It has been two months since my last show, and I thought that we might want to turn our atten\u00adtion to the astro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal indi\u00adca\u00adtions for the USA<\/span> in 2024. Of course, we are all very aware that the com\u00ading year will be shaped, or maybe bet\u00adter warped by pres\u00adi\u00adden\u00adtial elec\u00adtion pol\u00adi\u00adtics, and so I will also con\u00adsid\u00ader the cur\u00adrent major par\u00adty can\u00addi\u00addates for the pres\u00adi\u00adden\u00adcy, the charts of Joe Biden and Don\u00adald Trump.<\/p>\n

Giv\u00aden that the elec\u00adtion is more than a year away, we cer\u00adtain\u00adly know that there will be many twists and turns in the tides of his\u00adto\u00adry between now and Novem\u00adber 2024, so we sim\u00adply can\u00adnot imag\u00adine or fore\u00adsee at this present time what we will encounter then, and that it may even turn out that only one or nei\u00adther of these two can\u00addi\u00addates will end up on the bal\u00adlot. But for our pur\u00adpos\u00ades today, giv\u00aden what we do know, let us see what the year ahead holds gen\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly for the USA<\/span>, and specif\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly for Joe Biden and Don\u00adald Trump.<\/p>\n

The USA<\/span>
\n<\/strong>Let\u2019s begin with what will cer\u00adtain\u00adly be true and con\u00adsid\u00ader the chart for the USA<\/span>. One of the prin\u00adci\u00adpal cycles that astrologers use to frame the arc of the life of a per\u00adson, or in this case a coun\u00adtry, is to con\u00adsid\u00ader the pro\u00adgressed chart, and prin\u00adci\u00adpal\u00adly the Sun\/Moon cycle from New Moon to Full Moon and then back to the next New Moon, a rough\u00adly 29-year cycle.<\/p>\n

For the USA<\/span>, 2024 will be the year for its ninth pro\u00adgressed New Moon. The pro\u00adgressed New and Full Moons should be under\u00adstood as fram\u00ading a cycle of unfold\u00adment for any being. Some of the more mean\u00ading\u00adful pair\u00adings of the New and Full Moon for the USA<\/span> were the 1846 New Moon lead\u00ading to the Full Moon of 1861, and the US<\/span> Civ\u00adil War.<\/p>\n

The 1965 New Moon reach\u00ading its cli\u00admax of the Full Moon in 1979, which led to the turn\u00ading away from the poli\u00adcies and pro\u00adgrams of FDR<\/span> estab\u00adlished in the pre\u00advi\u00adous New Moon of 1935, and also Lyn\u00addon Johnson\u2019s efforts to broad\u00aden the civ\u00adil rights and social pro\u00adgrams in 1964\u201365. It was this turn\u00ading that formed the counter-rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion to the New Deal and also to the Great Soci\u00adety pro\u00adgrams, pushed by neo-lib\u00ader\u00adals and Ronald Reagan\u2019s elec\u00adtion in 1980.<\/p>\n

The 1994 New Moon dur\u00ading the Clin\u00adton pres\u00adi\u00adden\u00adcy came a cli\u00admax with the Full Moon of 2008, and anoth\u00ader deba\u00adcle for the USA<\/span>, where once again the unfund\u00aded wars, this time in Iraq and Afghanistan forged a cred\u00adit market\/real estate bub\u00adble which result\u00aded in a finan\u00adcial mar\u00adket melt\u00addown, form\u00ading what real\u00adly was the sec\u00adond great Depres\u00adsion for the US<\/span> at the end of the Bush Presidency.<\/p>\n

And now we have the present-day New Moon in 2024, and a new seed of mean\u00ading for the USA<\/span> is being plant\u00aded once again. What will be the result at the Full Moon in 2038, who can say. What we do know is that just as in 1816, or 1846 or 1935 or 1965, we are at a turn\u00ading and the tides of his\u00adto\u00adry are sweep\u00ading through the sto\u00adry of Amer\u00adi\u00adca with the promise of new beginnings\u2026but it is up to every one of us to make the most of this opportunity.<\/p>\n

But we also know that this is the first New Moon after the first ever Plu\u00adto return in the USA<\/span> chart. Plu\u00adto is locat\u00aded in the sec\u00adond house of the USA<\/span>, the house of val\u00adue and the wealth of a nation. Plu\u00adto rules the will and the pow\u00ader of Alche\u00admy, and it this spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal root pow\u00ader which dri\u00adves the entire\u00adty of Cre\u00adation as the seem\u00ading\u00adly infi\u00adnite vari\u00adeties and hier\u00adar\u00adchies of ener\u00adgy-forms com\u00adbine to grow and trans\u00adform one anoth\u00ader, and it is this \u201cengine of cre\u00adation\u201d which forges the many man\u00adi\u00adfes\u00adta\u00adtions of spir\u00adit in all the hier\u00adar\u00adchies of life.<\/p>\n

The return of Plu\u00adto brings an end to the first cycle of val\u00adue and of pow\u00ader in the USA<\/span>. Which means we are equal\u00adly at the begin\u00adning of a new order of val\u00adue and pow\u00ader too. Indeed, we are at the moment of a major restate\u00adment and restruc\u00adtur\u00ading of the val\u00adue of the nation. The val\u00adue of any nation is fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adly formed by the pow\u00ader of the peo\u00adple. Yes, it is the Will of the peo\u00adple, and their alche\u00admy of com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtion, that forms the wealth of the nation.<\/p>\n

For the first 250 years of the USA<\/span>, this \u201cWill of the Peo\u00adple\u201d, through their polit\u00adi\u00adcal com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtions, that is the exer\u00adcise of their capac\u00adi\u00adty for self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion and free\u00addom, was lim\u00adit\u00aded by cus\u00adtoms and laws. In the very begin\u00adning, the will and pow\u00ader for polit\u00adi\u00adcal self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion was only held by male, white prop\u00ader\u00adty own\u00aders, (and not an insignif\u00adi\u00adcant part of the prop\u00ader\u00adty for some of those was own\u00ader\u00adship of oth\u00ader human beings!). But slow\u00adly through the decades, this right of self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion by com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtion was extend\u00aded through the exten\u00adsion of the right and capa\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty to vote. It has not been a straight line, and there have been advances and retreats, but the strug\u00adgle for one person\/one vote, and the abil\u00adi\u00adty to join togeth\u00ader for the com\u00admon good has made progress over the arc of the his\u00adto\u00adry of the Unit\u00aded States.<\/p>\n

After the great expan\u00adsion of self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion by eman\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion of slaves after the Civ\u00adil War, the counter-rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion of Jim Crow laws in the south broke the promise of free\u00addom and denied the right to vote to the non-white pop\u00adu\u00adlace, espe\u00adcial\u00adly in the South. Then with the grant\u00adi\u00adng of suf\u00adfrage to women, the Unit\u00aded States expe\u00adri\u00adenced the great\u00adest exten\u00adsion of self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion in 1920. And after the Civ\u00adil Rights move\u00adment of the 1950\u2019s and 60\u2019s, the re-estab\u00adlish\u00adment of the right to vote was extend\u00aded once again.<\/p>\n

But in the past few years, we have seen both a legal and oper\u00ada\u00adtional push to restrict vot\u00ading rights and the abil\u00adi\u00adty to vote again, espe\u00adcial\u00adly after the Supreme Court gut\u00adted the 1965 Vot\u00ading Rights Act in 2013. The Vot\u00ading Rights Act had required cer\u00adtain states, those which had a his\u00adto\u00adry of sup\u00adpress\u00ading vot\u00ading rights, and prin\u00adci\u00adpal\u00adly in the south, that they were required to sub\u00admit any changes to vot\u00ading poli\u00adcies and pro\u00adce\u00addures to the Jus\u00adtice Depart\u00adment for review. As soon as the 2013 rul\u00ading came down, many of those states began to restrict the right and abil\u00adi\u00adty to vote. That along with oth\u00ader mea\u00adsures by those seek\u00ading to reassert or main\u00adtain the rule of the minor\u00adi\u00adty over the major\u00adi\u00adty has once again put into ques\u00adtion exact\u00adly what form of democ\u00adra\u00adcy will pre\u00advail in the USA<\/span>.<\/p>\n

This is why the return of Plu\u00adto, and the ques\u00adtion of the Will, of who has the pow\u00ader to deter\u00admine the future of the USA<\/span> is again dri\u00adving the sto\u00adry of the USA<\/span> now. The ques\u00adtion is this, will the major\u00adi\u00adty of US<\/span> cit\u00adi\u00adzens be able deter\u00admine the future of this coun\u00adtry or will they not.<\/p>\n

So, it would seem quite fit\u00adting and time\u00adly that the major tran\u00adsit in the chart of the USA<\/span> in 2024 is Uranus squar\u00ading the USA<\/span> Moon. In a nation\u00adal chart the Moon lit\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly rules \u201cthe peo\u00adple\u201d, and each time Uranus makes a sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant pass over a point in a chart, rough\u00adly every 21\u201322 years, there is a shock and release of new for\u00adma\u00adtions. The most sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant align\u00adments of Uranus to the USA<\/span> Moon for the 20th<\/sup> cen\u00adtu\u00adry until now were the con\u00adjunc\u00adtion of 1918, the square of 1941, the oppo\u00adsi\u00adtion of 1961, the square of 1981, and the con\u00adjunc\u00adtion of 2003. Now in 2024 we will be at the next wax\u00ading square.<\/p>\n

The prin\u00adci\u00adple behind Uranus holds the process of indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion and the expe\u00adri\u00adence of free\u00addom. As it moves through any space in a chart, and over any ele\u00adment in it, it serves to elic\u00adit growth through the break\u00ading up of old pat\u00adterns and mean\u00adings. The Uranus square to the USA<\/span> Moon of 2024 is a wax\u00ading square, and if we con\u00adsid\u00ader the last two times it aligned with the USA<\/span> moon, we can see that it has coin\u00adcid\u00aded with a tremen\u00addous shift in the con\u00adscious\u00adness and actions of the US<\/span> population.<\/p>\n

The first wax\u00ading square was in 1857, which coin\u00adcid\u00aded with the divi\u00adsion of the peo\u00adple of the coun\u00adtry between those who believed in the equal\u00adi\u00adty of human beings, and those who believed some humans were des\u00adtined to be sub\u00ador\u00addi\u00adnate to others.<\/p>\n

The sec\u00adond wax\u00ading square was in 1941, and dur\u00ading this peri\u00adod the USA<\/span> was deeply divid\u00aded between those who wished to with\u00addraw from a world at war, a exis\u00adten\u00adtial bat\u00adtle between Fas\u00adcism and Free\u00addom, a war by dic\u00adta\u00adtors and auto\u00adcrats against those who believed that indi\u00advid\u00adual free\u00addom is a right that should be safe\u00adguard\u00aded and extend\u00aded to one and all.<\/p>\n

So here in 2023 and 2024, as Uranus squares the USA<\/span> Moon once again, the peo\u00adple of the USA<\/span> are going to be shocked in order to awak\u00aden in order to free us from our self-made lim\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtions. We will need to use the many crises we are con\u00adfronting to remem\u00adber the promise of Amer\u00adi\u00adca, which is held in our com\u00adpact with one anoth\u00ader and forged by the inte\u00adgral two-fold prin\u00adci\u00adple of indi\u00advid\u00adual self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion which can only be pre\u00adserved and shaped by our com\u00admu\u00adnal respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties to one anoth\u00ader. That in fac\u00ading our chal\u00adlenges with and between one anoth\u00ader, we choose to turn from the destruc\u00adtive pas\u00adsions of \u201cus and them\u201d, because we agree to be bound by our sacred oath to the essen\u00adtial truth of our con\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adtion\u00adal covenant, which is we are seek\u00ading to forge a soci\u00adety where all may live freely and fair\u00adly with one anoth\u00ader, and that this prin\u00adci\u00adple must guide every per\u00adson, and every form of union and com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty, as we reded\u00adi\u00adcate our pur\u00adpos\u00ades to make pos\u00adsi\u00adble a bet\u00adter future for our\u00adselves and our descendants.<\/p>\n

Now as I men\u00adtioned ear\u00adli\u00ader, we can\u00adnot know for cer\u00adtain what will hap\u00adpen dur\u00ading the next many months lead\u00ading up to the party\u2019s con\u00adven\u00adtions or who will be on the bal\u00adlot in Novem\u00adber 2024. But pre\u00adsum\u00ading that the lead\u00ading con\u00adtenders today are the choice, let us briefly con\u00adsid\u00ader what is hap\u00adpen\u00ading in 2024 in the charts of Joe Biden and Don\u00adald Trump.<\/p>\n

When con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ading the chart of any indi\u00advid\u00adual, one can obtain a very quick sense of what are the major themes by look\u00ading at the most pow\u00ader\u00adful tran\u00adsits, those formed by the three out\u00ader plan\u00adets, that are cur\u00adrent\u00adly in effect for their chart. In 2024, the plan\u00adets Plu\u00adto and Nep\u00adtune, and Uranus are all mak\u00ading strong tran\u00adsits to both Joe Biden\u2019s and Don\u00adald Trump\u2019s charts.<\/p>\n

Biden<\/strong>
\nFor Biden in 2024, Plu\u00adto is squar\u00ading his Moon while trin\u00ading his Nep\u00adtune. Giv\u00aden the slow-mov\u00ading nature of Plu\u00adto, this dou\u00adble tran\u00adsit is cer\u00adtain\u00adly shap\u00ading his life in 2023 and 2024. The Moon rules our emo\u00adtion\u00adal life, of how we meet and respond to our needs and the needs of oth\u00aders, and most espe\u00adcial\u00adly con\u00adcerns those clos\u00adest to us, our loved ones, our fam\u00adi\u00adly, and our most impor\u00adtant emo\u00adtion\u00adal attach\u00adments. This Plu\u00adto tran\u00adsit is very chal\u00adleng\u00ading, but it can lead us onto the path of emo\u00adtion\u00adal trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion and integration.<\/p>\n

What is being offered by the intense pres\u00adsure that Plu\u00adto always brings is an oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty for greater insight into Biden\u2019s own emo\u00adtions and that of his loved ones. Since Plu\u00adto rules the Will and the les\u00adson of con\u00adtrol, Biden will be chal\u00adlenged to main\u00adtain self-con\u00adtrol, to turn away from any attempt to con\u00adtrol anoth\u00ader but instead to help him\u00adself and any oth\u00ader find their own true path to self-accep\u00adtance and self-con\u00adtrol. For me this intense expe\u00adri\u00adence is there for us all to see in Biden\u2019s chal\u00adlenge of deal\u00ading with his son\u2019s legal trou\u00adbles.  The chal\u00adlenge and oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty for Biden is to main\u00adtain being cen\u00adtered and bal\u00adanced no mat\u00adter how chal\u00adleng\u00ading the cir\u00adcum\u00adstances are now, as he is faced with the test of emo\u00adtion\u00adal self-con\u00adtrol which will fos\u00adter ever deep\u00ader deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion and a res\u00adolute spirit.<\/p>\n

Mean\u00adwhile, Plu\u00adto is form\u00ading a trine to Biden\u2019s Nep\u00adtune, and this is a very uplift\u00ading and inspir\u00ading tran\u00adsit. Nep\u00adtune is the avatar of Uncon\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal Love, of spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal com\u00adpas\u00adsion and sac\u00adri\u00adfice, and Biden\u2019s natal Nep\u00adtune is locat\u00aded in his 10th<\/sup> house of pub\u00adlic life and career. Biden is being offered a gift to explore a deep\u00ader mean\u00ading for his life, as his spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal nature is stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00aded to explore the true mean\u00ading of sac\u00adri\u00adfice, which means to live a life in a sacred way, where one gives up the less\u00ader to hon\u00ador the greater with\u00adin and around us. He will feel and know, at least for him\u00adself, that what mat\u00adters now is more impor\u00adtant than him\u00adself, and that by fol\u00adlow\u00ading the path of self\u00adless\u00adness and sac\u00adri\u00adfice he is ful\u00adfill\u00ading his des\u00adtiny, giv\u00aden his Nep\u00adtune is in his 10th<\/sup> house of career, that his work in this life is not a job but a calling.<\/p>\n

As if to mag\u00adni\u00adfy, but equal\u00adly hum\u00adble him, the plan\u00adet Nep\u00adtune itself now is form\u00ading a trine to Biden\u2019s Sun and Jupiter this year, and to the Sun and Venus in 2024. The Sun rep\u00adre\u00adsents the \u201cself\u201d, and Jupiter rules the moral com\u00adpass, and Venus rules the expe\u00adri\u00adence of val\u00adue and love. Last\u00adly, Uranus is oppo\u00adsite Biden\u2019s Mer\u00adcury in 2023, but form\u00ading a sex\u00adtile to his Jupiter in 2024. For 2023, that means that Biden\u2019s mind is being stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00aded and shook up, as he has been expe\u00adri\u00adenc\u00ading excit\u00ading and stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00ading insights, but also find\u00ading that com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtions are very unpre\u00addictable, and he will have sev\u00ader\u00adal shocks that could throw him off bal\u00adance. The chal\u00adlenge is to bend as oth\u00aders chal\u00adlenge your way of think\u00ading, and to be patient when his insights are not as well received as he thinks they should be. The chal\u00adlenge is to remain open to new ideas and not to jump to con\u00adclu\u00adsions or respond with\u00adout some time to con\u00adsid\u00ader how best to do that.<\/p>\n

For 2024, Uranus sex\u00adtile Jupiter is most def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly a for\u00adtu\u00adnate align\u00adment. Often it brings unex\u00adpect\u00aded and good news to an indi\u00advid\u00adual. As opposed to 2023, Biden will be able to cope bet\u00adter with any sud\u00adden changes, and even enjoy the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty and chal\u00adlenge pre\u00adsent\u00aded by the unfore\u00adseen events that he encoun\u00adters dur\u00ading 2024.<\/p>\n

Trump<\/strong>
\nFor Trump, he has Plu\u00adto mak\u00ading a two-year aspect of the incon\u00adjunct, or 150-degree aspect to his Ascen\u00addant for 2023 and 2024. The 150-degree aspect is one of adjust\u00adment and attune\u00adment, of pain and suf\u00adfer\u00ading if one does not adjust, or renew\u00adal and heal\u00ading if one does. Plu\u00adto rules the will and the issue of con\u00adtrol, and the ascen\u00addant is the man\u00adner in which we meet each moment in the eter\u00adnal now. This tran\u00adsit indi\u00adcates that Trump is expe\u00adri\u00adenc\u00ading a shift in his all his rela\u00adtion\u00adships this year, and specif\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly in how he expe\u00adri\u00adences the bal\u00adance of pow\u00ader between him\u00adself and oth\u00aders. The test and oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty of Plu\u00adto is always about sacred space and the will, and the ques\u00adtion is whether one can work with Plu\u00adto to devel\u00adop ever greater self-con\u00adtrol and self-mas\u00adtery in one\u2019s life, or mis\u00adun\u00adder\u00adstand or mis\u00aduse Plu\u00adto and so expe\u00adri\u00adence the loss of con\u00adtrol and\/or of being more con\u00adtrolled by oth\u00aders because of a lack of self-control.<\/p>\n

Of course, Trump\u2019s spe\u00adcial expe\u00adri\u00adence of him\u00adself is as being an excep\u00adtion\u00adal man, an icon\u00ado\u00adclas\u00adtic avatar that shat\u00adters con\u00adven\u00adtions and norms, and him being \u201cout of con\u00adtrol\u201d is sort of his brand. Per\u00adhaps he will be able to mas\u00adter him\u00adself when need\u00aded in these two years, or per\u00adhaps he will be faced with the truth that those who fail to respect the bound\u00adaries of oth\u00aders will face their own loss of self-deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion in the end.<\/p>\n

At the same time as Plu\u00adto is form\u00ading the 150-degree aspect to Trump\u2019s Ascen\u00addant, Nep\u00adtune is as well. Now that is some coin\u00adci\u00addence! (And of course, I do not believe in coin\u00adci\u00addences). Where\u00adas Plu\u00adto is about the Will and one\u2019s self-con\u00adtrol, Nep\u00adtune is the avatar of Uncon\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal Love and Sac\u00adri\u00adfice. Nep\u00adtune is offer\u00ading to shape Trump\u2019s expe\u00adri\u00adence of his rela\u00adtion\u00adship with him\u00adself and towards oth\u00aders so as to incor\u00adpo\u00adrate a greater degree of humil\u00adi\u00adty and sac\u00adri\u00adfice. But if mis\u00adcon\u00adstrued and mis\u00adap\u00adplied, if the spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal mes\u00adsage is not expressed as it can and should be, then he will ampli\u00adfy his expe\u00adri\u00adence and expres\u00adsion of per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty to assume a greater degree of mar\u00adtyr\u00addom. Whether he is able to bal\u00adance his being excep\u00adtion\u00adal and pow\u00ader\u00adful while also mak\u00ading a true sac\u00adri\u00adfice, well that will be seen in how well under\u00adstands the dif\u00adfer\u00adence between mak\u00ading a sac\u00adri\u00adfice and being the sac\u00adri\u00adfice. As most of know by now, Trump does not \u201cdo hum\u00adble\u201d, and he can only exist by being a win\u00adner.
