Tran\u00adscript of Radio Show: The USA<\/span> and the 2020 Elec\u00adtion \u2013 Kamala Har\u00adris &<\/span> Joe Biden<\/strong><\/p>\n

In my last show back in July, I exam\u00adined the charts of Joe Biden and Don\u00adald Trump. Giv\u00aden Biden\u2019s choice of Kamala Har\u00adris as his run\u00adning mate, I thought we would look at her Astro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal chart today. Back on July 20, 2019, I did a radio show that looked at Kamala Har\u00adris (and Eliz\u00ada\u00adbeth War\u00adren) as part of my exam\u00adi\u00adna\u00adtion of the major Demo\u00adc\u00adra\u00adt\u00adic can\u00addi\u00addates for Pres\u00adi\u00addent, (and you might want to lis\u00adten to that show as well). But now that Kamala has been select\u00aded as Joe Biden\u2019s choice for Vice-Pres\u00adi\u00addent, I thought it would be inter\u00adest\u00ading and help\u00adful to take a deep\u00ader look today.<\/p>\n

The first thing that I look for in any chart is the over\u00adall pat\u00adtern. Astrologers have found that there are def\u00adi\u00adnite shapes of a chart where\u00adby the plan\u00adets around the earth form a pat\u00adtern. And indeed, there is a dis\u00adtinc\u00adtive pat\u00adtern in Kamala\u2019s chart, and It is called a See\u00adsaw or Hour\u00adglass pat\u00adtern. There are plan\u00adets on one side and plan\u00adets on anoth\u00ader side, and there is a wide space on each side of the two groups with no plan\u00adets. This arrange\u00adment indi\u00adcates a per\u00adson who has the abil\u00adi\u00adty to appre\u00adci\u00adate and under\u00adstand one side and equal\u00adly the oth\u00ader side of an issue or prob\u00adlem; they can encom\u00adpass an under\u00adstand\u00ading of the whole issue, to see one per\u00adson or group and then see the oth\u00ader side. Peo\u00adple like Kamala will strive to bring ideas, peo\u00adple, and groups togeth\u00ader to forge agree\u00adments by build\u00ading a bridge of mutu\u00adal under\u00adstand\u00ading. Kamala will try to rec\u00adon\u00adcile and inte\u00adgrate sides that are seem\u00ading\u00adly opposed to one anoth\u00ader. Peo\u00adple like Kamala are the inter\u00adlocu\u00adtors and inter\u00adme\u00addi\u00adaries of the Zodi\u00adac; they seek to bring peo\u00adple togeth\u00ader through objec\u00adtive under\u00adstand\u00ading and rea\u00adson. And this is quite fit\u00adting for a Libra, (Kamala\u2019s Sun Sign) which is known for that very qual\u00adi\u00adty of Social Intel\u00adli\u00adgence, Diplo\u00adma\u00adcy and Bridge Building.<\/p>\n

Then we look and see how the Plan\u00ade\u00adtary ener\u00adgy is dis\u00adtrib\u00aduted in a chart. We are talk\u00ading about the ele\u00adments of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water, and whether Kamala is more Car\u00addi\u00adnal, Fixed or Muta\u00adble in modal\u00adi\u00adty. Kamala\u2019s chart shows that she is a very fiery and earthy per\u00adson, so that she com\u00adbines the ide\u00adal\u00adism and dri\u00adve of fire but she fus\u00ades that with a more prac\u00adti\u00adcal ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion in terms of ground\u00ading those ideals in some\u00adthing pur\u00adpose\u00adful, mean\u00ading\u00adful, and most impor\u00adtant\u00adly achievable.<\/p>\n

Then in terms of the modal\u00adi\u00adty, she is very Car\u00addi\u00adnal but also Fixed. The Car\u00addi\u00adnal comes from her Sun in Libra and her Moon in Aries, but then she has a lot of fixed plan\u00adets. Car\u00addi\u00adnal peo\u00adple see a prob\u00adlem and they want to deal with it, they go for it and try and fix it. But Fixed peo\u00adple try to bear up and main\u00adtain things, so she has a lit\u00adtle bit of both. She will not hes\u00adi\u00adtate to address prob\u00adlems by tak\u00ading action, but Kamala will be guid\u00aded by her deter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion to remain stead\u00adfast and be guid\u00aded by cer\u00adtain val\u00adues that she holds to be true.<\/p>\n

I also like to see if there any sort of spe\u00adcial pat\u00adtern that might pro\u00advide a spe\u00adcial qual\u00adi\u00adty to a per\u00adson. Indeed, there is a rather spe\u00adcial pat\u00adtern in Kamala\u2019s chart, and it is called the Mys\u00adtic rec\u00adtan\u00adgle. The Mys\u00adtic Rec\u00adtan\u00adgle is formed by two group\u00adings of plan\u00adets. For Kamala it is her Sun oppo\u00adsite to her Moon, and her Mars oppo\u00adsite to Sat\u00adurn, and then each of those four points is linked with one anoth\u00ader. The two oppo\u00adsi\u00adtions are linked by what we call sex\u00adtiles and trines.<\/p>\n

Often oppo\u00adsi\u00adtions lead to a strug\u00adgle between one thing and anoth\u00ader. By hav\u00ading this Mys\u00adtic pat\u00adtern, it allows a per\u00adson to find a way through, a bridg\u00ading if you will between what seems to most to be irrec\u00adon\u00adcil\u00adable things. In her case the Sun in Libra would pre\u00addis\u00adpose a per\u00adson to try to do the right thing in terms of rela\u00adtion\u00adships and part\u00adner\u00adships, and to defer one\u2019s own needs and inter\u00adests for that of oth\u00aders, to be what we call very \u201coth\u00ader inter\u00adest\u00aded\u201d. Yet her moon in Aries says she also feels a strong need to assert her\u00adself and dis\u00adplay lead\u00ader\u00adship, courage, and ini\u00adtia\u00adtive. And if that is too strong one might run roughshod over oth\u00ader people.<\/p>\n

So, it is a tug of war between doing what is right for one\u00adself and doing what is more accom\u00admo\u00addat\u00ading. Of course, the les\u00adson in her life was to learn to hold her\u00adself in the mid\u00addle, to be pos\u00adi\u00adtive\u00adly self-assertive with\u00adout being too abra\u00adsive or strong about it; to be mind\u00adful\u00adly sen\u00adsi\u00adtive so that she equal\u00adly con\u00adsid\u00ader the social con\u00adse\u00adquences of those words and deeds in order to main\u00adtain har\u00admo\u00adny and balance.<\/p>\n

Like\u00adwise, with her Mars in Leo, Kamala wish\u00ades to act in the world in a way that that dis\u00adplays con\u00adfi\u00addence and mas\u00adtery as she looks to earn respect. But if you shape your actions too much by what will bring you approval and respect, well then you might become untrue to who you real\u00adly are. That is when her Sat\u00adurn in Aquar\u00adius reminds her, \u201cto thine own self be true\u201d, and that she should not over\u00adly care what peo\u00adple think. So that also pulls on her from anoth\u00ader direc\u00adtion. Giv\u00aden this polar\u00adiza\u00adtion, she could get stuck by either being too accom\u00admo\u00addat\u00ading in terms of try\u00ading to earn peo\u00adple\u2019s respect or too dis\u00admis\u00adsive of peo\u00adple so she can do her own thing. The need of course is to strike the right bal\u00adance, to be some\u00adone who val\u00adues hon\u00ador and indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty, but also real\u00adizes the impor\u00adtance of doing that with\u00adin a con\u00adtext that is social\u00adly mean\u00ading\u00adful. This pat\u00adtern is one of the keys to under\u00adstand\u00ading what dri\u00adves Kamala\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Then we turn to the prin\u00adci\u00adple indi\u00adca\u00adtors in any\u00adbody\u2019s chart, and for Kamala it is her Sun in Libra placed in her 5th house. Peo\u00adple with the sun in Libra are focused on rela\u00adtion\u00adships and part\u00adner\u00adships, and we often find them being the medi\u00ada\u00adtor between indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals and groups. Libra\u2019s have a strong sense of fair play and jus\u00adtice, and we usu\u00adal\u00adly see them work\u00ading towards alle\u00advi\u00adat\u00ading injus\u00adtices and heal\u00ading divi\u00adsions. Kamala is a lawyer, and a pros\u00ade\u00adcu\u00adtor and now a sen\u00ada\u00adtor, and get\u00adting involved in social caus\u00ades and try\u00ading to make that social space more equi\u00adtable and fair\u00ader would be some\u00adthing that would dri\u00adve her sto\u00adry with\u00adout question.<\/p>\n

Kamala\u2019s Sun is in the \u201cnat\u00adur\u00adal house\u201d for the Sun, the 5th<\/sup> House, as the Sun rules the 5th sign of Leo. This place\u00adment often indi\u00adcates some\u00adone who car\u00adries some form of ener\u00adgy that nat\u00adu\u00adral\u00adly dis\u00adplays lead\u00ader\u00adship; she inspires oth\u00aders with her prin\u00adci\u00adpled nature. More\u00adover, with her Sun in the nat\u00adur\u00adal house of Leo, she will shine like the Sun, and when she smiles it will light up the room with warmth and goodness.<\/p>\n

When we look to see how her Sun is con\u00adnect\u00aded to the rest of the chart, the first thing to note is that Kamala was born a Full Moon. I like to say that a per\u00adson born at a Full Moon is born with no excus\u00ades, because they implic\u00adit\u00adly under\u00adstand cause and effect, the law of action and reac\u00adtion. But it also indi\u00adcates that Kamala was brought into the world so that when she looked at her moth\u00ader, and then she looked at father, she said to her\u00adself, \u201cwow these peo\u00adple are dif\u00adfer\u00adent\u201d. It set Kamala on her path, to try and fig\u00adure out how to rec\u00adon\u00adcile the dif\u00adfer\u00adences I sense with\u00adin me, and then between myself and oth\u00ader peo\u00adple. This aware\u00adness dri\u00adves her sto\u00adry through\u00adout her life, try\u00ading to find a way to bring togeth\u00ader peo\u00adple and to bring togeth\u00ader the oppo\u00adsites and achieve an inte\u00adgral synthesis.<\/p>\n

Her Sun is also per\u00adfect\u00adly lined up with her Sat\u00adurn in Aquar\u00adius. A Sun\/Saturn trine per\u00adson has a very deep under\u00adstand\u00ading about how the world works, and equal\u00adly a res\u00adolute sense of respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty in the world in terms of their life. We typ\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly find that peo\u00adple like this often find their life tends to shine once they hit their 50s and onward, as they show great adept\u00adness and matu\u00adri\u00adty and skill in work\u00ading in struc\u00adtures and mas\u00adter\u00ading them.<\/p>\n

Her Sun is next to Mer\u00adcury, what we call a con\u00adjunc\u00adtion, and that makes her a very sharp per\u00adson in terms of her intel\u00adli\u00adgence. And that strength of mind fits quite well again with her moon being in Aries since the moon in Aries rules the head and makes for a rather quick mind.<\/p>\n

An Aries Moon per\u00adson leans into life, they are very enthu\u00adsi\u00adas\u00adtic, some\u00adtimes a lit\u00adtle too enthu\u00adsi\u00adas\u00adtic, some\u00adtimes a lit\u00adtle too com\u00adpet\u00adi\u00adtive, and that eager\u00adness or over\u00adreach\u00ading can some\u00adtimes bring them trou\u00adble. When\u00adev\u00ader a Moon in Aries per\u00adson is frus\u00adtrat\u00aded or hav\u00ading some dif\u00adfi\u00adcul\u00adty, I always tell them that the answer or rem\u00ade\u00addy is for them to get mov\u00ading, to just get very phys\u00adi\u00adcal and use up that ener\u00adgy in some form of phys\u00adi\u00adcal exer\u00adtion. Rather than peace\u00adful and still med\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtions in order to be cen\u00adtered, peo\u00adple like this should run, dance or move vig\u00ador\u00adous\u00adly and that will restore their peace of mind.<\/p>\n

The Aries Moon in Kamala\u2019s chart is in the Eleventh House of social ideals, of her social con\u00adscious\u00adness and con\u00adscience. This means that Kamala\u2019s com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties, the groups, and asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtions that she belongs to and par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpates in are so mean\u00ading\u00adful to her. These com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties and caus\u00ades bring her nur\u00adtur\u00ading and com\u00adfort as she equal\u00adly tries to bring lead\u00ader\u00adship and nur\u00adtur\u00ading to them.<\/p>\n

More\u00adover, the Moon in her chart is oppo\u00adsite to her Mer\u00adcury and that means she ini\u00adtial\u00adly had to strug\u00adgle to inte\u00adgrate what she was feel\u00ading and what she was think\u00ading and speak\u00ading about. Hav\u00ading had to work on this, she prob\u00ada\u00adbly has learned to mas\u00adter the art of weav\u00ading togeth\u00ader her intel\u00adlect and her feel\u00adings, to hold them togeth\u00ader so that her words and ideas can car\u00adry that much fur\u00adther into the mind and hearts of oth\u00aders. But she may still get stuck or stum\u00adble between what she is think\u00ading and what she is feel\u00ading some\u00adtimes, and when unable to over\u00adcome that divide, she might be misunderstood.<\/p>\n

Kamala is for\u00adtu\u00adnate to have her Moon trine her Mars, (and that Mars in her chart is impor\u00adtant and we will come back to that). Mars is her ris\u00ading plan\u00adet, it is the lead plan\u00adet of her chart, and any\u00adbody with the Moon trin\u00ading Mars is some\u00adone who is a \u201cCan Do per\u00adson\u201d, not a \u201cCan\u00adnot Do per\u00adson\u201d; the word no or can\u00adnot is just not part of their DNA<\/span>. Once they set their sights upon a task or mis\u00adsion that is it, they are ful\u00adly ener\u00adgized once they feel strong\u00adly about some\u00adthing, so that they are on it com\u00adplete\u00adly and noth\u00ading will dis\u00adsuade them.<\/p>\n

Kamala approach\u00ades the world like a Gem\u00adi\u00adni because she has Gem\u00adi\u00adni Ris\u00ading. This makes her curi\u00adous and rest\u00adless, and some\u00adtimes provoca\u00adtive or con\u00adtrary. She can see more than one side to an issue, and she relies upon her intel\u00adli\u00adgence and adapt\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty to solve prob\u00adlems and not get stuck.<\/p>\n

The Mid\u00adheav\u00aden of a chart shows the des\u00adtiny or path in life, and for Kamala she has the sign of Pisces on top of her chart. This means that she feels that her life and her life work must have some\u00adthing to do with a mis\u00adsion or greater pur\u00adpose, that it is not about her\u00adself but about the call\u00ading to some task that requires sac\u00adri\u00adfice and dedication.<\/p>\n

Kamala\u2019s ris\u00ading plan\u00adet of Mars is in the sign of Leo. I have men\u00adtioned many times that Mars in Leo is one of the sig\u00adni\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtors found in more US<\/span> President\u2019s charts than any oth\u00ader. Kamala\u2019s Mars in Leo is in a promi\u00adnent posi\u00adtion, and it gives her a Leo qual\u00adi\u00adty of being a fight\u00ader for hon\u00ador and for integri\u00adty. Mars ris\u00ading peo\u00adple embody a war\u00adrior spir\u00adit, it can make them strong, but they need to be care\u00adful in how they wield this pow\u00ader. For Kamala, Mars is placed in her Third House of the Mind and Intel\u00adli\u00adgence, and indi\u00adcates a very sharp and quick mind, and often a very sharp tongue. It is great asset for a debater, it is the per\u00adfect asset for a lawyer because that is where this ener\u00adgy can find a mean\u00ading\u00adful application.<\/p>\n

But she has to learn to be care\u00adful to not over\u00addo or over\u00adwhelm her oppo\u00adnent (or audi\u00adence), and that if she comes across as too strong or to seem to be full of her\u00adself in terms of what she knows or how she wields that pow\u00ader of her mind it could reveal a lack of social grace. Her very intel\u00adli\u00adgence and assertive nature could be turned against her.<\/p>\n

As much as Mars is so impor\u00adtant as her ris\u00ading plan\u00adet, the cul\u00admi\u00adnat\u00ading plan\u00adet in anyone\u2019s chart is also sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant, reveal\u00ading much about their soul and their des\u00adtiny. For Kamala, it is the plan\u00adet Sat\u00adurn in Aquar\u00adius. Sat\u00adurn rules struc\u00adture, real\u00adi\u00adty, insti\u00adtu\u00adtions, and the law. More\u00adover, it is in the Ninth House which rules high\u00ader under\u00adstand\u00ading, the realm of Truth, Sci\u00adence, Phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy, and the Law as well. This place\u00adment shows that Kamala has a great abil\u00adi\u00adty in this life\u00adtime to be mas\u00adter\u00adful in realms of reli\u00adgion and phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy and sci\u00adence and law. As we all know, she was a lawyer and a pros\u00ade\u00adcu\u00adtor, and giv\u00aden Sat\u00adurn in the Ninth house the path of her pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal life makes sense.<\/p>\n

Jupiter is the plan\u00adet that informs and guides our beliefs and our truths, of what we find mean\u00ading\u00adful to us, and forms our inspi\u00adra\u00adtions and moti\u00adva\u00adtions. Kamala has her Jupiter in the sign of Tau\u00adrus, and it is in her Twelfth House. With Jupiter in her 12th<\/sup> House, she can draw upon a well of spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal con\u00adfi\u00addence and under\u00adstand\u00ading from with\u00adin her\u00adself; for Kamala, her faith is cen\u00adtered, deep and abid\u00ading. With her Jupiter in Tau\u00adrus, she makes her way by a very per\u00adsis\u00adtent search for the truth. More\u00adover, Kamala has a firm belief that there are teach\u00adings and val\u00adues that are eter\u00adnal, and this sup\u00adports her opti\u00admism and faith in human\u00adi\u00adty. Because of this sense of last\u00ading val\u00adue, she has a very steady kind of spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal under\u00adstand\u00ading, she lives a faith informed by truth.<\/p>\n

With her Sat\u00adurn in the 9th house, Kamala would have start\u00aded with a cer\u00adtain cultural\/spiritual sys\u00adtem of belief, but then by her own need and through cir\u00adcum\u00adstances, she would have been exposed to and explored oth\u00ader cul\u00adtures, beliefs and paths to Truth. Her Sat\u00adurn \u201ctest in life\u201d is in fact the test of truth, and those with this test even\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly arrive at a place of a more encom\u00adpass\u00ading under\u00adstand\u00ading of Wis\u00addom teth\u00adered to Humil\u00adi\u00adty. Then peo\u00adple like Kamala can help oth\u00ader peo\u00adple under\u00adstand what is true and how to under\u00adstand the way to truth because that has been and remains Kamala\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n

The plan\u00adet Venus in a chart will show what you val\u00adue, what you love, and how you love. For Kamala Venus is espe\u00adcial\u00adly impor\u00adtant because she is a Libra, a sign ruled by Venus. For Kamala, Venus is in the sign of Vir\u00adgo, so even though Kamala is a Libra she real\u00adly wants to be a Vir\u00adgo. Kamala wants to be more at peace, to have a more com\u00adplete under\u00adstand\u00ading of val\u00adue, beau\u00adty, and love by tak\u00ading an ana\u00adlyt\u00adi\u00adcal approach to beau\u00adty and to rela\u00adtion\u00adship. It can make some\u00adone some\u00adwhat of a per\u00adfec\u00adtion\u00adist, but it also makes her more atten\u00adtive to the need for rela\u00adtion\u00adships and part\u00adner\u00adships to be formed with right struc\u00adtur\u00ading so that they are har\u00admo\u00adnious and bal\u00adanced. Venus is a strong indi\u00adca\u00adtor for Kamala, since it is the plan\u00adet that is ris\u00ading before her Sun. With Venus in this posi\u00adtion and Sign, she is led through life by Venus; she seeks to under\u00adstand and heal the pat\u00adterns and con\u00addi\u00adtions of rela\u00adtion\u00adships between part\u00adners and groups of people.<\/p>\n

Mer\u00adcury is the plan\u00adet that rules the mind and our means of com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion, and for Kamala it is in the sign of Scor\u00adpio. So even though Kamala is a Libra, she thinks like a Scor\u00adpio which means with a great insight that always seeks to go deep\u00ader, to remove the veil cov\u00ader\u00ading things that are hid\u00adden. She will not accept things at face val\u00adue but will dive deep\u00ader to find the truth. Kamala\u2019s mind is focused, deter\u00admined and author\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtive since her Mer\u00adcury lines up with her Sat\u00adurn, (just like her Sun). She goes deep\u00ader than most and goes to the heart of the mat\u00adter, so that when she deliv\u00aders that mes\u00adsage, she is com\u00adpelling and persuasive.<\/p>\n

KAMALA<\/span>\/BIDEN<\/span>:<\/p>\n

How do Joe and Kamala\u2019s charts line up with one anoth\u00ader? The most strik\u00ading dif\u00adfer\u00adence between their charts is the Fixed and Watery nature of Biden as com\u00adpared to the Cardinal\/Fixed and Fiery\/Earthy nature of Har\u00adris. Joe will appre\u00adci\u00adate Kamala\u2019s dri\u00adve and ide\u00adal\u00adism, but he will cer\u00adtain\u00adly come across as the more sen\u00adsi\u00adtive and emo\u00adtion\u00adal per\u00adson in their part\u00adner\u00adship. After all, he has the Moon as his Ris\u00ading Plan\u00adet, so Joe is an emo\u00adtion\u00adal and sen\u00adsi\u00adtive type, he will be the heal\u00ader or \u201cEmpathiz\u00ader in Chief\u201d. Kamala has Mars ris\u00ading, she will be the one who is ready for bat\u00adtle, she will be the \u201cWar\u00adrior Woman\u201d.<\/p>\n

One of the most sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant links between two charts is when one person\u2019s Moon aligns with the oth\u00ader person\u2019s Moon, and Kamala\u2019s Moon and Joe\u2019s Moon are con\u00adjunct, and that cre\u00adates a bond of empa\u00adthy and under\u00adstand\u00ading between them. Then Kamala\u2019s Sun (which is oppo\u00adsite to her Moon), is also oppo\u00adsite Joe\u2019s Moon. Here is when we say, \u201coppo\u00adsites attract\u201d. Each will feel that the oth\u00ader per\u00adson is dif\u00adfer\u00adent but in a stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00ading way; in some sense, each will feel that the oth\u00ader bal\u00adances or com\u00adpletes them in some man\u00adner. For Kamala, she will have to come to under\u00adstand Joe\u2019s emo\u00adtion\u00adal nature (which is quite dif\u00adfer\u00adent from hers, he with the Moon in Tau\u00adrus, and her with the Moon in Aries), and Joe will have to accept and enjoy Kamala\u2019s strong per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty, espe\u00adcial\u00adly with her Sun in her Fifth House.<\/p>\n
