) be alone. You went forth with count­less “broth­ers and sis­ters”, a host of many hosts, count­less sparks of the Divine, went forth to make this Uni­verse. You and your com­pan­ions, at this stage of your self-becom­ing, have jour­neyed forth to become a ful­ly formed human, to become ful­ly awak­ened humans by the end of this cos­mic cycle.

Today you enter that most spe­cial space of Zodi­a­cal Ener­gy-Form, that sacred space that is at the core of your expe­ri­ence of being whole and equal­ly being made by and being part of all these greater wholes too. Today you enter time of the Year that we cel­e­brate the Space of Libra.

For no mat­ter what your Sun Sign, there is some spe­cial part of you that is held in and formed by this Ener­gy-Form of Libra. How could you not? For Libra is the Sign of Rela­tion­ship, and you are most cer­tain­ly “you”, a sparkling dew­drop of the One Liv­ing Spir­it because of all these “rela­tions” that are with­in and around you. You are indeed you pre­cise­ly because you have been made by all the rela­tion­ships of your past, present, and those in your future too.

Yes, you are most cer­tain­ly made of and by one anoth­er. In life after life, you are forged and formed by all with whom you have direct and indi­rect rela­tion­ships. You are formed by your par­ents, grand­par­ents, uncles and aunts, sib­lings and friends, class­mates and col­leagues, by all your loves in this and in count­less for­mer lives; yes, you are a host formed by many hosts who in so many small and greater ways help to bring forth and elic­it the very spe­cial spark of the divine that is your “Quin­tes­sence”, the ever­last­ing pres­ence of you.

Yes, you move into what I call “Third Space” in the realm that is Libra. You are a whole unto your­self, you are a field of ener­gy-forms, you are in fact your own lit­tle Cos­mos, your own “space”. You encounter anoth­er, who is just like you, and they are a lit­tle Cos­mos too. And now, the most pre­cious and del­i­cate and won­drous thing must hap­pen, you togeth­er must form a space-field for your encounter, togeth­er you must cre­ate that Third Space that is your relationship.

You are each a whole, form­ing one anoth­er into a larg­er whole, a greater Cos­mos where­in you will inform, and shape and elic­it for one anoth­er the very “dance of spir­it” that is the Song of Life, Love and Will. It is this Song of Spir­it, this Cho­rus of Life that fills and forms all the spaces of Space. To meet the oth­er and form this space of rela­tion­ship requires you to reach deep with­in your­self and equal­ly with­in them too. It is forged and found­ed by the essen­tial truth of Spir­it, a re-affir­ma­tion of what always was and will for­ev­er be, “we are all related”.

Here in the “sacred space of we” you meet “the oth­er”, who is just like you. You look into the eyes of the one who is before you and you see it there, shin­ing upon you from the win­dow of their soul, and there in that light is “proof of eter­ni­ty”, and you are hum­bled and joy-filled by that feel­ing, “I know this, I know who you are”.

We do not encounter strangers on Earth, for we have been doing this for a very, very long time. We have loved and lost, fought and made peace, strug­gled for and against, time and time again. We are all mixed up in one anoth­er, so that we can claim no own­er­ship to any feel­ing, idea or truth. We are made of all these rela­tion­ships, so that our true expe­ri­ence of con­scious­ness is real­ly from the We and not our lim­it­ed I. We will meet again and again, so we say not good­bye but fare thee well until our next time…

We are who we are because of what we have been and done for and with one anoth­er. We will always be for one anoth­er the means of self-becom­ing, the instru­ment of awak­en­ing, of becom­ing ful­ly human. We are here to be one for all, and All for One.

Always and for­ev­er, be kind to one anoth­er, and remem­ber this:

You are here because of one another.

You are here because of Love.

You are here to Love and be Loved.

Just remem­ber, remem­ber who you are and

Love one another.

The Way of Sacrifice

The inte­gral unfold­ment of the Uni­ver­sal Ener­gies, what you know as the Signs of the Zodi­ac, form a com­plex Melody of Life, the Song of Spir­it that is the Love-filled Heart­beat of Spir­i­tu­al Awak­en­ing for you and your world. The ser­i­al order­ing of the One Ener­gy, Love, is divid­ed into these Twelve Man­sions of Life. The One Spir­it is mod­u­lat­ed through Four Modes of Being, Fire, Earth, Air and Water; and each of these is appor­tioned into three Modal­i­ties of Activ­i­ty, Car­di­nal, Fixed and Muta­ble. These Four formed by Three, this Three­fold Beat of the Four Fun­da­men­tal Ener­gy-Forms, togeth­er res­onate as the Heart of your Uni­verse, each Ele­ment brought into focus through the three phas­es of Spirit:

Cre­ation — Preser­va­tion — Transformation

For the Three, first come the Ini­tia­tors, the Car­di­nal Signs, (Aries, Can­cer, Libra and Capri­corn); then fol­low the Hold­ers, the Fixed Signs, (Tau­rus, Leo, Scor­pio and Aquar­ius); and final­ly, you move through the Signs of Tran­si­tion or Muta­bil­i­ty, (Gem­i­ni, Vir­go, Sagit­tar­ius and Pisces).

Of course, you must know and under­stand, at every moment in the ever-unfold­ing Life of the One Spir­it, in every moment of the Eter­nal or “The Now”, that all these Twelve Ener­gy-Forms are active in every speck and mote of cre­ation rang­ing on up through all the orders of beings and life-forms that fill the star­ry firmament.

But today, here on our Earth, let us acknowl­edge and cel­e­brate a change in our spe­cial cor­ner of Space. Today you move into the Sacred Realm that is Vir­go, and you have arrived at anoth­er lumi­nous moment of your awak­en­ing. Vir­go is here to help bring you to a more Inte­gral bal­ance with­in your Sacred Tem­ple of Body and Heart, of Mind and Spirit.

For you are here for one thing only, you are here to learn how to become a bet­ter human being. You are here quite sim­ply to Grow. And to do this, since you “as Human” have become self-aware, you must ever strive to con­scious­ly stay upon the path of Right­eous­ness, to keep to the Noble Road of Sac­ri­fice formed by Inte­gra­tion, Adjust­ment and Healing.

You have come once more through the realm of Fire that is Leo, whose space is there to pro­vide the expe­ri­ences by which you reveal and shine as “you”. In Can­cer you met the Self at the Cen­ter, and you anchored your­self in the Waters of your Roots. You drew upon this inspi­ra­tion to bring forth in Leo some greater part of that truth of you; in Leo you strove to shine and release your Self through var­i­ous vehi­cles of self-real­iza­tion, to find a more per­fect role, to act upon a truer stage in the grand the­ater that is Life.

But after every performance…there comes “the review”. Yes, you did reach beyond what you were before in the lat­est “per­for­mance”. But you will always feel, (you must know this by now), that you could have done bet­ter, that you could have been a bet­ter you.

By Vir­go, (and we all have Vir­go some­where in our own chart), you are offered the gift of Dis­cern­ment and Dis­crim­i­na­tion. This Crit­i­cal Fac­ul­ty is pre­cise­ly what you need to sep­a­rate the wheat from the chaff of your life. You must begin to take in your har­vest now, and so pre­pare your­self for the chal­lenges that lie before you, and the longer nights that lie ahead.

You can only grow by tri­al and error, through striv­ing to do bet­ter and by learn­ing from your mis­takes. Fail­ure and Growth are insep­a­ra­ble; you are here to learn what not to do and how you might become bet­ter. By self-cor­rec­tion and adjust­ment, through humil­i­ty and ser­vice, you will slow­ly but sure­ly lift your­self and one anoth­er a lit­tle clos­er to the ful­fill­ment of your des­tiny. You will move away from being unable, to becom­ing ever more capa­ble and ulti­mate­ly you will be known as an adept; you move from the ordi­nary to the extra­or­di­nary, from being reac­tive to being mas­ter­ful and pur­pose­ful. This is your path­way to per­fec­tion; and this is the Gift of Virgo.

You are an appren­tice work­ing on your great­est masterpiece…you. You will need teach­ers and mas­ters to show you “the way”. The most sacred of these is your own high­er self, who elic­its the ele­va­tion of your under­stand­ing through your intu­ition­al fac­ul­ty. Lis­ten to this lov­ing, kind and gen­tle voice and you will remain on the path. But also know that each and every encounter you have in your dai­ly life, whether with fam­i­ly or with friends, with col­leagues and most impor­tant­ly with those you think of as a stranger, all of these will also serve you (as you will equal­ly serve them). For it is by these exchanges with one anoth­er that you are helped to pol­ish away the mis­un­der­stand­ings that lead you into error. We are here to be a light to one anoth­er, and by reveal­ing what is right and what is wrong we can help one anoth­er to move towards a greater wholeness.

As you may out­ward­ly or for­mal­ly at some point be brought to study with a mas­ter, you may then nec­es­sar­i­ly find that you will be called upon to extend your­self to those who look to you. Yes, you the appren­tice will become a Mas­ter too. Offer them what you can, but most impor­tant­ly offer your­self with love, give what you will with kind­li­ness, guid­ance and encour­age­ment. This is also “the way”; it is the Rib­bon of Life and Love, the Hier­ar­chy of Com­pas­sion that stretch­es through all the King­doms of Life-Consciousness-Spirit.

We are here to become what we have with­in us, the Love of the One which is our true Heart and our abid­ing strength. We are here to become com­plete human beings like the “great souls” who have walked this same path that you fol­low today: Con­fu­cius, Krish­na, Zoroast­er, Pythago­ras, Bud­dha, Christ, and so many more who labored in the shad­ows and who serve with­out recog­ni­tion nor seek it. Their sto­ry is repeat­ed now so that we may remem­ber and learn. Their exam­ple and teach­ings are there to remind you that there is a pur­pose to your life, and it is to become awakened.

You are here to learn to be a bet­ter human. You are here to live, love and fol­low the Noble Mid­dle Path, “The Way of Ser­vice and Sac­ri­fice”. This path flows from your inner­most sanc­tum to the Heart of the Uni­verse, and beyond. It is quite sim­ply your true nature, it is Love.

Yes, it is in Vir­go that you let go and you grow. To be in the realm of Vir­go, to be Vir­ginal, means to make your­self whole, not per­fect. You must con­tin­u­al­ly, every day and life after life, give up the less­er and dis­cov­er and so become the greater with­in and between you. This is done by Sac­ri­fice. True Sac­ri­fice means you make your life and your actions Sacred, it means you give up the less­er as you align your­self with the greater with­in and around you. You are at peace, you are one, and you are one with one and All.

What you are made of is Love and what sur­rounds you is Beau­ty. To be who you are, to become what you are here to be is your des­tiny. So, fol­low the sacred prayer, fol­low the path of whole­ness and love, and repeat the sacred injunc­tion of the Red Road of Truth:

As I walk, as I walk

The Uni­verse is walk­ing with me

In beau­ty it walks before me

In beau­ty it walks behind me

In beau­ty it walks below me

In beau­ty it walks above me

Beau­ty is on every side

As I walk, I walk with Beauty.

Astro­log­i­cal Mus­ings – Mer­cury Turns Ret­ro­grade, Sun Enters Vir­go (Sat­ur­day August 18, 2018)

In my ninth show of 2018 I will con­sid­er the cur­rent Astro­log­i­cal indi­ca­tions. Today, Sat­ur­day August 18^th, Mer­cury is turn­ing direct once again. Next week the Sun Enters Vir­go on August 22^nd/23^rd and then five days lat­er, on August 27^th, Mars turns Direct. The Winds of Spir­it are chang­ing once more, and we will con­sid­er what these shifts mean for you and your world.

The expe­ri­ence you will have with Mer­cury ret­ro­grade depends upon your lev­el of spir­i­tu­al aware­ness. To the extent that you know your­self and equal­ly under­stand your world, well to that same extent you will expe­ri­ence a greater mea­sure of free will. You will choose how to meet each day, guid­ed by an open mind, a lov­ing heart and a cen­tered will.

If you are more awake and aware, your per­cep­tion and sen­si­tiv­i­ty to the shift­ing ener­gies formed by the plan­e­tary influ­ences will be held and under­stood as being nei­ther harm­ful or benef­ic for you or any­one else…these uni­ver­sal ener­gies “just are”. It is up to each of us, by rais­ing up our self-aware­ness to deter­mine whether we will live our lives as free or sub­servient to these Winds of the Spirit.

Many will com­plain over the next many weeks, that Mer­cury ret­ro­grade has brought them into a series of annoy­ances, dif­fi­cul­ties or even greater harm. But the fault lies not in Mer­cury at all, but in our own fail­ure to under­stand and make use of this change in the “Astro­log­i­cal Weather”.

When Mer­cury is ret­ro­grade we are offered an oppor­tu­ni­ty to shift our nor­mal men­tal dis­po­si­tions and con­sid­er­a­tions into a more reflec­tive, pen­sive and intro­spec­tive mode. We, like Mer­cury, need to turn back upon our­selves and re-exam­ine our minds, to be ever more self-reflec­tive and take this time to recon­sid­er our thoughts, to ques­tion our means and mech­a­nisms of per­cep­tion, and to revise and improve our avenues and tools of com­mu­ni­ca­tion too.

If we do this, we will use this ener­gy shift as it is meant to be expe­ri­enced, for self-exam­i­na­tion, repair and renewal.

Of course, we all live very busy lives, and though it would be nice to take a 3‑week break, to go on a retreat or to par­take in some form of a vision quest, our oblig­a­tions to fam­i­ly, com­mu­ni­ty and the larg­er world will usu­al­ly not allow us to do so.

But we can take time, every day, maybe as the day begins, and cer­tain­ly at the end of each day, (and per­haps we will find some time dur­ing the day too), to pause, turn around and con­sid­er why we are think­ing about some­thing in a cer­tain way, why we are writ­ing or speak­ing with that tone or atti­tude. And, maybe we will under­stand that we can and should try to refine, renew and rebuild our self-under­stand­ing. And when we have done this, we can turn out­wards and renew our sacred spaces with one anoth­er by forg­ing a bet­ter under­stand­ing of one anoth­er too.

For this ret­ro­grade, Mer­cury is mov­ing through the sign of Leo. It is focus­ing this oppor­tu­ni­ty to reset and renew upon our heart, upon how we might bet­ter under­stand and live with greater love, hon­or and respect for one anoth­er. Plant the seeds of bet­ter tomor­rows by treat­ing those before you as you wish to be treat­ed too.

The weath­er is chang­ing, and you would be wise to make use of this gift of the Spirit.

Be wise like the ser­pent, and gen­tle as a dove.

The path to wis­dom is forged in humil­i­ty and grace.

Bow down to Her­mes, the mes­sen­ger who brings gifts from above.

Open your heart, and you will be wise.

You have spent the last 30 days in the sign of Can­cer, find­ing your way to the cen­ter of you. You aligned your self with your roots, to your fam­i­ly, to your loves, to your cul­ture and friends too. You felt your way back, to those many touch­stones that evoke the deep­est truths in the very heart of you, to those stir­rings, those feel­ings of ori­gins and hints of des­tiny. You made you way to your cen­ter and you remem­bered once more the gold­en chord that anchors you to your past and points the way to your future too.

But now you enter the time of Leo, for hav­ing met your self at the cen­ter you have no oth­er choice…you must be You!

Yes, in Leo you stretch beyond what has been. You are “the Cre­ator”’; and your great­est cre­ation, through all your many worlds and lives is you.

Your jour­ney has tak­en you from your begin­nings, as a mere spark of the divine, as an un-self-con­scious, self-unfold­ing enti­ty cycling through count­less worlds, forms and lives. Ahead of you awaits your des­tiny as a com­plete human, to the final ini­ti­a­tion, your Apoth­e­o­sis as a ful­ly awak­ened divinity.

As you become more aware of who and what you are, as you real­ize and reveal the dis­tinc­tive­ness of you, what is your Quin­tes­sence (or what is known as your Swab­hā­va, the germ or essence of you), as you do this you move into ever more truer forms of being, cre­at­ing, lead­ing and lov­ing. You become what you are, you are “THAT”, and by this you bring out the best in you and in those who are with you, and they become inspired by your exam­ple to be their bet­ter selves too. You become ever truer to your­self and you shine; you are the self who becomes, the Self-illu­mined with the light of Truth and Love.

When you do this, when you Lead with right inten­tion, when you become one more exam­ple, one more proof and inspi­ra­tion for oth­ers to be their bet­ter selves, it is by your being true to your­self and aligned with your high­er self that you inspire oth­ers to live and love with that same noble bear­ing too.

We do not need, nor do we look for lead­ers who tell us what to do; we look to those who inspire in us the shin­ing proof that we can, and we will, over­come our present lim­i­ta­tions and be the cre­ators of a brighter future for us and for our chil­dren too.

Leo is about what abides in the heart of one and all. It is about the light that shines in the dark­ness, the eter­nal flame of spir­it that will not fail.

Leo is about what is in your heart; It is about Uncon­di­tion­al love.

That love, which is Spir­it-Mat­ter, is the source, pre­serv­er and promise behind the whole of Creation.

We are one; you are one.

We are here to be who we are.

We are here to love ourselves,

And we are here to Love one anoth­er too.

This is Truth; this is the Heart Doctrine.

And, this is the Light of the Uni­verse that will not fail.
