The Space of Creation<\/strong><\/h1>\n

At the sacred hinge of the year, when day and night meet in their equal embrace, we stand beneath the arch\u00adway of Libra. The light bends soft\u00adly now, and the soul feels the music of bal\u00adance return\u00ading. We cross the thresh\u00adold into the lat\u00adter half of the celes\u00adtial year, car\u00adry\u00ading with us the old\u00adest ques\u00adtions of the heart: Who am I? Who are you? From what mys\u00adtery have I come, and toward what dawn am I called?<\/p>\n

Four great gates shape our pil\u00adgrim\u00adage through the stars. Four sacred cham\u00adbers hold the sto\u00adry of our becom\u00ading. And here, in the house of Libra, we enter the cham\u00adber of the oth\u00ader, the shim\u00admer\u00ading field where the self dis\u00adcov\u00aders itself through the face, the voice, the touch, and the mys\u00adtery of anoth\u00ader soul.<\/p>\n

For none of us is fash\u00adioned alone. We are not soli\u00adtary stars burn\u00ading in an emp\u00adty sky, but con\u00adstel\u00adla\u00adtions made of count\u00adless lights. With\u00adin us and around us move hosts of liv\u00ading fields: body, breath, feel\u00ading, thought, spir\u00adit. Every meet\u00ading stirs them. Every love reshapes them. Every sor\u00adrow and every kind\u00adness will leave its trace upon the invis\u00adi\u00adble archi\u00adtec\u00adture of the soul.<\/p>\n

The ancient wis\u00addom whis\u00adpers that the uni\u00adverse is Spir\u00adit, Life, and Con\u00adscious\u00adness woven into one end\u00adless radi\u00adance. From the small\u00adest spark of being to the wheel\u00ading stars, all things arise in com\u00admu\u00adnion. Fields dwell with\u00adin fields, lives with\u00adin lives, for Cre\u00adation is not a col\u00adlec\u00adtion of sep\u00ada\u00adrat\u00aded things, but one great breath\u00ading tapes\u00adtry, each thread made lumi\u00adnous by its rela\u00adtion to the whole, to the One.<\/p>\n

So it is with us too. We are forged in the sacred fur\u00adnace of rela\u00adtion\u00adship. Moth\u00ader and father, sis\u00adter and broth\u00ader, friend and stranger, beloved and companion\u2014all have entered the mak\u00ading of us. What we call \u201cI\u201d is not a sealed cham\u00adber, but a liv\u00ading door\u00adway through which many souls have passed, each leav\u00ading a col\u00ador, a rhythm, a wound, a blessing.<\/p>\n

In youth\u2019s bright spring, in the warm full\u00adness of adult\u00adhood, and in the gold\u00aden hush of lat\u00ader years, we are made and remade by those we love and those who love us. We give and receive; we answer and are answered; we call forth one another\u2019s hid\u00adden becom\u00ading. In this holy exchange, we rise beyond the illu\u00adsion of alone\u00adness and remem\u00adber that rela\u00adtion\u00adship is alche\u00admy, by which the soul becomes more ful\u00adly itself.<\/p>\n

Yet even sacred pat\u00adterns can hard\u00aden. What once was a dance may become a chain; what once was response may fall into reac\u00adtion. We may lose the music between us, wan\u00adder\u00ading through mir\u00adrored rooms of mis\u00adun\u00adder\u00adstand\u00ading, where love\u2019s clear voice is dimmed by fear, regret, and old sorrow.<\/p>\n

Then Libra lifts her lamp. She asks us to pause, to breathe, to behold the oth\u00ader with a stead\u00adier ten\u00adder\u00adness. She asks: What am I ask\u00ading of you? What am I offer\u00ading to you? And beneath those ques\u00adtions, deep\u00ader still: Can I become the peace I seek? Can I return first to the sanc\u00adtu\u00adary of under\u00adstand\u00ading with\u00adin my own heart?<\/p>\n

True love does not grasp. It does not bind, demand, or com\u00admand. It shines because it is its nature to shine. It gives because giv\u00ading is its breath. And when we meet one anoth\u00ader from that unguard\u00aded cen\u00adter, we loosen the knots of fear and invite the pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of healing.<\/p>\n

So in this Libra time, and in every sea\u00adson of the soul, we are remind\u00aded: we are one another\u2019s thresh\u00adold, one another\u2019s mir\u00adror, one another\u2019s path of renew\u00adal. Through love, we are called out of sep\u00ada\u00adrate\u00adness and into the great field of becom\u00ading. Through love, we are born, day after day, life after life, into the truth of who we are.<\/p>\n

Here, at the turn\u00ading of the Equinox, as in the begin\u00adning and forever\u00admore, the stars speak sim\u00adply, and your heart knows the answer:<\/p>\n
