Astro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal Mus\u00adings \u2014 Plu\u00adto in Aquar\u00adius, Plu\u00adto in the signs and what do we mean by an age?<\/p>\n

As many of you know I have been speak\u00ading and writ\u00ading about Pluto\u2019s pas\u00adsage through Capri\u00adcorn since 2008 as the \u201cend of age\u201d. Nat\u00adu\u00adral\u00adly, we might assume that the next pas\u00adsage of Plu\u00adto through Aquar\u00adius, which tech\u00adni\u00adcal\u00adly has begun here in 2023, would mark the begin\u00adning of a \u201cNew Age\u201d. But that rais\u00ades a num\u00adber of ques\u00adtions, the first ques\u00adtion being what do we mean, or what do I mean by an \u201cage\u201d, or the end of an age, let alone \u201ca new age\u201d?<\/p>\n

Many observers of his\u00adto\u00adry have cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adrized peri\u00adods in his\u00adto\u00adry, in var\u00adi\u00adous areas and regions in the world as being of a cer\u00adtain type or order, and they char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adized what some call \u201cthe tides of his\u00adto\u00adry\u201d, the rise and fall of civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtions and cul\u00adtures over years, cen\u00adturies and even mil\u00adlen\u00adnia. Some eras or ages are rather long, oth\u00aders much short\u00ader. And you prob\u00ada\u00adbly would not be sur\u00adprised to see that many if not most of these rip\u00adples in time can be under\u00adstood as being marked, informed, and shaped by the var\u00adi\u00adous cycles of the plan\u00adets around the Sun, as well as by their inter\u00adsect\u00ading cycles with one anoth\u00ader. After all, our Earth is part of this larg\u00ader sys\u00adtem, the solar sys\u00adtem, whose plan\u00ade\u00adtary cycles can be seen much like a giant forge of ener\u00adgy-forms whose cir\u00adcu\u00adla\u00adtions and per\u00adam\u00adbu\u00adla\u00adtions and rota\u00adtions form what I call the \u201cdance of the plan\u00adets\u201d, and it is this which cre\u00adates the ener\u00adgy-pat\u00adterns we expe\u00adri\u00adence as \u201ctime\u201d.<\/p>\n

Jupiter\/Saturn Muta\u00adtion<\/strong>
\nFor exam\u00adple, one of the most well-known cycles in Mun\u00addane Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy is the repeat\u00aded con\u00adjunc\u00adtions of Jupiter and Sat\u00adurn in a cer\u00adtain ele\u00adment, (Fire, Earth, Air and Water), that demar\u00adcate or indi\u00adcate the type of his\u00adtor\u00adi\u00adcal peri\u00adod that cul\u00adtures and civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtions are mov\u00ading through. We have just fin\u00adished a 200-year cycle in the ele\u00adment of Earth at the end of 2020, and we began a 200-year age of Air with Jupiter and Sat\u00adurn meet\u00ading in Aquar\u00adius. The com\u00adplete cycle for the Jupiter\/Saturn align\u00adments in the four ele\u00adments is about 800 years long.<\/p>\n

Anoth\u00ader means for peri\u00adodiz\u00ading his\u00adto\u00adry comes from the pas\u00adsages of the out\u00ader plan\u00adets through the Signs indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly, and also by the var\u00adi\u00adous Syn\u00adod\u00adic cycles that Uranus, Nep\u00adtune, and Plu\u00adto form with one anoth\u00ader. A Syn\u00adod\u00adic cycle is the peri\u00adod of one planet\u2019s con\u00adjunc\u00adtion with anoth\u00ader and those con\u00adjunc\u00adtions can be viewed as being like a \u201cnew Moon\u201d or a seed\u00ading of that\u2019s plan\u00ade\u00adtary pair\u2019s influence.<\/p>\n

Pluto\u2019s pas\u00adsage through the Signs takes about 245 years and Nep\u00adtune about 164 years and Uranus about 84 years. The longest Syn\u00adod\u00adic Cycle is that of Plu\u00adto with Nep\u00adtune, which is approx\u00adi\u00admate\u00adly 492 years, then comes Nep\u00adtune with Uranus of around 171 years and final\u00adly Plu\u00adto with Uranus of around 127 years.<\/p>\n

Out\u00ader Plan\u00adets Syn\u00adod\u00adic Cycles<\/strong>
\nWith regard to those com\u00adbined syn\u00adod\u00adic cycles, the most recent Pluto\/Neptune cycle began in 1891\u201392, and the pre\u00advi\u00adous seed\u00ading was in 1398\u201399. I con\u00adsid\u00ader this influ\u00adence to be the rec\u00adi\u00adp\u00adro\u00adcal rela\u00adtion\u00adship of Divine Will and Divine Love, and for us forms the dynam\u00adic inter\u00adplay of how we man\u00adage the mys\u00adtery of union or of alche\u00admy, as we learn to join togeth\u00ader with\u00adout los\u00ading our indi\u00advid\u00adual selves in one another.<\/p>\n

The last Neptune\/Uranus cycle began in 1993, and the pre\u00advi\u00adous seed\u00ading was in 1821. This plan\u00ade\u00adtary pair con\u00adcerns the rec\u00adi\u00adp\u00adro\u00adcal rela\u00adtion\u00adship between \u201cFreer Minds\u201d or inde\u00adpen\u00addence and uncon\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal love or com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty, it holds the ever-unfold\u00ading dynam\u00adic ten\u00adsion between our var\u00adi\u00adous \u201ckinds\u201d of being and belong\u00ading to a com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty as one of many, while also try\u00ading to live and being true to one\u00adself as a \u201cone of a kind\u201d.<\/p>\n

Final\u00adly, the last Pluto\/Uranus cycle began in 1965\u201366, and the pre\u00advi\u00adous seed\u00ading was in 1850\u201351. This plan\u00ade\u00adtary pair con\u00adcerns the rec\u00adi\u00adp\u00adro\u00adcal rela\u00adtion\u00adship between the Will and Free\u00addom, or Sacred Space and Freer Minds; it is the ever-unfold\u00ading dynam\u00adic ten\u00adsion of striv\u00ading to being freer with\u00adout caus\u00ading harm to anoth\u00ader or oth\u00aders in their sacred space.<\/p>\n

What this means is that in just the last 100 years or so we have had each of the three major plan\u00ade\u00adtary pairs begin new cycles, and per\u00adhaps that may be anoth\u00ader rea\u00adson as to why we are mov\u00ading through such a dynam\u00adic and tumul\u00adtuous peri\u00adod of change.<\/p>\n

So, in a way we could say that 1891 was the begin\u00adning of an age, as was 1965, and also 1993. Indeed, there are realms with\u00adin realms, cir\u00adcles with\u00adin cir\u00adcles and for us to try and sort through and under\u00adstand these mul\u00adti\u00adple influ\u00adences and ener\u00adgy-forms is quite chal\u00adleng\u00ading. But for our pur\u00adpos\u00ades today, let\u2019s con\u00adsid\u00ader the cycle of Plu\u00adto through the signs and see what mes\u00adsages it might have for us.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto through the Signs<\/strong>
\nThe pas\u00adsage of Plu\u00adto through the Zodi\u00adac takes about 245 years, and I believe it marks one of the more sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant shapers for the series of phas\u00ades in our spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal devel\u00adop\u00adment as we trav\u00adel through the halls of his\u00adto\u00adry. Plu\u00adto is crit\u00adi\u00adcal, as it holds for us, or is the Avatar for us in our solar sys\u00adtem, for the essen\u00adtial pow\u00ader that is Alche\u00admy, which is the heart of the spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal process that dri\u00adves Cre\u00adation. The beat\u00ading heart of Cre\u00adation is forged by com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtions of the many ones who in their entire\u00adty form the Life and Body of the One. Spir\u00adit moves into innu\u00admer\u00adable forms of man\u00adi\u00adfes\u00adta\u00adtion, which pro\u00adceeds as a series of cre\u00adative com\u00adbi\u00adna\u00adtions of trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtions, which we expe\u00adri\u00adence and under\u00adstand as Birth, Death, and then Rebirth into new forms. As I like to say, the whole of Cre\u00adation is the sto\u00adry of Spir\u00adit danc\u00ading through Mat\u00adter-Forms, which are the tem\u00adpo\u00adrary forms of mate\u00adri\u00adal\u00adiza\u00adtions which by their very nature are mor\u00adtal or bound by time.<\/p>\n

If we take the \u201cbegin\u00adning\u201d of the jour\u00adney for Plu\u00adto through the signs, that is start\u00ading with Aries, then we should under\u00adstand that the pas\u00adsage from Aries to Tau\u00adrus, from Tau\u00adrus to Gem\u00adi\u00adni and so on, should be viewed as the \u201csto\u00adry of Plu\u00adto\u201d in the signs, with the nature and mean\u00ading of each sign being trans\u00adformed by the agency of Alche\u00admy that is Plu\u00adto. That would mean that a New Age of Plu\u00adto would begin in Aries and would end in Pisces. In each of those pas\u00adsages in a sign, we would expect to find the arche\u00adtyp\u00adal-trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion\u00adal role of Plu\u00adto to take the expe\u00adri\u00adences of that realm to the high\u00adest of highs, and equal\u00adly to the low\u00adest of lows, for us to expe\u00adri\u00adence in that sign the alchem\u00adi\u00adcal truth of Birth, Death, and Rebirth if you will. So, why did I des\u00adig\u00adnate the pas\u00adsage of Plu\u00adto in Capri\u00adcorn as the \u201cend of an age\u201d?<\/p>\n

My des\u00adig\u00adna\u00adtion or delin\u00adeation comes from what Capri\u00adcorn holds or rep\u00adre\u00adsents, which is the Insti\u00adtu\u00adtion\u00adal Hier\u00adar\u00adchy, whether that be of fam\u00adi\u00adly, com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty cul\u00adture or civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtion. In Capri\u00adcorn we wit\u00adness or reach the apex and\/or col\u00adlapse of the devel\u00adop\u00adment for that Plu\u00adto cycle, the ful\u00adfill\u00adment of what\u00adev\u00ader ener\u00adgy-form we are exam\u00adin\u00ading, (which in our case is the broad\u00ader human sto\u00adry of cul\u00adture and civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtion). What would come after, where we are now in 2023 until 2044, is our chal\u00adlenge to reimag\u00adine the world we want to pre\u00adserve or cre\u00adate now (Aquar\u00adius), and then in the last Sign of Pisces, the final chal\u00adlenge would to be restore our faith and face down our fears. Giv\u00aden our cur\u00adrent cycle of Plu\u00adto, the next new \u201cage of Plu\u00adto\u201d will not tru\u00adly begin until 2068 when Plu\u00adto enters Aries again.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, let us see what the cur\u00adrent cycle of Plu\u00adto through the signs has been. We should arrange this both in date order, but we may also find it use\u00adful to con\u00adsid\u00ader the four sea\u00adson\u00adal sec\u00adtions of these pas\u00adsages, Aries to Gem\u00adi\u00adni, Can\u00adcer to Vir\u00adgo, Libra to Sagit\u00adtar\u00adius and Capri\u00adcorn to Pisces to be insight\u00adful as well.<\/p>\n

The first three signs, Aries, Tau\u00adrus, and Gem\u00adi\u00adni, form the begin\u00adning of the emer\u00adgence of any age.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Aries<\/strong>
\nThe begin\u00adning of the last pas\u00adsage of Plu\u00adto in Aries was 1823 to 1853, which most cer\u00adtain\u00adly cor\u00adre\u00adsponds to the emer\u00adgence of a new form of world iden\u00adti\u00adty, with the seed\u00ading of the mod\u00adern polit\u00adi\u00adcal and indus\u00adtri\u00adal age and the begin\u00adning of a world-wide glob\u00adal\u00adiza\u00adtion of the polit\u00adi\u00adcal econ\u00ado\u00admy, as Plu\u00adto in Aries her\u00adald\u00aded that a new type of order was tak\u00ading shape in the world. It wit\u00adnessed what his\u00adto\u00adri\u00adans call the first \u201cindus\u00adtri\u00adal rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion\u201d, includ\u00ading the spread of the means of con\u00adnect\u00ading and trav\u00adel\u00adling that exceed\u00aded any\u00adthing before that time ever in human his\u00adto\u00adry, the railroad.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Taurus<\/strong>
\nThe pas\u00adsage of Plu\u00adto through Tau\u00adrus was from 1853 to 1884 and cor\u00adre\u00adspond\u00aded with the trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion of the val\u00adues of the emerg\u00ading world order of that time, the rise of fac\u00adto\u00adries and major indus\u00adtri\u00adal pro\u00adduc\u00adtion was the sub\u00adstan\u00adtial man\u00adi\u00adfes\u00adta\u00adtion that would lead to the car\u00adbon-based world order that we have now. In the USA<\/span>, this strug\u00adgle over our val\u00adues came to a cli\u00admax with the Civ\u00adil War, over the very ques\u00adtion of the slav\u00adery, with the eman\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion of the slaves, and then their vir\u00adtu\u00adal re-enslave\u00adment with the counter-ref\u00ador\u00adma\u00adtion as the strug\u00adgle for equal\u00adi\u00adty and jus\u00adtice in Recon\u00adstruc\u00adtion failed, which led to the rise of share\u00adcrop\u00adping and Jim Crow in the south.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Gemini<\/strong>
\nPluto\u2019s pas\u00adsage through Gem\u00adi\u00adni was 1884 to 1914 and this cor\u00adre\u00adspond\u00aded with the trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion through a surge of inven\u00adtive\u00adness and new tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies that formed the spread of the infor\u00adma\u00adtion net\u00adworks of the glob\u00adal order, with lines of com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion that con\u00adnect\u00aded and encom\u00adpassed for the very first time the entire world. The sec\u00adond three signs, Can\u00adcer, Leo, and Vir\u00adgo, form the sec\u00adond qua\u00adter\u00adni\u00adty, and rep\u00adre\u00adsent the strug\u00adgle with the foun\u00adda\u00adtions and the via\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of what began in the first quarter.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Cancer<\/strong>
\nPlu\u00adto moved through Can\u00adcer from 1914 to 1939, and the foun\u00adda\u00adtions of the world and human secu\u00adri\u00adty were dis\u00adrupt\u00aded by World War One, the world-wide Great Depres\u00adsion and the begin\u00adning of the Sec\u00adond World War. Plu\u00adto in Virgo<\/strong>
\nPlu\u00adto moved through Vir\u00adgo from 1957 to 1972, as the world became trans\u00adformed by the devel\u00adop\u00adment of new tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies and meth\u00adods of pro\u00adduc\u00adtion, which trans\u00adformed the econ\u00ado\u00admy through sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adic dis\u00adcov\u00ader\u00adies and rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion\u00adary appli\u00adca\u00adtions in med\u00adi\u00adcine, food pro\u00adduc\u00adtion, and the nature of work and liv\u00ading were trans\u00adformed. Dis\u00adeases were con\u00adquered but new sources of human suf\u00adfer\u00ading were forged by the dis\u00adrup\u00adtions of nat\u00adur\u00adal sys\u00adtems by the pro\u00adlif\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion of chem\u00adi\u00adcals and oth\u00ader human-made poi\u00adsons into the world.<\/p>\n

The third sec\u00adtor of signs, Libra, Scor\u00adpio, and Sagit\u00adtar\u00adius forms the third quar\u00adter of the Astro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal cal\u00aden\u00addar, and it is in this sec\u00adond half of the Plu\u00adto cycle where we can see that Pluto\u2019s Alchem\u00adi\u00adcal force trans\u00adformed the larg\u00ader struc\u00adtures of human life.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Libra<\/strong>
\nPlu\u00adto moved through Libra from 1972 to 1984, and the trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtions of the soci\u00adety and cul\u00adture of the pre\u00advi\u00adous signs led to an erup\u00adtion of changes in the qual\u00adi\u00adty and the nature of the var\u00adi\u00adous forms of rela\u00adtion\u00adships in soci\u00adety, for sex\u00adu\u00adal rela\u00adtion\u00adships, for racial and cul\u00adtur\u00adal divi\u00adsions so that the more con\u00adstrained def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtions of social norms were bro\u00adken lead\u00ading to lib\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtions for many and yet equal\u00adly the rise of counter-move\u00adments seek\u00ading to return to tra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal ways of defin\u00ading hier\u00adar\u00adchy and power.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Scorpio<\/strong>
\nPlu\u00adto moved through (its own sign) of Scor\u00adpio from 1984 to 1995, herald\u00ading trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtions of the world order as the essen\u00adtial divi\u00adsion of East and West was bro\u00adken down by the col\u00adlapse of the Sovi\u00adet Union and the open\u00ading of Chi\u00adna to the world econ\u00ado\u00admy, which cre\u00adat\u00aded the poten\u00adtial for what some called the \u201cend of his\u00adto\u00adry\u201d and the so-called tri\u00adumph of the lib\u00ader\u00adal polit\u00adi\u00adcal eco\u00adnom\u00adic order. What real\u00adly emerged in this so-called \u201cpeace div\u00adi\u00addend\u201d, led to the break\u00ading up of many of the for\u00admer alliances of the world in the con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00ading strug\u00adgle between moder\u00adni\u00adty and old\u00ader cul\u00adtures and customs.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Sagittarius<\/strong>
\nPlu\u00adto passed through Sagit\u00adtar\u00adius from 1995 to 2008, and the realms of belief, truth, sci\u00adence, and reli\u00adgion were trans\u00adformed and dis\u00adrupt\u00aded by advances in sci\u00adence, in com\u00adput\u00aders, the spread of the inter\u00adnet and oth\u00ader mea\u00adsures that con\u00adnect\u00aded every\u00adthing and every\u00adone, but equal\u00adly gave rise to a host of what we know as mil\u00adlen\u00adni\u00adal move\u00adments, to fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adist and author\u00adi\u00adtar\u00adi\u00adan sys\u00adtems seek\u00ading to base their cul\u00adtures and gov\u00adern\u00adments as coun\u00adter\u00adpoints to the lib\u00ader\u00adal world order that had been estab\u00adlished in the Amer\u00adi\u00adcan and French Rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtions, and their lat\u00ader tri\u00adumph over com\u00admu\u00adnism. Instead, the rush into the brave new worlds led to cathar\u00adtic erup\u00adtions of a long\u00ading for a sim\u00adpler order based for some upon what we know as \u201cblood and soil\u201d, as a return to tra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal beliefs and prac\u00adtices, and equal\u00adly to the mis\u00adguid\u00aded attempts to pro\u00admote \u201cdemoc\u00adra\u00adcy\u201d by impos\u00ading free\u00addom through destruction.<\/p>\n

Final\u00adly, Plu\u00adto entered the last quar\u00adter of the Zodi\u00adac, and the seed that was plant\u00aded in the ear\u00adly 1800\u2019s would bear its final fruits. Here we have expe\u00adri\u00adenced the tri\u00adumph or fail\u00adure of over 200 years of his\u00adto\u00adry and the painful real\u00adi\u00adties and crises of the present day.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Capricorn<\/strong>
\nPlu\u00adto moved through Capri\u00adcorn from 2008 to 2023, (and actu\u00adal\u00adly will dip in and out of Capri\u00adcorn all this year), and it brought this cycle of Plu\u00adto to its moment of reck\u00adon\u00ading, with the test\u00ading of the insti\u00adtu\u00adtion\u00adal orders of the world, with either the prop\u00ader or improp\u00ader wield\u00ading of Author\u00adi\u00adty, with the via\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty or inef\u00adfec\u00adtive\u00adness of Sys\u00adtems (which Capri\u00adcorn rules) revealed for all to see. As these insti\u00adtu\u00adtions of the world were shook, reformed, or broke apart, as the orders of soci\u00adety from the fam\u00adi\u00adly to the com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty, in realms sec\u00adtar\u00adi\u00adan and sec\u00adu\u00adlar held or crum\u00adbled around the world, to many it seemed as if they were indeed at the end of age, and that the promise of a bet\u00adter future for human\u00adi\u00adty was lost.<\/p>\n

Plu\u00adto in Aquarius<\/strong>
\nAnd now we have Plu\u00adto mov\u00ading into Aquar\u00adius from 2023 to 2044, and so we are fac\u00ading the chal\u00adlenge of the death and rebirth of our hopes and dreams for the future, which are forged and ful\u00adfilled by one anoth\u00ader, in the expe\u00adri\u00adences of our fel\u00adlow\u00adships, our com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties, and our social iden\u00adti\u00adties. The pur\u00adsuit of our old ways, of our old dreams and goals, by the same means and for the same rea\u00adsons, that path not only makes no sense, but it is also not even pos\u00adsi\u00adble. We have to move away from the abso\u00adlutist and ego\u00adtis\u00adti\u00adcal approach to this world and towards one anoth\u00ader, where the right do what one wants is unteth\u00adered to the essen\u00adtial truth of Spir\u00adit, that first and fore\u00admost we must be respon\u00adsi\u00adble, we must take care of one anoth\u00ader, and that we can only live on this beau\u00adti\u00adful Earth if we do so in a sus\u00adtain\u00adable and lov\u00ading man\u00adner, or we will fail our\u00adselves and our children.<\/p>\n
