The Mean\u00ading of Amer\u00adi\u00adca, Venus and Jupiter in the USA<\/span> Chart and the Oppo\u00adsi\u00adtion by Saturn<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I thought it would be use\u00adful for lis\u00adten\u00aders of my radio show, and for the read\u00aders of this blog, to have this (more or less) ver\u00adba\u00adtim tran\u00adscript of my last radio show on the USA<\/span>, which aired on Sat\u00adur\u00adday April 7th<\/sup> (which you can lis\u00adten to here<\/a>).  <\/sup><\/p>\n

As I not\u00aded in my 2018 fore\u00adcast<\/a> with regards to the USA<\/span>, Sat\u00adurn will be oppos\u00ading the USA<\/span> Venus and Jupiter dur\u00ading this year as Sat\u00adurn begins its 2.5\u2011year pas\u00adsage through Capri\u00adcorn. More\u00adover, it will move into the mid\u00addle degrees of Capri\u00adcorn in 2019 and align with the USA<\/span> Sun and Sat\u00adurn. In the past 3 such pas\u00adsages of Sat\u00adurn through Capri\u00adcorn, 1988\u201391, 1959\u201362 and 1929\u201332, the USA<\/span> expe\u00adri\u00adenced eco\u00adnom\u00adic chal\u00adlenges, and these led to upsets or rever\u00adsals of polit\u00adi\u00adcal pow\u00ader. Now, a pat\u00adtern does not pre\u00addict the future, but we should con\u00adsid\u00ader why this pas\u00adsage of Sat\u00adurn through Capri\u00adcorn might bring these effects, and more impor\u00adtant\u00adly under\u00adstand what the mean\u00ading and mes\u00adsage is behind this experience.<\/p>\n

Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy can pro\u00advide insight upon almost any con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion or ques\u00adtion, whether indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals, groups or larg\u00ader enti\u00adties. Whether one is exam\u00adin\u00ading cor\u00adpo\u00adrate, nation\u00adal or world\u00adly mat\u00adters astrologers call this branch of astrol\u00ado\u00adgy Mun\u00addane or World\u00adly Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy. The Astro\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal Signs, Plan\u00adets and Hous\u00ades of a chart retain much of their essen\u00adtial indi\u00adca\u00adtions and mean\u00adings, but they must also be adjust\u00aded with respect to what the object of study is.<\/p>\n

For exam\u00adple, the Sun in an individual\u2019s chart indi\u00adcates that person\u2019s essen\u00adtial char\u00adac\u00adter, their pure poten\u00adtial, where\u00adas in a chart of a nation the Sun gov\u00aderns or rules the essen\u00adtial char\u00adac\u00adter of the state, and may also indi\u00adcate the supreme author\u00adi\u00adty or ruler, and the myths or images that the state holds for itself and how oth\u00aders may view it. The Moon in a person\u2019s chart indi\u00adcates their emo\u00adtion\u00adal tem\u00adpera\u00adment and needs, of how they react with\u00adout think\u00ading, where\u00adas in a nation\u2019s chart it rules the mass\u00ades, \u201cthe peo\u00adple\u201d and indi\u00adcates pop\u00adu\u00adlar moods, opin\u00adions and ideologies.<\/p>\n

Today we are will look at the mean\u00ading and mes\u00adsages of Venus and Jupiter in the chart of the USA<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Venus and Jupiter:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The USA<\/span> has its Venus and Jupiter, (and its Sun), in the 7th house, the house of rela\u00adtion\u00adship, and all three are in the Sign of Can\u00adcer. What this indi\u00adcates for the USA<\/span> is that our per\u00adson\u00adal val\u00adues and self-worth (Venus), and our prin\u00adci\u00adples, gen\u00aderos\u00adi\u00adty and good for\u00adtune (Jupiter) and our very being and pur\u00adpose (Sun), is revealed, real\u00adized and ful\u00adfilled in the nature and qual\u00adi\u00adty of our car\u00ading (Can\u00adcer) rela\u00adtion\u00adships to one anoth\u00ader (the 7th<\/sup> House) as cit\u00adi\u00adzens of this coun\u00adtry, and then also exter\u00adnal\u00adly with regards to the nature of our rela\u00adtion\u00adship with the world at large.<\/p>\n

What this real\u00adly means is this: The USA<\/span>\u2019s True Source of Strength and Val\u00adue, Amer\u00adi\u00adca\u2019s great\u00adest strength, (with the two \u201cbenefics\u201d of Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy, Venus and Jupiter, our Val\u00adues and Prin\u00adci\u00adples, in the 7th house of rela\u00adtion\u00adship), is to be found in our abun\u00addant gen\u00aderos\u00adi\u00adty of spir\u00adit towards one anoth\u00ader and the towards the rest of the world. Our strength, our real wealth, lies in our con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00ading con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtion to one another\u2019s self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment, to the pur\u00adsuit of true Happiness.<\/p>\n

I spoke and wrote about this under\u00adstand\u00ading of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness in my show\/blog post\u00ading about the August 2017 Eclipse<\/a>. Here is part of what I stat\u00aded then:<\/p>\n

The True Mean\u00ading of \u201cHap\u00adpi\u00adness\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

But the most curi\u00adous phrase, the one peo\u00adple should con\u00adsid\u00ader care\u00adful\u00adly as to what does it mean, is this \u201cPur\u00adsuit of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness\u201d. Well the true mean\u00ading or deriva\u00adtion of hap\u00adpi\u00adness comes from the Ancient Teach\u00adings or Wis\u00addom, affirmed and restat\u00aded in Greek Phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy by Aris\u00adto\u00adtle, and Locke and Jef\u00adfer\u00adson refer back to this ancient under\u00adstand\u00ading or mean\u00ading or def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtion of hap\u00adpi\u00adness. The word in Greek that defines this notion of hap\u00adpi\u00adness is Eudai\u00admo\u00adnia<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

That word trans\u00adlates lit\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly as \u201cUnion with Good Spir\u00adit\u201d, or what we might call \u201cHuman Flour\u00adish\u00ading\u201d, or most tru\u00adly we would say \u201cHuman Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment\u201d. What Jef\u00adfer\u00adson was say\u00ading is not that peo\u00adple should be allowed to be hap\u00adpy, to just be hap\u00adpy or cheer\u00adful or some\u00adthing like this. He was say\u00ading this a spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal mat\u00adter, and what he was writ\u00ading about and what we are doing here comes from the sto\u00adry of Human\u00adi\u00adty, grow\u00ading and devel\u00adop\u00ading and becom\u00ading ever more self-aware and self-deter\u00admined. What we are try\u00ading to do here, what the true pur\u00adpose and goal of human life is to achieve the Union with one\u2019s High\u00ader Self, to expe\u00adri\u00adence the truth with\u00adin by join\u00ading with what I call the \u201cBeloved\u201d, or the Divine Spark with\u00adin us.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hap\u00adpi\u00adness and Self-Fulfillment<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

What this means for Amer\u00adi\u00adca, is that the foun\u00adda\u00adtion\u00adal val\u00adue of our Nation is that we are try\u00ading to allow and empow\u00ader each per\u00adson to be able to pur\u00adsue their Full Human Poten\u00adtial. In oth\u00ader words, this core prin\u00adci\u00adple of our found\u00ading doc\u00adu\u00adment, and we broke from the King because he was deny\u00ading our right to gov\u00adern our\u00adselves, we could not ful\u00adfill our\u00adselves while being under the rule of a monar\u00adchy, and so we jus\u00adti\u00adfied our break\u00ading free so that we could pur\u00adsue our right to Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment. We estab\u00adlished this as our under\u00adstand\u00ading of the pur\u00adpose of our Ven\u00adture, that the true pur\u00adpose of rela\u00adtion\u00adship is that it must serve human Self-Fulfillment.<\/em><\/p>\n

We have formed our sacred com\u00adpact with one anoth\u00ader, based upon this pledge, that we will ful\u00adfill our poten\u00adtials for and with and through one anoth\u00ader, as we steadi\u00adly move towards and align our\u00adselves with our true and Divine Nature.<\/em><\/p>\n

This is what Jef\u00adfer\u00adson meant by the Pur\u00adsuit of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness, Jef\u00adfer\u00adson meant Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment through Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal Awak\u00aden\u00ading. Which means every choice we make as indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals or as a soci\u00adety, must be ground\u00aded in this sim\u00adple ques\u00adtion: Will this Action or Activ\u00adi\u00adty bring us clos\u00ader to uni\u00adver\u00adsal human self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment or move us fur\u00adther away from it. We make good and bad deci\u00adsions every day, all of us do. But to sup\u00adport our own or oth\u00aders greater self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment is the true goal and way to Happiness.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our found\u00ading as a Nation, was a vol\u00adun\u00adtary agree\u00adment or com\u00adpact with one anoth\u00ader. It was seen by our founders and those who fol\u00adlowed, as the next step in the evo\u00adlu\u00adtion of Spir\u00adit. Accord\u00ading to the Ancient Wis\u00addom, this jour\u00adney of Spir\u00adit can be seen as ever bend\u00ading towards the eter\u00adnal truth embod\u00adied in the mys\u00adtery and pow\u00ader of spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment. For humans in gen\u00ader\u00adal, and for the USA<\/span> in par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar, this state of hap\u00adpi\u00adness is sup\u00adport\u00aded and ful\u00adfilled by our freely formed rela\u00adtion\u00adships with one another.<\/p>\n

The USA<\/span> rep\u00adre\u00adsents in the very nature of how it was estab\u00adlished, by its found\u00ading and foun\u00adda\u00adtion\u00adal doc\u00adu\u00adments, (Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion of Inde\u00adpen\u00addence and Con\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adtion), that the essen\u00adtial char\u00adac\u00adter of the USA<\/span> would be a state found\u00aded not upon blood and soil, not by ref\u00ader\u00adence or alle\u00adgiance to myths of empires and king\u00addoms, and cer\u00adtain\u00adly not be estab\u00adlished as a gov\u00adern\u00adment held and shaped by hier\u00adar\u00adchies of inher\u00adit\u00aded pow\u00ader. Instead, here indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals would freely choose to join in a com\u00adpact and gov\u00adern them\u00adselves. This \u201cRev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion in Gov\u00ader\u00adnance\u201d is beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly affirmed by the idea inscribed upon the Great Seal of the USA<\/span>, and this idea express\u00ades our nation\u00adal mot\u00adto, when the USA<\/span> declared itself to be a \u201cNovus Ordo Seclo\u00adrum\u201d, which means \u201cA New Order for the Centuries\u201d.<\/p>\n

The founders of this nation under\u00adstood that what they were cre\u00adat\u00ading was some\u00adthing new, some\u00adthing hereto\u00adfore unfa\u00admil\u00adiar because it rep\u00adre\u00adsent\u00aded a rad\u00adi\u00adcal break with the past, it was a rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion<\/em>. Here, in this nation, we would come togeth\u00ader and freely deter\u00admine our rela\u00adtion\u00adships with one anoth\u00ader. We would sur\u00adren\u00adder all title and priv\u00adi\u00adleges and stand as equals to one anoth\u00ader; we would be sub\u00adject to no King, or Prince, or Clan or Class. Instead we agreed to come togeth\u00ader as equals and to form a vol\u00adun\u00adtary asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion, and we estab\u00adlished our com\u00adpact with one anoth\u00ader. This sacred com\u00adpact is sealed and pro\u00adtect\u00aded by the one and only true ruler in Amer\u00adi\u00adca, the Rule of Law and our Con\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adtion, (which is why the US<\/span> has Sat\u00adurn (order), in Libra (the scales of jus\u00adtice) in our 10th house (the rul\u00ading author\u00adi\u00adty). In the Unit\u00aded States, the law is King, and no one is above the law.<\/p>\n

Embod\u00adied in our \u201cLaw\u201d are the val\u00adues (Venus) that we have so far evolved, that form and guide our con\u00adduct with one anoth\u00ader per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adly. Those val\u00adues are made into rules (laws) which we have agreed upon, and these are held by the plan\u00adet Jupiter (the ruler of Law), so that we know how we are expect\u00aded to con\u00adduct our\u00adselves with regards to one anoth\u00ader. In oth\u00ader words, we have estab\u00adlished these laws as the crys\u00adtal\u00adlized form of val\u00adues with and between one anoth\u00ader. The essen\u00adtial heart of those val\u00adues, with Venus in Can\u00adcer, is that we would care for one another\u2026and behind that is the spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal truth that we intu\u00aditive\u00adly and lov\u00ading\u00adly under\u00adstand that our own hap\u00adpi\u00adness depends upon, in fact springs from, the well-being and hap\u00adpi\u00adness of our fel\u00adlow broth\u00aders and sisters.<\/p>\n

But unlike some, who believe that those orig\u00adi\u00adnal laws, our first rules, the Con\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adtion, to be a fin\u00adished piece and not to be altered, most of us find that the sto\u00adry of human ful\u00adfill\u00adment is an unfold\u00ading one that is far from over. And, so, we must keep improv\u00ading upon and adding to our val\u00adues and improv\u00ading our rules or laws.<\/p>\n

The Found\u00ading Fathers cer\u00adtain\u00adly knew this work was not fin\u00adished or done with them. They sought to go beyond what had been, yet they could not reach or agree beyond a cer\u00adtain under\u00adstand\u00ading. They strug\u00adgled over issues and did not over\u00adcome some of their own chal\u00adlenges, and so they left it to oth\u00ader gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtions to face the glar\u00ading injus\u00adtices embod\u00adied in our first set of \u201crules\u201d. How could it be otherwise?<\/p>\n

In many ways, as the var\u00adi\u00adous plan\u00adets align over the years with these sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant indi\u00adca\u00adtors of our jour\u00adney, we can see the rise and fall of our path as we find and make our way to forge a bet\u00adter union with one anoth\u00ader, and cre\u00adate the con\u00addi\u00adtions for our \u201clife, lib\u00ader\u00adty and the pur\u00adsuit of happiness\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the chart of the USA<\/span>, it is this con\u00adjunc\u00adtion of Venus and Jupiter in Can\u00adcer in our 7th<\/sup> house, and the sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant tran\u00adsits to these two bod\u00adies (and then to the Sun and Sat\u00adurn), that will mark sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant peri\u00adods in this on-going sto\u00adry of our progress to bring into real\u00adi\u00adty a more spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal real\u00adiza\u00adtion of our oth\u00ader mot\u00adto, e pluribus unum, \u201cOut of Many, One\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sat\u00adurn over Venus\/Jupiter:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every 7 to 8 years, Sat\u00adurn will make a \u201chard\u201d con\u00adtact to the USA<\/span> Venus, Jupiter (and then Sun and Sat\u00adurn), and each time it is reminder that our work of form\u00ading a more per\u00adfect union is far from over. But it is this par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar pas\u00adsage, of Sat\u00adurn in Capri\u00adcorn and oppo\u00adsite to the USA<\/span>\u2019s Venus, Jupiter and then Sun which hap\u00adpens every 28\u201329 years or so, it is this peri\u00adod that elic\u00adits a rather dra\u00admat\u00adic expe\u00adri\u00adence of this ongo\u00ading strug\u00adgle to make real the ide\u00adal that is the USA<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Sat\u00adurn (Real\u00adi\u00adty Prin\u00adci\u00adple) chal\u00adlenge to Venus forces a reassess\u00adment of the val\u00adues that do (or do not), hold us togeth\u00ader, just as these same val\u00adues will hold or not hold a fam\u00adi\u00adly togeth\u00ader in shared sen\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties and love for one anoth\u00ader, (with Venus in Can\u00adcer, the sign of fam\u00adi\u00adly). Then Sat\u00adurn to Jupiter will equal\u00adly chal\u00adlenge the larg\u00ader sys\u00adtems of belief that form our com\u00admon under\u00adstand\u00adings and agree\u00adments as to what con\u00adsti\u00adtutes Real\u00adi\u00adty. Jupiter rules our expe\u00adri\u00adence of Truth, (Philo\u00adsoph\u00adic, Sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adic and Reli\u00adgious). This Sat\u00adurn pas\u00adsage reveals the strength or weak\u00adness of the inter\u00adnal and exter\u00adnal bonds that hold us to one anoth\u00ader, of our shared val\u00adues and beliefs that guide our jour\u00adney to self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment with and through one another.<\/p>\n

Real\u00adly, every 7 to 8 years, and cer\u00adtain\u00adly and more dra\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly every 29 years or so like now, we are faced with the need to con\u00adfront the gap between the ide\u00adal and the real\u00adi\u00adty in our val\u00adues and prin\u00adci\u00adples that form and inform our com\u00adpact with one another.<\/p>\n

But Venus and Jupiter hold addi\u00adtion\u00adal mean\u00adings too, and these con\u00adtribute to oth\u00ader effects that we also expe\u00adri\u00adence with this pas\u00adsage of Sat\u00adurn through Capri\u00adcorn. Venus, con\u00adnect\u00aded with Tau\u00adrus and Libra, also rules the resources of a nation, so finan\u00adcial insti\u00adtu\u00adtions, bankers and farm\u00aders. Jupiter also rules the Nation\u00adal Wealth, and it rules banks, the rich and the gen\u00ader\u00adal finan\u00adcial life of the nation.<\/p>\n

The USA<\/span> is blessed with Venus and Jupiter con\u00adjunct one anoth\u00ader, and these are known in Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy as the \u201cless\u00ader and greater benefics\u201d. The USA<\/span> is tru\u00adly blessed by \u201cgood for\u00adtune\u201d. But just as in a per\u00adson\u00adal chart, good luck is not some\u00adthing one has, it is some\u00adthing one makes. Venus and Jupiter brought togeth\u00ader cre\u00adate good for\u00adtune pre\u00adcise\u00adly because they indi\u00adcate a gen\u00ader\u00adous, boun\u00adti\u00adful nature. It is because togeth\u00ader they cre\u00adate a char\u00adac\u00adter of good will and an abun\u00addant spir\u00adit of gen\u00aderos\u00adi\u00adty. The USA<\/span> has always been a very gen\u00ader\u00adous nation, and as long as con\u00adtin\u00adues to do so, it will be reward\u00aded by the return of good for\u00adtune too.<\/p>\n

But this pas\u00adsage of Sat\u00adurn over this bless\u00ading in the chart for the USA<\/span> is often marked by eco\u00adnom\u00adic down\u00adturns, reces\u00adsions or worse. In a way, just as in an individual\u2019s chart, the pas\u00adsage of Sat\u00adurn like this over Venus can make one feel less valu\u00adable, less loved and lead to loss of val\u00adue inter\u00adnal\u00adly, and to the break\u00ading of rela\u00adtion\u00adships exter\u00adnal\u00adly. Well, here too that will be the larg\u00ader real\u00adi\u00adty of what hap\u00adpens to the USA<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Like\u00adwise, the oppo\u00adsi\u00adtion to Jupiter will also cur\u00adtail the gen\u00aderos\u00adi\u00adty and good\u00adwill for one anoth\u00ader and towards oth\u00ader nations, and our rule of law will be test\u00aded and chal\u00adlenged. When\u00adev\u00ader Sat\u00adurn oppos\u00ades Jupiter for an indi\u00advid\u00adual and in a nation, they will encounter eco\u00adnom\u00adic dif\u00adfi\u00adcul\u00adties, down\u00adturns and upsets.<\/p>\n

And, if his\u00adto\u00adry is any guide, with Jupiter also indi\u00adcat\u00ading the con\u00addi\u00adtions for the ruler of a nation, the last three pas\u00adsages of Sat\u00adurn in Capri\u00adcorn have been accom\u00adpa\u00adnied by a change of polit\u00adi\u00adcal for\u00adtunes in any upcom\u00ading elec\u00adtion. In all three pre\u00advi\u00adous pas\u00adsages, the par\u00adty in pow\u00ader is turned out. The Winds of Spir\u00adit are blow\u00ading stronger now, and eco\u00adnom\u00adic and polit\u00adi\u00adcal change is coming.<\/p>\n

We are remind\u00aded, once again by \u201cSat\u00adurn the Teacher\u201d, that our very own hap\u00adpi\u00adness can only be tru\u00adly expe\u00adri\u00adenced by affirm\u00ading and abid\u00ading in our pledge to one anoth\u00ader as embod\u00adied in our found\u00ading doc\u00adu\u00adments and prin\u00adci\u00adples. Our pledge to one anoth\u00ader is:<\/p>\n

That we will con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adous\u00adly strive to pre\u00adserve and improve our union with one anoth\u00ader, and<\/em>
\nThat we lov\u00ading\u00adly ded\u00adi\u00adcate our lives and for\u00adtunes to the well-being of one and all.<\/em><\/p>\n

In no small mea\u00adsure, we are being asked to remem\u00adber in this year, (and in the next), that our true good for\u00adtune and self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment rests on, depends upon each of us. \u201cWe, the peo\u00adple\u201d, are the truest and great\u00adest trea\u00adsure in this land. The USA<\/span> is great\u00adly enriched by our diver\u00adsi\u00adty of peo\u00adples, for it is from our com\u00adplex webs of rela\u00adtion\u00adships to one anoth\u00ader that we forge our wealth and good fortune.<\/p>\n

We have tak\u00aden a sacred oath in our found\u00ading, \u201c\u2026we mutu\u00adal\u00adly pledge to each oth\u00ader our Lives, our For\u00adtunes, and our sacred Honor.\u201d<\/p>\n

This heart\u00adfelt pledge is root\u00aded in a fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal val\u00adue of Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal Truth, and this is the shin\u00ading bedrock of our New Order for the Centuries:<\/p>\n

True hap\u00adpi\u00adness for any of one of us can only be ful\u00adly real\u00adized through our con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly striv\u00ading for the self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment of one and for all.<\/em><\/p>\n

Yes, we are on the path where Out of many, we are One.<\/p>\n

We, the peo\u00adple are here to love and care for one another,<\/p>\n
