Let us turn our atten\u00adtion to the top\u00adic of today, which is actu\u00adal\u00adly two, in that I would like to talk first about Venus and then talk about the nodes of the Moon.<\/p>\n

Ret\u00adro\u00adgrade<\/strong>
\nWhen\u00adev\u00ader Venus turns ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, and like all the plan\u00adets, except for the Sun and Moon which are not plan\u00adets, all plan\u00adets have this qual\u00adi\u00adty of going ret\u00adro\u00adgrade. Which means for our pur\u00adpos\u00ades here on Earth, though all the plan\u00adets go around the Sun in the same direc\u00adtion, they have the appear\u00adance for us on our plan\u00adet to move back\u00adwards against the back\u00addrop of the stars for var\u00adi\u00adous peri\u00adods of time.<\/p>\n

Mer\u00adcury and Venus, being inside the orbit of the Earth to the Sun, they \u201ccatch up\u201d with us on the \u201cinside track\u201d and appear to loop around in space for that peri\u00adod of ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, and then con\u00adtin\u00adue on their mer\u00adry way.<\/p>\n

Then for the Out\u00ader Plan\u00adets, of Mars on out to Plu\u00adto, we will pass them on the \u201cinside track\u201d, so that for a num\u00adber of months or many months, they will also ret\u00adro\u00adgrade. In fact, com\u00ading up this week we have Sat\u00adurn turn\u00ading ret\u00adro\u00adgrade tomor\u00adrow (May 11), we have Venus turn\u00ading ret\u00adro\u00adgrade on Wednes\u00adday the 13th<\/sup>, and Jupiter turn\u00ading ret\u00adro\u00adgrade on the 14th<\/sup>. So, this is a week with a lot of plan\u00adets turn\u00ading ret\u00adro\u00adgrade. I would just like to point out in terms of the out\u00ader plan\u00adets like Sat\u00adurn and Jupiter, it is because they are so close togeth\u00ader now (in the sign of Capri\u00adcorn), that they are going ret\u00adro\u00adgrade at the same time.<\/p>\n

Of course, we are prob\u00ada\u00adbly more famil\u00adiar with Mer\u00adcury going ret\u00adro\u00adgrade since we talk about it more fre\u00adquent\u00adly because it hap\u00adpens more often, at least three times a year. Mars goes ret\u00adro\u00adgrade about every two years, but all the out\u00ader plan\u00adets will ret\u00adro\u00adgrade for sev\u00ader\u00adal months each year.<\/p>\n

Venus Ret\u00adro\u00adgrade<\/strong>
\nFor our pur\u00adpos\u00ades here, when\u00adev\u00ader Venus turns ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, (and it does this about every 19 months, last\u00ading for about 40 days, which is an inter\u00adest\u00ading num\u00adber because that num\u00adber is found in many spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal tra\u00addi\u00adtions), we are giv\u00aden a very spe\u00adcial oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty, I would say, to also turn around, look with\u00adin and re-exam\u00adine our val\u00adues which are inte\u00adgral to our inner sen\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties and for\u00adma\u00adtive of our out\u00ader qual\u00adi\u00adties of being. Those val\u00adues held by the Avatar of Venus form our tastes and sen\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties rang\u00ading from our phys\u00adi\u00adcal plea\u00adsures, aes\u00adthet\u00adic or artis\u00adtic appre\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtions to our per\u00adson\u00adal love and social sen\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties. Venus holds our likes (and dis\u00adlikes) with the things of this world, and with our affec\u00adtions or antag\u00ado\u00adnisms with one another.<\/p>\n

Tru\u00adly Venus, as the instru\u00adment of our order\u00ading or hier\u00adar\u00adchy of val\u00adue, holds us to what we need, what we have and what we want in our life, rang\u00ading from the most basic or phys\u00adi\u00adcal of our appetites on up to the most sub\u00adlime of affec\u00adtions and expe\u00adri\u00adences we have and share with one anoth\u00ader. I like to say, that the heart or bond of all rela\u00adtion\u00adships is our shared val\u00adues, and that if we have enough com\u00admon val\u00adue we will hold togeth\u00ader in good times but espe\u00adcial\u00adly in try\u00ading ones as we have now, as true friends, as sin\u00adcere col\u00adleagues and trea\u00adsured loved ones.<\/p>\n

Dur\u00ading the peri\u00adod of Venus ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, much like dur\u00ading the more famil\u00adiar Mer\u00adcury ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, its nor\u00admal\u00adly out\u00adward\u00adly direct\u00aded ener\u00adgy-forms are turned inward, which means they move from a more or less pure\u00adly sub\u00adjec\u00adtive per\u00adspec\u00adtive or point of view to a more objec\u00adtive place. This gift of Venus ret\u00adro\u00adgrade enables you to become more objec\u00adtive or inward\u00adly focused upon the expe\u00adri\u00adences of val\u00adue in your life. As with Mer\u00adcury ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, but now focused upon the ques\u00adtion of val\u00adue not on how you think, you are able to shift your con\u00adscious\u00adness and con\u00adtem\u00adplate your hier\u00adar\u00adchy of val\u00adue more objec\u00adtive\u00adly, less per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adly so that it is more removed from the cul\u00adtur\u00adal and social assump\u00adtions that you may be unknow\u00ading\u00adly shaped and guid\u00aded by.<\/p>\n

Many of your wants and needs, which arise from your val\u00adues, and ulti\u00admate\u00adly add up to form your val\u00adue of \u201cyou\u201d, many of these have, cer\u00adtain\u00adly at first, been uncon\u00adscious\u00adly incor\u00adpo\u00adrat\u00aded into you through your ear\u00adli\u00adest expe\u00adri\u00adences in your fam\u00adi\u00adly and imme\u00addi\u00adate neigh\u00adbor\u00adhood and cul\u00adtur\u00adal order. In child\u00adhood and then beyond into your teens and even adult\u00adhood, you may believe that you like or want or tru\u00adly need some\u00adthing, because, well, because you always have, and those around you do too.<\/p>\n

But as you con\u00adsid\u00ader these things or expe\u00adri\u00adences of val\u00adue you from a more dis\u00adpas\u00adsion\u00adate and objec\u00adtive place, you may find that your likes and dis\u00adlikes are not so pre-deter\u00admined and fixed at all. You will prob\u00ada\u00adbly dis\u00adcov\u00ader that some or many things you feel or believe you must have, you will upon reflec\u00adtion under\u00adstand that you actu\u00adal\u00adly do not need them at all.<\/p>\n

You will let go or elim\u00adi\u00adnate some things in your life or some activ\u00adi\u00adties or pas\u00adtimes and that this will open a space with\u00adin and around you. You will also real\u00adize that some things or expe\u00adri\u00adences you had not yet con\u00adsid\u00adered mean\u00ading\u00adful or val\u00adued, that you now wish to enjoy and make these parts of your life.<\/p>\n

It is quite prob\u00ada\u00adble that the range of the val\u00adues you hold will move around, as the order that they are in may become rearranged, with some things or expe\u00adri\u00adences in your life mov\u00ading up or down in importance.<\/p>\n

Flow\u00ading from this inner re-order\u00ading will be a new sen\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty and rela\u00adtion\u00adship to the world around you. Most espe\u00adcial\u00adly, this refined\/reformed under\u00adstand\u00ading of the val\u00adue of you and of what you val\u00adue, will help you in your most impor\u00adtant expe\u00adri\u00adence as human, your expe\u00adri\u00adence of val\u00adue that forms your rela\u00adtion\u00adships with one another.<\/p>\n

What we will see over the next six weeks, is that we will all ben\u00ade\u00adfit from a much need\u00aded reassess\u00adment of the nature of our val\u00adues, of what is tru\u00adly more mean\u00ading\u00adful and need\u00aded by each of us and for all of us. For it is our com\u00admon\u00adly shared val\u00adues, the glue of our part\u00adner\u00adships, com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties, regions, nations and the world itself that will be illu\u00admi\u00adnat\u00aded by this oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to re-con\u00adnect to the most impor\u00adtant val\u00adue from which all oth\u00aders are derived, the Love that made this world, and gives us all an undy\u00ading well of val\u00adue, the love we have in Spir\u00adit, and the love we have for one another.<\/p>\n

And, just as a point of infor\u00adma\u00adtion the ret\u00adro\u00adgrade begins on May 13th<\/sup> and runs until June 25th<\/sup>, and the mid\u00adpoint of its cycle is when Venus is pass\u00ading over the Sun, mak\u00ading the Venus\/Sun Con\u00adjunc\u00adtion will occur on June 3rd<\/sup> around 1:45 pm here in New York City. It is said to be a moment where there is an align\u00adment between the Self and val\u00adue of the Self, and so that is when a seed or influ\u00adence might be felt by one and all, and that some\u00adthing has changed and a new under\u00adstand\u00ading is being released.<\/p>\n

It will take some time to under\u00adstand what that is, but it is like a New Moon for Venus with regards to us.<\/p>\n

Lunar Nodes<\/strong>
\nWell then, let us take a look at this oth\u00ader thing that is per\u00adhaps even more obscure for many peo\u00adple. Peo\u00adple may have found in their ses\u00adsions with their Astrologer or read about these things, but what I have found in my prac\u00adtice of Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy, and this is cer\u00adtain\u00adly true for a num\u00adber of Astrologers, is that the insight pro\u00advid\u00aded by the posi\u00adtion of the Moon\u2019s nodes to be quite helpful.<\/p>\n

The Nodes are not phys\u00adi\u00adcal objects. They are formed by the inter\u00adsec\u00adtion of two orbital paths, the orbit of the Moon around the Earth, and the Earth\u2019s orbit around the Sun. So, it is like two cir\u00adcles or ellipses that inter\u00adsect at two points. Unlike the plan\u00adets, the nodes move through the Zodi\u00adac in reverse order, from Aries to Pisces to Aquar\u00adius and so on, and take about 18.6 years to make a com\u00adplete revolution.<\/p>\n

When the Moon in pass\u00ading the North node, it is mov\u00ading over the eclip\u00adtic (the path of the Earth around the Sun) and moves from a lat\u00adi\u00adtude that is South to North; and like\u00adwise, when it reach\u00ades the South Node, it cross\u00ades the eclip\u00adtic again mov\u00ading into South lat\u00adi\u00adtude. Since we are look\u00ading here at the orbits of the Earth to the Sun, and the Moon to the Earth, the nodal axis is said to sym\u00adbol\u00adize or link the pri\u00adma\u00adry rela\u00adtion\u00adship of the two lights in Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy, the Sun and the Moon.<\/p>\n

The Moon in the North\u00adern phase of its month\u00adly cycle is the time for the \u201cbuild\u00ading of ener\u00adgy-forms\u201d or Spir\u00adit, and the south\u00adern pas\u00adsage is the time for reap\u00ading and Mate\u00adri\u00adal\u00adiz\u00ading peri\u00adod. Sow\u00ading and Reap\u00ading, Dhar\u00adma and Kar\u00adma is how I like to describe it.<\/p>\n

Sim\u00adi\u00adlar\u00adly for our pur\u00adpos\u00ades today, as the Nodal posi\u00adtion moves back\u00adwards through the Astro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal Signs for 18.6 years, (and as they do so they move through each of our charts, and through the hous\u00ades of that chart with regards to indi\u00advid\u00adual inter\u00adpre\u00adta\u00adtions), we can obtain valu\u00adable insight about the ongo\u00ading focus of what is or should be our under\u00adstand\u00ading in that time of what is our col\u00adlec\u00adtive Dhar\u00adma and what is our col\u00adlec\u00adtive Karma.<\/p>\n

North Node in Gemini<\/strong>
\nStart\u00ading on May the 5th<\/sup> of 2020, and last\u00ading until Jan\u00adu\u00adary 2022, we now have the North Node of the Moon in Gem\u00adi\u00adni and so the South Node is in Sagit\u00adtar\u00adius. What does this mean for us?<\/p>\n

The North Node in Gem\u00adi\u00adni calls upon us all to focus our spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal devel\u00adop\u00adment upon one of our more remark\u00adable gifts, our fac\u00adul\u00adty of Intel\u00adli\u00adgence, and to use this \u201clamp of con\u00adscious aware\u00adness\u201d in prac\u00adti\u00adcal terms to under\u00adstand our\u00adselves and our world. By doing so, we will be able to find bet\u00adter and more prac\u00adti\u00adcal solu\u00adtions to the issues and prob\u00adlems that we face at this time.<\/p>\n

Equal\u00adly, the South Node in Sagit\u00adtar\u00adius reminds us that our exist\u00ading approach to under\u00adstand\u00ading our real\u00adi\u00adty will always be guid\u00aded by our pri\u00ador expe\u00adri\u00adences, which have been assim\u00adi\u00adlat\u00aded and formed into our the\u00ado\u00adries, sci\u00adence, and oth\u00ader truths. These become our fram\u00ading or our lens\u00ades that we look at the present real\u00adi\u00adty with, because they cre\u00adate and form our present-day assump\u00adtions and view\u00adpoints. These uni\u00adver\u00adsals have become crys\u00adtal\u00adlized into our par\u00ada\u00addigm of beliefs, truths and the abstract prin\u00adci\u00adples that guide us. They reveal and explain what we are encoun\u00adter\u00ading giv\u00aden that frame\u00adwork, but it also means we can\u00adnot see or under\u00adstand what does not fit with those assump\u00adtions. We must remem\u00adber that our con\u00adscious\u00adness is lim\u00adit\u00aded, and we do not know what we can\u00adnot see or under\u00adstand, espe\u00adcial\u00adly if we do not even con\u00adsid\u00ader it possible.<\/p>\n

We should resist the pull of the South Node, (but cer\u00adtain\u00adly not dis\u00admiss what we have learned to date either), because it would have us fall back upon or rest upon our too easy and ready answers, which have been formed by our ulti\u00admate\u00adly self-blind\u00aded and lim\u00adit\u00aded rea\u00adson\u00ading. Because even though this lev\u00adel of Sci\u00adence or Belief or Truth does pro\u00advide a con\u00adtext of mean\u00ading for the phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adna we encounter, they will also lim\u00adit and blind us to what we may need to under\u00adstand in the now. If we only look for what we expect to find and dis\u00admiss what does not fit that pre\u00adsumed view of real\u00adi\u00adty, then we will miss what is \u201cout there\u201d or even \u201cin us\u201d because we have will\u00adful\u00adly cho\u00adsen to ignore it.<\/p>\n

The Gem\u00adi\u00adni North Node is about remain\u00ading curi\u00adous and open. It is about the gift of open obser\u00adva\u00adtion and rely\u00ading more upon Induc\u00adtive Rea\u00adson\u00ading. It requires that we be flex\u00adi\u00adble and agile and adept, by ques\u00adtion\u00ading our assump\u00adtions and remov\u00ading the ten\u00adden\u00adcy to dis\u00admiss what does not fit with our pre\u00adcon\u00adcep\u00adtions. That way we can look at the phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adna of what\u00adev\u00ader we are encoun\u00adter\u00ading with a fresh per\u00adspec\u00adtive, with an open mind and heart.<\/p>\n

The North Node in Gem\u00adi\u00adni reminds us, as does the Sign of Gem\u00adi\u00adni gen\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly, that as the ancient admo\u00adni\u00adtion has it, we must approach the won\u00adder of this uni\u00adverse \u201cwith the eyes of a child and then you will see\u201d. It is by approach\u00ading any mat\u00adter for con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with won\u00adder and open\u00adness, and with\u00adout the pre\u00adcon\u00adcep\u00adtions and assump\u00adtions that blind you to what is the greater real\u00adi\u00adty that you face now, this is what is required now in our journey.<\/p>\n

This win\u00addow of Gem\u00adi\u00adni is about gath\u00ader\u00ading many expe\u00adri\u00adences, many data points, and so you may begin to build a bet\u00adter or new\u00ader set of cor\u00adre\u00adspon\u00addences and con\u00adnec\u00adtions between one thing and anoth\u00ader. By build\u00ading inward\u00adly and out\u00adward\u00adly into an ever more encom\u00adpass\u00ading web of inter\u00adcon\u00adnec\u00adtiv\u00adi\u00adty, you and we will even\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly form a large enough body or col\u00adlec\u00adtion of infor\u00adma\u00adtion that will reveal a new under\u00adstand\u00ading of the order behind it.<\/p>\n

Cer\u00adtain\u00adly, much of what we already under\u00adstand, which has been held and ulti\u00admate\u00adly formed into more or less ever\u00adlast\u00ading truths will remain; there are cer\u00adtain\u00adly some truths that are tru\u00adly eter\u00adnal. But some if not many of the, shall we say, less\u00ader truths as well as less\u00ader cat\u00ade\u00adgories of knowl\u00adedge and mean\u00ading, these will be shaped, per\u00adhaps sharp\u00adened, or couched into a more nuanced order\u00ading of mean\u00ading which will lead to a greater com\u00adpre\u00adhen\u00adsion, a more inclu\u00adsive under\u00adstand\u00ading, and help us stay upon the path that is made of equal parts of wis\u00addom and humil\u00adi\u00adty. The great souls know this: \u201cThe more you know, the more you will bow down to that which is beyond your knowing\u201d.<\/p>\n

This Gem\u00adi\u00adni North Node approach seems rather time\u00adly, as we are cer\u00adtain\u00adly deal\u00ading with a world that is rapid\u00adly chang\u00ading. We find our\u00adselves in a world where our old assump\u00adtions, prac\u00adtices and very our way of life is not only not work\u00ading but is the root of our prob\u00adlem. Many souls around the world under\u00adstand and accept that this way, our way, of liv\u00ading on this plan\u00adet is the cause of this cri\u00adsis, both with regards to the imme\u00addi\u00adate prob\u00adlem of the Covid-19 pan\u00addem\u00adic, but the real chal\u00adlenge, of which the pan\u00addem\u00adic is but a symp\u00adtom, and that is Cli\u00admate Change.<\/p>\n

We are an intel\u00adli\u00adgent species; and many would agree that this is our \u201cring of pow\u00ader\u201d. It has been the means to the mate\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtions of our\u00adselves and our world, but it has equal\u00adly, through\u00adout our jour\u00adney, been an instru\u00adment of destruc\u00adtion and pain too.<\/p>\n

We are here, and we made what we face. The ques\u00adtion is do we under\u00adstand, and will we take respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty for our cre\u00adation? Will we apply our rea\u00adson and under\u00adstand\u00ading in a man\u00adner that is guid\u00aded and informed by our com\u00adpas\u00adsion, humil\u00adi\u00adty, and wis\u00addom? Will we under\u00adstand that our first moth\u00ader, Moth\u00ader Earth, and all her crea\u00adtures great and small, need us to remem\u00adber that we are all relat\u00aded on this Earth.<\/p>\n

Yes, all humans are one fam\u00adi\u00adly, and we all love our mothers.<\/p>\n

But equal\u00adly all life on this plan\u00adet is pre\u00adcious to our Great Moth\u00ader too.<\/p>\n

Life is love; Love is Life.<\/p>\n

Let us love one anoth\u00ader, let us love all that lives.<\/p>\n
