Today begins one of the three Mer­cury ret­ro­grades for 2019, (the oth­er two being from July 7^th to July 31^st, and from Octo­ber 31^st to Novem­ber 20^th). The oppor­tu­ni­ty pre­sent­ed by Mer­cury ret­ro­grade is often­times lost in the seem­ing stum­bles, errors and break­downs in “com­mu­ni­ca­tions” that seem to accom­pa­ny its ret­ro­grade peri­ods. For many peo­ple, Mer­cury in ret­ro­grade is often expe­ri­enced as just a more annoy­ing and frus­trat­ing peri­od in a world that is already filled with enough anx­i­ety, doubts and fear.

But you must remem­ber, that the rea­son you are here, the pur­pose of your life, is to become an ever more self-aware and con­scious co-cre­ator in the sto­ry of Spir­it, this sto­ry that is Cre­ation. To that end, Mer­cury ret­ro­grade should be approached with grat­i­tude, grace and humil­i­ty. It is a spe­cial time, one that is meant to take you “out of the ordi­nary”, away from the every­day jum­ble of mul­ti­ple inputs and out­puts, to move you apart from the nev­er-end­ing dai­ly chal­lenges of your life.

It is a “time to pause”, and to con­sid­er your life and world from a more objec­tive and self-aware per­spec­tive. And, just like Mer­cury, you should use this time to turn around, to slow down, and re-con­sid­er how well your under­stand­ing of your­self and your world match­es with what you are encoun­ter­ing in the world around you.

The entire Mer­cury ret­ro­grade will take place in the sign of Pisces. You will find that the ques­tions you encounter now will bring your atten­tion to one of the ulti­mate ques­tions of your life:

“Do you live in Faith­ful­ness, or are you held by Fearfulness?”

It is in Pisces that you come to know the truth of your spir­i­tu­al nature, of being a Cre­ator whose Imag­i­na­tion and Dreams cre­ate your Des­tiny. Hence the promise (and warn­ing for you) is this fun­da­men­tal spir­i­tu­al truth:

The dreams you dream, will become the thoughts that you think; and, those thoughts will inform and form your actions; and it is by this that you con­tin­ue to make and remake you and your world.

Use the next three weeks to pon­der and con­sid­er what it is you wish for, to tru­ly know the dreams you have for your­self and for one anoth­er too. Then com­pare these to what you see in your­self and in your world. Now under­stand this, with con­sid­er­a­tion for what you are tru­ly respon­si­ble for, the dif­fer­ence between the Dream and your Real­i­ty will be formed by your doubts, anx­i­eties and fears.

The promised land your heart and soul yearn for is to be found by stand­ing in the Light of Love and Truth that form your High­er Self, your Spir­i­tu­al Con­scious­ness. It is by fac­ing and over­com­ing these fears of your less­er self, the shad­owy echoes of your past stum­bles and falls, it is by under­stand­ing and let­ting go of these shades that you will be able to make your dreams come true.

But here again the mes­sage of Pisces reminds you what you must do in order to tru­ly let go and grow. What is required of you for your­self, and what you must cer­tain­ly hold as you deal with one anoth­er, is to be guid­ed by com­pas­sion and for­give­ness. For how could you become bet­ter unless you give your­self per­mis­sion and so cre­ate a space to grow into the bet­ter you? And how could those around you do like­wise if you do not give them this gift of com­pas­sion, for­give­ness and grace as well?

This is the goal of your spir­i­tu­al jour­ney, this is how you grow:

To be Faith­ful and Fear­less, to Love and to Forgive.

Take some time with Mer­cury to clear your mind and heart of regrets and fear. For­give your­self and for­give one anoth­er for any painful thoughts, words and deeds.

Cre­ate a space for new Life and Love by approach­ing one anoth­er with Love and Compassion.

This is the gift of Mer­cury Ret­ro­grade in Pisces.

It is the gift of True Under­stand­ing and Love.

This is the Wis­dom of Love.

The Gift of Imag­i­na­tion, The Pow­er of Faith

Always remem­ber this: You have all the signs as part of you, from Aries to Pisces, from Fire through Water, in Air or by Earth, some­where there is a part of you that is illu­mined by each of these twelve. Each sign holds spe­cif­ic gifts and chal­lenges for you. But per­haps none is more poignant, pow­er­ful and inspir­ing as the last. Today you enter once again the realm that holds them all, today you return to Pisces.

Here you come to the end­ings of things; here you gath­er togeth­er the fruit of your labors in all those pre­vi­ous chap­ters of your jour­ney. And it is from this har­vest, from your tri­umphs and even more from your so-called fail­ures, it is here that you find and forge the lessons, mean­ings and seeds that you will plant in your nev­er-end­ing sto­ry of you.

Yes, it is here in Pisces, it is here you come to the end, and equal­ly you will find the promise of all your future endeav­ors too. Here you look back and you look ahead, because this is how it is done, you must see the whole of it, the whole of you, the mean­ing behind the mir­rors of real­i­ty and so make bet­ter the future for you and your world. Here you look up at the cos­mos and take in the won­der of it all. Here you ask the ques­tion of questions:

“Where did we come from; Why are we here; Where are we going?”

In the begin­ning, before Space-Time, there was the One.
Here, in the “Now”, we are the many, who are the body of the One in Space-Time.
At the “end”, of every Cos­mic Cycle, we many return to be “one with the One” again.

This is the of pulse of Spirit-Life-Consciousness.
This is what is known as the Days and Nights of Brahma.
For there was no begin­ning, and there can be no end.
There is only the path of Becom­ing and Awak­en­ing for all “ones of the One”.

This is the Jour­ney of Spir­it, this is your path,
Formed by ever expand­ing fields of Con­scious­ness and Creativity.
You move from unself-con­scious Sparks of the Divine, fields of Ener­gy-Forms truly,
To becom­ing a ful­ly Awak­ened Con­scious Co-Cre­ator of Creation.

It is said that our present form of life, this “human-phase” of our jour­ney, is most spe­cial. But why is that; what does it mean to be human? Through each step, from an infin­i­tes­i­mal being on up through all the King­doms of Spir­it-Forms, why is this human form con­sid­ered by crea­tures not yet human, and by beings above this human form, why is this expe­ri­ence of human so treasured?

We are told that it is spe­cial because here, pre­cise­ly in this form of self-aware con­scious­ness equal­ly stretch­ing itself inward­ly and out­ward­ly to the divine, that we become illu­mi­nat­ed, we wake up through our very divin­i­ty and become “the self-re-made” by our price­less gift of Imag­i­na­tion. This is the Gift of Pisces.

What makes us human, and what will bring us into our apoth­e­o­sis as ful­ly awak­ened humans, is that we are dream­ers. We encounter our world “as it is”, and then we dream of a bet­ter one for us and all those who come after. And then we try to “make it so.”

But we are imper­fect; so that spilling into our dreams of the divine comes the errors of our past, our doubts and our fears, our appre­hen­sions and mis­per­cep­tions, and these become part of our cre­ation too. That is why we have the world that we have, made in the image of our­selves, a world of light, love and of beau­ty, but also of dark­ness, fear and pain.

It is here in Pisces that you feel the pain and yet hold to the promise of your com­pound nature, that you are sub­lime yet mor­tal, filled with promise and uncon­di­tion­al love, but some­times weighed down by fear and regret. But out of these dark echoes of the past you make the very forge for your dia­mond heart of com­pas­sion and under­stand­ing too. Yes, it is here in Pisces you that reveal your divin­i­ty in your very humanity.

You learn to for­give your­self as you must equal­ly for­give one anoth­er; to cre­ate the sacred space for your own growth you must sac­ri­fice for one anoth­er too. You see in them your­self, their joy and their pain yours. You stretch your heart and soul and feel the whole of this, com­pas­sion not just for anoth­er human, but for all of life, for all of this won­drous Cre­ation that makes your life pos­si­ble too.

You see Cre­ation as it is, a Rib­bon of Souls who are all one with one anoth­er, a Rain­bow of Light and Love, and that all of Cre­ation is alive and held togeth­er. You know and feel that this is me and I am that. It is beyond words, and you bow your head and bend your knee.

Yes, you real­ize that though at times you will stum­ble and fall, that you will be touched by fear again, you feel in your heart and you know in your soul that you have noth­ing to fear.

You are one of the ones of the One.

Yes, it is the Gift of Pisces to Dream, and the Pow­er it bestows is equal to this. Because you have become self-aware, and because you are part of a host of count­less great souls who form the Con­scious­ness of Cre­ation, you real­ize that you and they are the Path of Light.

You are the Liv­ing embod­i­ment of the Pow­er of Faith; that Faith is the Love of the One.

There is but one way, there is only one path,

Just Love one another.

Don­ald Trump – The test of Power

It is most often true that the future of a nation and the for­tunes of its leader are inex­tri­ca­bly bound to one anoth­er. My pre­vi­ous post­ing not­ed that the most sig­nif­i­cant plan­e­tary tran­sit in the USA chart this year is the tran­sit of Plu­to over the USA Mer­cury. It may come as no sur­prise then that the most sig­nif­i­cant tran­sit in Don­ald Trump’s chart, for this year and for the next, is Plu­to as well.

In 2019 and 2020, Don­ald Trump will have Plu­to form­ing an Incon­junct aspect (150°) to his Sun. More­over, build­ing in dur­ing 2019 and becom­ing ful­ly man­i­fest­ed in 2020, Plu­to will be in oppo­si­tion to his Sat­urn. What do these two pas­sages indi­cate for Trump and the Nation?

Plu­to and The Tri­ad of Spirit

Plu­to is part of what I like to call the “Tri­ad of Spir­it”. Uranus is the Avatar or prin­ci­ple of the High­er Mind; Nep­tune the Avatar of Uncon­di­tion­al Love; Plu­to the Avatar of the Will. Togeth­er, at the crown of the spir­i­tu­al hier­ar­chy they rep­re­sent the Mind, Love and Will of God. For humans, we are striv­ing to learn to wield these pow­ers cor­rect­ly, as we slow­ly but sure­ly walk the path of awak­en­ing by devel­op­ing freer minds, tru­ly uncon­di­tion­al love and guid­ed by ever more cen­tered wills.

Plu­to rules will-pow­er, and through our will we strive to mas­ter our­selves; we learn that we must focus inward­ly, and to use our will for greater self-con­trol and self-mas­tery. The num­ber one error (or sin) on this Earth is when we use our will and pow­er to con­trol, sub­ju­gate, manip­u­late and vio­late anoth­er (or oth­ers). The great­est spir­i­tu­al crime is tres­pass­ing, where we vio­late the sacred space of another.

We are here to mas­ter our­selves, and by our exam­ple, as well as by offer­ing lov­ing help and guid­ance to oth­ers, we help one anoth­er towards greater self-mas­tery and self-con­trol. By being tru­ly cen­tered by the will, (and guid­ed by Wis­dom and Uncon­di­tion­al Love), we are more able to use what­ev­er per­son­al, social or col­lec­tive pow­ers we hold and to exer­cise them cor­rect­ly; and we will serve the source of that pow­er and direct it in the prop­er man­ner as deter­mined by our roles and respon­si­bil­i­ties. Ulti­mate­ly, any exer­cise of pow­er must be in accor­dance with Spir­i­tu­al truth:

We are here to learn to wield our will in a Transper­son­al man­ner; through our per­son­al will we serve the “source” of that pow­er so that it is nev­er used for self­ish pur­pos­es. The teach­ing will ever be, to remain guid­ed by one’s High­er Self and so by the One; we resolve to serve and so remain true to the path, “Let Thy Will be Done!”

With­in any hier­ar­chy, (Fam­i­ly, Com­mu­ni­ty, Cor­po­ra­tion, State or Nation), the leader, (or lead­ers), the hold­er of any form of exec­u­tive pow­er is invest­ed with the respon­si­bil­i­ty to be the prime exam­ple (the “Exem­plar” or Avatar) of this spir­i­tu­al truth: That the exer­cise of Will and Pow­er must be held and cen­tered, yoked to serve the pur­pose and intent of what­ev­er office that leader is there to serve. That is why in many cas­es, a per­son will take a “oath”, which binds their indi­vid­ual will to the gen­er­al good or pur­pose which they serve; that pow­er is not “theirs”, but it is mere­ly entrust­ed to them while they hold that office.

Don­ald Trump

In 2019 and 2020 Don­ald Trump will expe­ri­ence Plu­to pass­ing over his Sun and over his Sat­urn. What will this mean for him and for the USA? Quite sim­ply and pro­found­ly, Don­ald Trump is going to face a fun­da­men­tal “test of pow­er”. If he has wield­ed the pow­ers of the pres­i­den­cy cor­rect­ly, if he has aligned his will to the office of the pres­i­den­cy, then he may pass this test, though it will be a very chal­leng­ing time. If he has not suf­fi­cient­ly and cor­rect­ly sac­ri­ficed his will to the greater good of his office, if he has not under­stood the nature of his oath and aligned him­self to the true source of the pow­er which he serves, then he will fail and fall one way or another.

The Plu­to align­ment to Trump’s Sun in 2019 and 2020 indi­cates that his exer­cise and expe­ri­ence of pow­er is shift­ing in ways that will bring about a grow­ing sense of unease and con­fu­sion for him. He may ascribe it to forces or per­son­ages out­side of him­self, but it will real­ly be the grow­ing schism between his low­er will and the high­er will to which he swore an oath to serve.

This grow­ing gap between the pow­er of this office and the expe­ri­ence of his per­son­al pow­er erod­ing may cre­ate with­in him, at least in part, a desire to walk away from or give up this posi­tion of pow­er as it has lost its appeal. It is no longer of per­son­al use to him. The rea­son for this will because he has failed to under­stand and serve in the office of the Pres­i­dent as those who came before him.

The align­ment of Plu­to to Trump’s Sat­urn dur­ing 2020 is even more chal­leng­ing, as it will direct­ly threat­en his sense of posi­tion (Sat­urn) and the con­fi­dence he has in main­tain­ing that role. Typ­i­cal­ly, an indi­vid­ual with this tran­sit feels that the effort to wield or main­tain their posi­tion is over­whelm­ing. Author­i­ties, who rep­re­sent oth­er realms and sources of pow­er, are coun­ter­ing or oppos­ing his form of exer­cis­ing his (pres­i­den­tial) power.

These oth­er cen­ters of pow­er may wield such a strong counter-force that he will not be able to per­form his duties, or thwart his attempts to do what he wish­es. He will either have to bend or break under the pres­sure of foes and forces that will appear unshak­able and unbeat­able. Again, as a result of this pres­sure he may wish to with­draw from his posi­tion or if he attempts to remain, he will find that his pow­er is cir­cum­scribed or rescinded.

There are sev­er­al oth­er chal­leng­ing tran­sits in Trump’s chart in 2019 and 2020 (Nep­tune Square his Uranus in 2019 and Square his North Node in 2020, Uranus Semi­Square his Uranus in 2019 and Uranus Square his Plu­to in 2020), and I will address these in future post­ings and radio shows.

But the prin­ci­pal chal­lenge for the next two years will be Trump’s encounter with this test of Plu­to, with this test of Posi­tion and Power.
