Mer\u00adcury turns ret\u00adro\u00adgrade on July 26th<\/sup>, at 23 degrees of Leo, and turns direct again on August 19th<\/sup> at 11 degrees of Leo. I men\u00adtioned this upcom\u00ading ret\u00adro\u00adgrade in my most recent radio show on Sat\u00adur\u00adday July 21st<\/sup>. Here is the link to that show: Radio Show<\/a>. The expe\u00adri\u00adence you will have with Mer\u00adcury ret\u00adro\u00adgrade depends upon your lev\u00adel of spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal aware\u00adness. To the extent that you know your\u00adself and equal\u00adly under\u00adstand your world, well to that same extent you will expe\u00adri\u00adence a greater mea\u00adsure of free will. You will choose how to meet each day, guid\u00aded by an open mind, a lov\u00ading heart and a cen\u00adtered will.<\/p>\n

If you are more awake and aware, your per\u00adcep\u00adtion and sen\u00adsi\u00adtiv\u00adi\u00adty to the shift\u00ading ener\u00adgies formed by the plan\u00ade\u00adtary influ\u00adences will be held and under\u00adstood as being nei\u00adther harm\u00adful or benef\u00adic for you or any\u00adone else\u2026these uni\u00adver\u00adsal ener\u00adgies \u201cjust are\u201d. It is up to each of us, by rais\u00ading up our self-aware\u00adness to deter\u00admine whether we will live our lives as free or sub\u00adservient to these Winds of the Spirit.<\/p>\n

Many will com\u00adplain over the next many weeks, that Mer\u00adcury ret\u00adro\u00adgrade has brought them into a series of annoy\u00adances, dif\u00adfi\u00adcul\u00adties or even greater harm. But the fault lies not in Mer\u00adcury at all, but in our own fail\u00adure to under\u00adstand and make use of this change in the \u201cAstro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal Weather\u201d.<\/p>\n

When Mer\u00adcury is ret\u00adro\u00adgrade we are offered an oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to shift our nor\u00admal men\u00adtal dis\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtions and con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtions into a more reflec\u00adtive, pen\u00adsive and intro\u00adspec\u00adtive mode. We, like Mer\u00adcury, need to turn back upon our\u00adselves and re-exam\u00adine our minds, to be ever more self-reflec\u00adtive and take this time to recon\u00adsid\u00ader our thoughts, to ques\u00adtion our means and mech\u00ada\u00adnisms of per\u00adcep\u00adtion, and to revise and improve our avenues and tools of com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion too.<\/p>\n

If we do this, we will use this ener\u00adgy shift as it is meant to be expe\u00adri\u00adenced, for self-exam\u00adi\u00adna\u00adtion, repair and renewal.<\/p>\n

Of course, we all live very busy lives, and though it would be nice to take a 3\u2011week break, to go on a retreat or to par\u00adtake in some form of a vision quest, our oblig\u00ada\u00adtions to fam\u00adi\u00adly, com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty and the larg\u00ader world will usu\u00adal\u00adly not allow us to do so.<\/p>\n

But we can take time, every day, maybe as the day begins, and cer\u00adtain\u00adly at the end of each day, (and per\u00adhaps we will find some time dur\u00ading the day too), to pause, turn around and con\u00adsid\u00ader why we are think\u00ading about some\u00adthing in a cer\u00adtain way, why we are writ\u00ading or speak\u00ading with that tone or atti\u00adtude. And, maybe we will under\u00adstand that we can and should try to refine, renew and rebuild our self-under\u00adstand\u00ading. And when we have done this, we can turn out\u00adwards and renew our sacred spaces with one anoth\u00ader by forg\u00ading a bet\u00adter under\u00adstand\u00ading of one anoth\u00ader too.<\/p>\n

For this ret\u00adro\u00adgrade, Mer\u00adcury is mov\u00ading through the sign of Leo. It is focus\u00ading this oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to reset and renew upon our heart, upon how we might bet\u00adter under\u00adstand and live with greater love, hon\u00ador and respect for one anoth\u00ader. Plant the seeds of bet\u00adter tomor\u00adrows by treat\u00ading those before you as you wish to be treat\u00aded too.<\/p>\n

The weath\u00ader is chang\u00ading, and you would be wise to make use of this gift of the Spirit.<\/p>\n

Be wise like the ser\u00adpent, and gen\u00adtle as a dove.<\/p>\n

The path to wis\u00addom is forged in humil\u00adi\u00adty and grace.<\/p>\n

Bow down to Her\u00admes, the mes\u00adsen\u00adger who brings gifts from above.<\/p>\n
