The Meaning of America and the Great Eclipse of August 21, 2017<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Intro<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we are going to con\u00adsid\u00ader the Eclipse that is hap\u00adpen\u00ading on Mon\u00adday August 21st<\/sup>, and what Spiritual\/Astrological mes\u00adsages, mean\u00adings and insights this event offers for you, this coun\u00adtry and the larg\u00ader world.<\/p>\n

Each of us on a jour\u00adney of dis\u00adcov\u00adery and awak\u00aden\u00ading, and many more souls have moved clos\u00ader to the Greater Aware\u00adness that awaits one and all. From the begin\u00adning of time, the Spir\u00adit with\u00adin the human heart has stirred all of us to wake up and to real\u00adize that we are the ones mak\u00ading things hap\u00adpen. That it is why edu\u00adca\u00adtion and crit\u00adi\u00adcal think\u00ading, phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy and sci\u00adence, and meta\u00adphysics and spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty have been essen\u00adtial to this jour\u00adney of Spir\u00adit. At times, these Ways of Know\u00ading have flow\u00adered, and guid\u00aded civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtions and peo\u00adples for many years. We can look to and be inspired by the great teach\u00aders and teach\u00adings in the past, formed into the greater and less\u00ader mys\u00adtery schools of Egypt and Greece and Rome, and the Gnos\u00adtic teach\u00adings in the ear\u00adly Chris\u00adt\u00adian era where they were embraced and then sup\u00adpressed. Those eso\u00adteric teach\u00adings con\u00adtin\u00adued in the work of the Alchemists, Rosi\u00adcru\u00adcians and Masons. This Ancient Wis\u00addom, what is known as the Peren\u00adni\u00adal Teach\u00adings, con\u00adtin\u00adue to be passed down unbro\u00adken from beyond the mists of time, through Antiq\u00adui\u00adty until our (so-called) mod\u00adern period.<\/p>\n

These Uni\u00adver\u00adsal Teach\u00adings have inspired and guid\u00aded and remind\u00aded humans what we are real\u00adly here for. We are not here to amass wealth, or pow\u00ader, or fame, and though we are cer\u00adtain\u00adly in a mor\u00adtal world and we need a home, cloth\u00ading food and many oth\u00ader things to exist here, those things are not our aim, or goal or pur\u00adpose here. At the end of the day, all we take with us, from life to life, are the lessons we have learned in how to be a bet\u00adter human. Our trea\u00adsure is mea\u00adsured by how we treat our plan\u00adet and oth\u00ader life-forms, and most espe\u00adcial\u00adly by the love we have shown to one anoth\u00ader. This is the whole point of life. We are here on this love\u00adly Earth, sur\u00adround\u00aded by beau\u00adty, to become ful\u00adly self-aware, lov\u00ading and cen\u00adtered co-cre\u00adators of creation.<\/p>\n

This Ancient Wis\u00addom is there to remind us and help us, that we, and all of life, are on this jour\u00adney of self-awak\u00aden\u00ading. And, since we are all here now, we quite nat\u00adu\u00adral\u00adly think and feel that \u201cthis\u201d is the crit\u00adi\u00adcal moment, (and it is of course for us). And cer\u00adtain\u00adly, from look\u00ading around us there are many signs that speak to this feel\u00ading that we in are in a time of great import. But you can be sure, that through\u00adout human his\u00adto\u00adry, peo\u00adples in their time felt as we do now, and right\u00adly too. At any moment, a soul can \u201cwake up\u201d, and a \u201cStar\u201d is born in the heav\u00adens so to speak.<\/p>\n

So, there is no time to waste, but we also have plen\u00adty of time too, because we have all being doing this for a very long time indeed.<\/p>\n

But cer\u00adtain\u00adly, we would agree that Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly, Envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adly, Eco\u00adnom\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly, as we wit\u00adness these phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adna and forces com\u00ading togeth\u00ader (or crash\u00ading togeth\u00ader), we would agree and say \u201cWow, this seems like a pret\u00adty big time indeed\u201d, and we feel a greater urgency to get it right, and to steer our lives upon a more pro\u00adduc\u00adtive, lov\u00ading and inte\u00adgrat\u00aded way forward.<\/p>\n

What is an Eclipse?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two times a year, rough\u00adly six months apart, we have a beau\u00adti\u00adful align\u00adment of the Sun, Moon and Earth form\u00ading the Lunar and Solar Eclipses, which quite won\u00adder\u00adful\u00adly show how we are part of an inter\u00adre\u00adlat\u00aded \u201cDance of the Plan\u00adets\u201d, which we know as our Solar Sys\u00adtem. At times, their orbits and planes of motion inter\u00adsect one anoth\u00ader, so that the Sun, plan\u00adets and Moons pass before one anoth\u00ader. Here on Earth these Solar\/Lunar\/Earth align\u00adments, what is so extra\u00ador\u00addi\u00adnary and mys\u00adte\u00adri\u00adous to many, is that often dur\u00ading a Solar Eclipse, with the pas\u00adsage of the Moon across the face of the Sun, that it will do it so per\u00adfect\u00adly that it cov\u00aders the Sun so that only the plas\u00adma of the Sun\u2019s coro\u00adna is vis\u00adi\u00adble to us. If the Moon were slight\u00adly larg\u00ader or small\u00ader, or a lit\u00adtle fur\u00adther away or clos\u00ader, we would not have this dra\u00admat\u00adic show! How did this hap\u00adpen, why is this so?<\/p>\n

We under\u00adstand from the Ancient Wis\u00addom that every\u00adthing is \u201ccon\u00adscious\u201d, that Spir\u00adit which is Life is ever-present through all the hier\u00adar\u00adchies of cre\u00adation, that every\u00adthing from the most semi-con\u00adscious forms of mate\u00adri\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty to the most con\u00adscious\u00adly evolved beings on our plan\u00adet to the most sub\u00adlime forms beyond our human king\u00addom, that every\u00adthing is alive and con\u00adscious and con\u00adtains some form of intel\u00adli\u00adgence. So, from these ancient teach\u00adings and from our intu\u00adition\u00adal know\u00ading, we believe because we know in our minds and in our hearts, that there is a Divine Plan and a Divine Intel\u00adli\u00adgence guid\u00ading every\u00adthing and everyone.<\/p>\n

We under\u00adstand because we know that this Uni\u00adverse is a vast hier\u00adar\u00adchy that is formed, sus\u00adtained and held togeth\u00ader by the One Spir\u00adit, the One Life. That in this vast range of Life-forms and Intel\u00adli\u00adgences, it is said that the human king\u00addom is right there \u201cin the mid\u00addle\u201d of this hier\u00adar\u00adchy, and is under\u00adstood to be a most spe\u00adcial one. We are told, that the Angels long to be us, and Life-forms below us long to human, because we reach in the human king\u00addom this won\u00adder\u00adful expe\u00adri\u00adence of self-aware\u00adness, of self-under\u00adstand\u00ading and there\u00adfore we encounter the great gift and awe\u00adsome respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of \u201cChoice\u201d. We learn, through tri\u00adal and error, step by step, the con\u00adse\u00adquences of our actions, and we learn, hope\u00adful\u00adly over time, to choose what is lov\u00ading, and good for us and for one and all.<\/p>\n

But it takes time, it takes an awful\u00adly long time for humans to do that. There are souls that have reached the end of the Jour\u00adney, like the Bud\u00addha, like Krish\u00adna like Jesus, who achieved full aware\u00adness, what is known as Cos\u00admic Con\u00adscious\u00adness. And, there are souls who are just bare\u00adly wak\u00ading up now, and every\u00adthing in between. But all of us are on that path, and we are all con\u00adnect\u00aded, we have and find our com\u00admon\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty and com\u00admon con\u00adnec\u00adtion in the One Spir\u00adit that we exist and abide in, that sur\u00adrounds us, is us, and per\u00advades the whole Uni\u00adverse. We are that!<\/p>\n

The Truth of the Uni\u00adverse is every\u00adthing is One; and the Great Illu\u00adsion is that every\u00adthing is separate.<\/p>\n

These pro\u00adfound real\u00adiza\u00adtions are also so sim\u00adple. They can be seen and expe\u00adri\u00adenced in their com\u00adplex\u00adi\u00adty too. That out of Noth\u00ading or Non-Being came the One, and pro\u00adceed\u00ading from the One came dual\u00adi\u00adty, and then trip\u00adlic\u00adi\u00adties and so on. From there a whole range of of life-forms, of beings and bod\u00adies came to form all the var\u00adi\u00adous divi\u00adsions, ener\u00adgy-forms, and the dimen\u00adsions of the Hier\u00adar\u00adchy that is Cre\u00adation, and this is infi\u00adnite\u00adly com\u00adplex and very chal\u00adleng\u00ading to tru\u00adly comprehend.<\/p>\n

But I think we should also keep it sim\u00adple, and it is impor\u00adtant that peo\u00adple look at all the uni\u00adver\u00adsal teach\u00adings, from var\u00adi\u00adous civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtions and cul\u00adtures, whether in the Vedas, or in Bud\u00addhism or Chris\u00adtian\u00adi\u00adty, to look at all these teach\u00adings in their eso\u00adteric or Heart teach\u00ading-form, in their essen\u00adtial or root truths, and you will find that they all say the same thing! Because they are all observ\u00ading the same thing, you and I, human\u00adi\u00adty, and then the world around us, we come to see that every\u00adthing is part of this great, beau\u00adti\u00adful Jour\u00adney of Life and Con\u00adscious\u00adness and that we all abide in the One Spirit.<\/p>\n

What mes\u00adsages and guid\u00adance might we obtain from this Eclipse sweep\u00ading across Amer\u00adi\u00adca on Mon\u00adday? Every phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adnal expe\u00adri\u00adence is an oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty for us to respond to with our present lev\u00adel of under\u00adstand\u00ading. We encounter the world and these ener\u00adgies and we respond to it in that moment. When larg\u00ader phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adna like this hap\u00adpen, when in the mid\u00addle of the day the sun \u201cdis\u00adap\u00adpears\u201d, peo\u00adple notice this! In past times they react\u00aded often with great fear and appre\u00adhen\u00adsion, and they would ascribe to these phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adna a neg\u00ada\u00adtive char\u00adac\u00adter, and bad things would prob\u00ada\u00adbly hap\u00adpen as a consequence.<\/p>\n

But the Uni\u00adverse isn\u2019t full of \u201cneg\u00ada\u00adtive\u201d energies\u2026it is just Ener\u00adgy. If we under\u00adstand what it is about, what it is for, we are meant to use that expe\u00adri\u00adence and that ener\u00adgy in a most pos\u00adi\u00adtive and beau\u00adti\u00adful and build\u00ading way.<\/p>\n

But for those who remain more unaware or more \u201cfear-based\u201d or deny our con\u00adnec\u00adtions to one anoth\u00ader they may spin off of that very same ener\u00adgy and see it as a dark, fore\u00adbod\u00ading and neg\u00ada\u00adtive thing. And it becomes neg\u00ada\u00adtive for them. Again, we make our real\u00adi\u00adty by how we under\u00adstand our\u00adselves and the uni\u00adverse around us.<\/p>\n

There is cer\u00adtain\u00adly great anx\u00adi\u00adety and fear in the world and the USA<\/span> at this time. As I have been not\u00ading in many forums, we are mov\u00ading through an end of an age here from 2008 through 2024. There has been great break\u00addowns of the insti\u00adtu\u00adtion\u00adal struc\u00adtures of cul\u00adture and civ\u00adi\u00adliza\u00adtion, from the high\u00adest on down to the local lev\u00adels of soci\u00adety. And when peo\u00adple become con\u00adfused and uncer\u00adtain, they become anx\u00adious and they become fear\u00adful. They need to find some\u00adthing to hold to, to believe in to get them through this time of dis\u00adrup\u00adtion. Some will return to their roots, to tra\u00addi\u00adtions and cul\u00adture that are affirm\u00ading and bind\u00ading and healthy and loving.<\/p>\n

And some may turn to an ide\u00adol\u00ado\u00adgy or belief sys\u00adtem that is about oth\u00ader\u00adness, see\u00ading them\u00adselves as we are this and they are that, and so they make the oth\u00ader as the object and source of their anx\u00adi\u00adety and fear and suf\u00adfer\u00ading. Their solu\u00adtion may come down to the putting oth\u00aders down so as to lift them\u00adselves up, mak\u00ading scape\u00adgoats of those not like them.<\/p>\n

Now this hap\u00adpens repeat\u00aded\u00adly through\u00adout his\u00adto\u00adry, of course. But we are see\u00ading and expe\u00adri\u00adenc\u00ading it more imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly and vis\u00adi\u00adbly now giv\u00aden our means of media and world-wide com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtions, and so we are shar\u00ading these expe\u00adri\u00adences togeth\u00ader in real time. Peo\u00adple are being high\u00adly stim\u00adu\u00adlat\u00aded by local and world events like nev\u00ader before. And, again, it is our chance, chal\u00adlenge and oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty for each of us to choose how I see this, and how I should respond to this.<\/p>\n

So eclipses are these moments when the ener\u00adgies com\u00ading from the Sun, the source of Light and Love for our sys\u00adtem, these ener\u00adgies are altered or mod\u00adu\u00adlat\u00aded by this align\u00ading of Sun, Moon and Earth. In the Solar Eclipse that ener\u00adgy is falling on the Moon, then in a way \u201cburn\u00ading through the Moon\u201d and com\u00ading to the Earth via that mod\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtion. The Moon\u2019s shad\u00adow falls upon the Earth and dark\u00adness descends dur\u00ading the day. By doing this it stirs up the ener\u00adgies that are con\u00adnect\u00aded with that sign which just hap\u00adpens to be Leo for this Eclipse.<\/p>\n

The Mean\u00ading of America<\/strong><\/p>\n

But we need to con\u00adsid\u00ader what this might mean for us here in Amer\u00adi\u00adca. What is strik\u00ading about this eclipse is that it is falling at the very end of Leo, sweep\u00ading across the USA<\/span> from the North\u00adwest to the South\u00adeast, right across the whole of the coun\u00adtry. But in the Chart of the USA<\/span> the Eclipse lands exact\u00adly oppo\u00adsite to the Moon in Aquar\u00adius. What might this mean?<\/p>\n

In a nation\u2019s chart, the Moon rules the peo\u00adple of that land, the feel\u00adings of the peo\u00adple and of a nation. So the Moon real\u00adly holds the notion of what we under\u00adstand or believe our\u00adselves to be as Amer\u00adi\u00adcans, of what mean by being an American.<\/p>\n

That is why I believe that for us this eclipse is remind\u00ading us about \u201cThe Mean\u00ading of Amer\u00adi\u00adca\u201d. But to do that we need to under\u00adstand \u201cwhere\u201d did Amer\u00adi\u00adca come from. Every\u00adthing comes from some\u00adthing, and if you wish to know where you are going and why, you need to under\u00adstand where you came from.<\/p>\n

What many peo\u00adple know, but many more peo\u00adple do not know, is that our rev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion\u00adary war in the 1700\u2019s was pre\u00adced\u00aded in Eng\u00adland by the Great Civ\u00adil War they had from the 1640\u2019s to the 1680\u2019s. It was their \u201crev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion\u201d, and it was bloody, and dis\u00adrup\u00adtive and trau\u00admat\u00adic. Roy\u00adal\u00adist and Par\u00adlia\u00admen\u00adtary forces bat\u00adtled one anoth\u00ader. The King was cap\u00adtured, he was impris\u00adoned, and they even\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly chopped off his head! Par\u00adlia\u00adment ruled instead of the King, but it devolved and descend\u00aded into a rule by dic\u00adta\u00adtor\u00adship by a man named Oliv\u00ader Cromwell. Even\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly, the monar\u00adchy was restored but with much stronger con\u00adtrols and over\u00adsight by parliament.<\/p>\n

From that great tur\u00admoil, from that world turned lit\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly for them upside down, all the found\u00ading fathers of Amer\u00adi\u00adca come out of that expe\u00adri\u00adence, and all the spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal and intel\u00adlec\u00adtu\u00adal strug\u00adgles over what that meant, over what is gov\u00adern\u00adment, and how should it be formed, because they lit\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly lived in a time of anar\u00adchy and then the restor\u00ading of gov\u00adern\u00adment, they thought through these ques\u00adtions. This was dur\u00ading the peri\u00adod known as \u201cThe Enlight\u00aden\u00adment\u201d, from the late 1600\u2019s into the ear\u00adly 1800\u2019s. There were many great thinkers and philoso\u00adphers of that time, who looked back to the great teach\u00adings of the ages, back to Greece and Rome, as well as to the mys\u00adti\u00adcal and eso\u00adteric teach\u00adings for guid\u00adance like in the order of the Masons.<\/p>\n

The Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion of Independence<\/strong><\/p>\n

The prin\u00adci\u00adple author of our Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion of Inde\u00adpen\u00addence, Thomas Jef\u00adfer\u00adson, looked to the writ\u00adings of the polit\u00adi\u00adcal philoso\u00adpher John Locke (1632\u20131704) for guid\u00adance and inspi\u00adra\u00adtion. When we look to the words, phras\u00ades and con\u00adcepts he chose as he wrote our dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion, we need to know that he chose his words very care\u00adful\u00adly. If we want to know how we began, and to know who we real\u00adly are, we need to under\u00adstand what these famil\u00adiar but mis\u00adun\u00adder\u00adstood words real\u00adly mean if we are to under\u00adstand the \u201cMean\u00ading of America.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion is our Found\u00ading Doc\u00adu\u00adment, and when we declared our sep\u00ada\u00adra\u00adtion from the monar\u00adchy, from \u201cour\u201d king, from that polit\u00adi\u00adcal enti\u00adty, and we decid\u00aded that we would \u201cgov\u00adern our\u00adselves\u201d, to form a gov\u00adern\u00adment of \u201cself-gov\u00adern\u00adment\u201d. Well, that was tru\u00adly \u201crev\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion\u00adary\u201d. Up until this time in his\u00adto\u00adry, the hier\u00adar\u00adchies of polit\u00adi\u00adcal orders were based on Trib\u00adal\u00adism, Ances\u00adtry, Eth\u00adnic\u00adi\u00adty or of a Place, and the ruler\u00adship was deter\u00admined most\u00adly by Hered\u00adi\u00adty, a line of suc\u00adces\u00adsion and by con\u00adquest. But here, we would come togeth\u00ader declar\u00ading our\u00adselves to be behold\u00aden to no prince or king or emper\u00ador, that we would form a sacred com\u00adpact with anoth\u00ader and we agreed to pledge our\u00adselves to all be sub\u00adject to this con\u00adtract, bound to one anoth\u00ader by our self-deter\u00admined laws. In Amer\u00adi\u00adca, the Law would be King.<\/p>\n

So, the most crit\u00adi\u00adcal and well-known phrase in our Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion reads like this:<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>We hold these truths to be self-evi\u00addent, that all men are cre\u00adat\u00aded equal, that they are endowed by their Cre\u00adator with cer\u00adtain unalien\u00adable Rights, that among these are Life, Lib\u00ader\u00adty and the pur\u00adsuit of Happiness.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When we hear those words, we might sim\u00adply think that \u201cLife\u201d means life, to have a liv\u00ading, and we might think that \u201cLib\u00ader\u00adty\u201d means hav\u00ading free\u00addom and own\u00ading prop\u00ader\u00adty, and \u201cHap\u00adpi\u00adness\u201d, means just being hap\u00adpy. But this is not what those words meant and are meant to mean. When we look at Life, or Lib\u00ader\u00adty and espe\u00adcial\u00adly that phrase the \u201cpur\u00adsuit of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness\u201d, what do they real\u00adly mean?<\/p>\n

Life in this con\u00adtext does not mean to be alive. Since all of Cre\u00adation is Mind, and every\u00adthing has some mea\u00adsure of intel\u00adli\u00adgence asso\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded with it, for Jef\u00adfer\u00adson know\u00ading this, Life meant that we need to have the right to think freely, to devel\u00adop our con\u00adscious\u00adness and aware\u00adness to grow spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly. And Lib\u00ader\u00adty is about the Will, about our exer\u00adcise of our Free Wills. And yet, by that we must equal\u00adly acknowl\u00adedge and respect the Wills of oth\u00aders, because each of us is a spark of the divine, each of us exists in our sacred space, and we can only exer\u00adcise our will to the extent we do not deny the sacred space of another.<\/p>\n

The True Mean\u00ading of \u201cHap\u00adpi\u00adness\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

But the most curi\u00adous phrase, the one peo\u00adple should con\u00adsid\u00ader care\u00adful\u00adly as to what does it mean, is this \u201cPur\u00adsuit of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness\u201d. Well the true mean\u00ading or deriva\u00adtion of hap\u00adpi\u00adness comes from the Ancient Teach\u00adings or Wis\u00addom, affirmed and restat\u00aded in Greek Phi\u00adlos\u00ado\u00adphy by Aris\u00adto\u00adtle, and Locke and Jef\u00adfer\u00adson refer back to this ancient under\u00adstand\u00ading or mean\u00ading or def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtion of hap\u00adpi\u00adness. The word in Greek that defines this notion of hap\u00adpi\u00adness is Eudai\u00admo\u00adnia<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That word trans\u00adlates lit\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly as \u201cUnion with Good Spir\u00adit\u201d, or what we might call \u201cHuman Flour\u00adish\u00ading\u201d, or most tru\u00adly we would say \u201cHuman Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment\u201d. What Jef\u00adfer\u00adson was say\u00ading is not that peo\u00adple should be allowed to be hap\u00adpy, to just be hap\u00adpy or cheer\u00adful or some\u00adthing like this. He was say\u00ading this a spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal mat\u00adter, and what he was writ\u00ading about and what we are doing here comes from the sto\u00adry of Human\u00adi\u00adty, grow\u00ading and devel\u00adop\u00ading and becom\u00ading ever more self-aware and self-deter\u00admined. What we are try\u00ading to do here, what the true pur\u00adpose and goal of human life is to achieve the Union with one\u2019s High\u00ader Self, to expe\u00adri\u00adence the truth with\u00adin by join\u00ading with what I call the \u201cBeloved\u201d, or the Divine Spark with\u00adin us.<\/p>\n

Hap\u00adpi\u00adness and Self-Fulfillment<\/strong><\/p>\n

What this means for Amer\u00adi\u00adca, is that the foun\u00adda\u00adtion\u00adal val\u00adue of our Nation is that we are try\u00ading to allow and empow\u00ader each per\u00adson to be able to pur\u00adsue their Full Human Poten\u00adtial. In oth\u00ader words, this core prin\u00adci\u00adple of our found\u00ading doc\u00adu\u00adment, and we broke from the King because he was deny\u00ading our right to gov\u00adern our\u00adselves, we could not ful\u00adfill our\u00adselves while being under the rule of a monar\u00adchy, and so we jus\u00adti\u00adfied our break\u00ading free so that we could pur\u00adsue our right to Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment. We estab\u00adlished this as our under\u00adstand\u00ading of the pur\u00adpose of our Ven\u00adture, that the true pur\u00adpose of rela\u00adtion\u00adship is that it must serve human Self-Fulfillment.<\/p>\n

We have formed our sacred com\u00adpact with one anoth\u00ader, based upon this pledge, that we will ful\u00adfill our poten\u00adtials for and with and through one anoth\u00ader, as we steadi\u00adly move towards and align our\u00adselves with our true and Divine Nature.<\/p>\n

This is what Jef\u00adfer\u00adson meant by the Pur\u00adsuit of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness, Jef\u00adfer\u00adson meant Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment through Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal Awak\u00aden\u00ading. Which means every choice we make as indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals or as a soci\u00adety, must be ground\u00aded in this sim\u00adple ques\u00adtion: Will this Action or Activ\u00adi\u00adty bring us clos\u00ader to uni\u00adver\u00adsal human self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment or move us fur\u00adther away from it. We make good and bad deci\u00adsions every day, all of us do. But to sup\u00adport our own or oth\u00aders greater self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment is the true goal and way to Happiness.<\/p>\n

This must be our Guid\u00ading Prin\u00adci\u00adple, this true def\u00adi\u00adn\u00adi\u00adtion of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness must be our bea\u00adcon, if we are to be tru\u00adly hap\u00adpy and cre\u00adate a soci\u00adety that cel\u00ade\u00adbrates and sup\u00adports the Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal Ful\u00adfill\u00adment for one and for all.<\/p>\n

What does this eclipse mean for the USA<\/span>?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In terms of what is hap\u00adpen\u00ading right now, and look\u00ading at the chart of the USA<\/span> which was cre\u00adat\u00aded when our Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion was made pub\u00adlic, to see what this eclipse might mean for us, we find that this eclipse is falling at the very end of Leo and oppo\u00adsite to the Moon in our nation\u00adal chart. The Moon rep\u00adre\u00adsents the peo\u00adple of a coun\u00adtry. Because the USA<\/span> Moon is in Aquar\u00adius, we have posit\u00aded that what is most essen\u00adtial and nec\u00ades\u00adsary for us is the need to cre\u00adate and pre\u00adserve a \u201cspace of free\u00addom\u201d for one and all. This makes per\u00adfect sense giv\u00aden the mean\u00ading Hap\u00adpi\u00adness, that our Free\u00addom is required so that we as self-aware beings may be ful\u00adfilled to pur\u00adsue what we have ide\u00adal\u00adized, which is our true hap\u00adpi\u00adness or the good that comes through our Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment. We are try\u00ading to cre\u00adate ever bet\u00adter spaces of free\u00addom so that we may become who we tru\u00adly are with and through one anoth\u00ader. We are here to lift one anoth\u00ader to greater and greater Self-Fulfillment.<\/p>\n

With the Eclipse casting\/burning this Shad\u00adow of the Moon and Leo onto the Earth, it brings to bear even more strong\u00adly the Les\u00adson of Leo, and the Kar\u00adma of Leo. Either you are grow\u00ading and devel\u00adop\u00ading in the pos\u00adi\u00adtive forms of Leo ener\u00adgy-forms, or the shad\u00adow side takes over.<\/p>\n

The Les\u00adson of Leo<\/strong><\/p>\n

The les\u00adson of Leo as I under\u00adstand it, is learn\u00ading about the truth that at the core of us is the spark of the Divine. What is found here, in the Heart of Leo, is the uncon\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal love of the High\u00ader Self for the self, resid\u00ading in all of us. When you come into con\u00adtact with that, you are filled with true love for your\u00adself, and equal\u00adly for one anoth\u00ader, because you now know and under\u00adstand that this same Divin\u00adi\u00adty is in every oth\u00ader too.<\/p>\n

You appre\u00adci\u00adate your\u00adself as \u201cspe\u00adcial\u201d, but appre\u00adci\u00adate every\u00adone else in their spe\u00adcial\u00adness too. This unique sense of self comes from your Quin\u00adtes\u00adsence, your spe\u00adcial spark of the Divine at the heart of every being. What makes every\u00adone alike yet also dif\u00adfer\u00adent, is that we are all one with this Divine Cen\u00adter, yet we are unique instances of this Divine Love.<\/p>\n

We all want Respect, we all want to be and to see our\u00adselves Tru\u00adly, and to real\u00adize this we have to be true for one anoth\u00ader. Every\u00adone wants to be seen and loved for who they tru\u00adly are. Hence, we are here to \u201cShine\u201d for one anoth\u00ader, to love and respect one anoth\u00ader. And by doing this, we lead by exam\u00adple, we encour\u00adage and inspire oth\u00aders to bring forth their bet\u00adter, fin\u00ader natures. This is what it means to be a \u201cLeader\u201d, this is what it means to Love, and this is what leads to true Self-Ful\u00adfill\u00adment. And we need one anoth\u00ader for this. And this is the Heart and Soul of Leo.<\/p>\n

But the Shad\u00adow Side, and often the shad\u00adow side can be kicked up or elicit\u00aded in those who are not ready to take the next step, who have been liv\u00ading in fear, have not under\u00adstood the true source and nature of love in their life, at all or in this life. What hap\u00adpens to them is that have a fear (and appar\u00adent real\u00adi\u00adty) of being unloved, and being dis\u00adre\u00adspect\u00aded and not being appre\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded. So that if they fail to tru\u00adly see them\u00adselves and love them\u00adselves, when they look for \u201cthat look\u201d in the other\u2019s eyes, that sign of love that they are look\u00ading to see com\u00ading back to them, they can\u00adnot and will not see it, because they can\u00adnot see it in themselves.<\/p>\n

That per\u00adson then becomes instead Envi\u00adous, Jeal\u00adous, and they puff them\u00adselves up and become Brag\u00adgarts and Bul\u00adlies. They may try to force respect and belit\u00adtle oth\u00aders to feel some sort kind of twist\u00aded self-love and self-impor\u00adtance. They demand it, and they demand loy\u00adal\u00adty, and def\u00ader\u00adence, but they show no respect and they have no humil\u00adi\u00adty. They real\u00adly do not feel; they only emote. They try to take or buy or steal what they want, and they call that \u201cLove\u201d, but it is not love. It is fear com\u00ading out of self-loathing, and it ends up destroy\u00ading that per\u00adson as it harms many around them too.<\/p>\n

So, this Eclipse will elic\u00adit these very dif\u00adfer\u00adent effects depend\u00ading upon each person\u2019s devel\u00adop\u00adment. It will stir great and greater love in many peo\u00adple; but for those who are more bro\u00adken it may set them off in a more neg\u00ada\u00adtive way, of feel\u00ading less\u00ader and try\u00ading to com\u00adpen\u00adsate by putting oth\u00aders down.<\/p>\n

The Great Fixed Star Regulus<\/strong><\/p>\n

What we find also is that this Eclipse is aligned with one of the Great Fixed Stars in Astrol\u00ado\u00adgy, the Star Reg\u00adu\u00adlus which is locat\u00aded at the end of Leo. This is star is known as the \u201cWatch\u00ader of the North\u201d, and is one of the four stars found at the so-called Four-cor\u00adners of our por\u00adtion of Space. These Fixed Stars aligned with impor\u00adtant ele\u00adments in someone\u2019s chart are said to indi\u00adcate or con\u00adfer some great bless\u00ading or pow\u00ader, but if the les\u00adson of that star is not under\u00adstood, the indi\u00advid\u00adual will fall from grace.<\/p>\n

Reg\u00adu\u00adlus is said to be the Heart of the Lion, and its mean\u00ading and mes\u00adsage is linked to sto\u00adry of a myth\u00adi\u00adcal King of Per\u00adsia, Feridum. He was a pros\u00adper\u00adous king but lost his king\u00addom when he engaged in revenge. All these Roy\u00adal Stars promise great poten\u00adtial and suc\u00adcess as long as some par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar human neme\u00adsis is avoid\u00aded. With Reg\u00adu\u00adlus, the issue is that of \u201crevenge\u201d. If this Star is strong in any chart this temp\u00adta\u00adtion will be that individual\u2019s test.<\/p>\n

So, we might ask our\u00adselves does this Eclipse and Reg\u00adu\u00adlus line up in any par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar chart? It most cer\u00adtain\u00adly ener\u00adgizes the US<\/span> Chart, but it is oppo\u00adsite to the Moon and there\u00adfore more direct\u00aded toward that. I would say for us in the USA<\/span>, we will be expe\u00adri\u00adenc\u00ading this greater les\u00adson of Leo remind\u00ading us that as we focus and cen\u00adter our Social Con\u00adscious\u00adness and Con\u00adscience (from our Moon in Aquar\u00adius), that we need to recon\u00adsid\u00ader more tru\u00adly our com\u00adpact with one anoth\u00ader in our col\u00adlec\u00adtive pur\u00adsuit of Life, Lib\u00ader\u00adty and the Pur\u00adsuit of Hap\u00adpi\u00adness. We need to help one anoth\u00ader to expe\u00adri\u00adence a fuller mea\u00adsure of Self-Expres\u00adsion, Cre\u00adativ\u00adi\u00adty and Love and Respect (from Leo) as the way in which we may more tru\u00adly ful\u00adfill our mot\u00adto, \u201cOut of many, One.\u201d The ques\u00adtion will be how do we cre\u00adate, but to remem\u00adber to do so in social\u00adly mean\u00ading\u00adful and sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant ways, and so help one anoth\u00ader to achieve more self-ful\u00adfill\u00adment indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly and col\u00adlec\u00adtive\u00adly too.<\/p>\n

But what about a par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar person\u2019s chart? When\u00adev\u00ader we are look\u00ading at a nation\u2019s chart we will often look at the leader\u2019s chart to gain insight into what is hap\u00adpen\u00ading too.<\/p>\n

Don\u00adald Trump<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been writ\u00ading in the blog, and speak\u00ading in the radio show about Don\u00adald Trump\u2019s chart, and I have said that this month of August was going to be one of the most crit\u00adi\u00adcal for him this year. Not only has he just had anoth\u00ader pas\u00adsage of Plu\u00adto over his Jupiter (his test of Will with Truth and Law), but he is also expe\u00adri\u00adenc\u00ading Sat\u00adurn going over his Moon twice in this month, (indi\u00adcat\u00ading that he is at a very low point both emo\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adly and phys\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly). And one of those Sat\u00adurn pass\u00ades over his Moon is exact tomor\u00adrow, August 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

But this very eclipse is lin\u00ading up with his chart too! Trump is born with Leo Ris\u00ading, and his Mars is in Leo just inside his 12th<\/sup> house. The Eclipse lands on his Mars and Ascen\u00addant. The Ascen\u00addant rules your pres\u00adence in the world, it is how you meet the world. And the ques\u00adtion would be for any\u00adone, are you being authen\u00adtic or not. And Mars rules desires and actions; it is there to serve your \u201cself\u201d as you assert your\u00adself. But with Mars in his 12th<\/sup> house Trump prefers to act in the back\u00adground, in the shad\u00adows, hid\u00ading what he is real\u00adly doing, and con\u00adceal\u00ading his real inten\u00adtions. When unde\u00advel\u00adoped, a per\u00adson with Mars in Leo in the 12th<\/sup> house is full of fear, but will mask that with bul\u00adly\u00ading and brava\u00addo. If he is not care\u00adful, his own actions will lead to his own self-undo\u00ading, and ulti\u00admate\u00adly lead to his fall from grace or pow\u00ader and even poten\u00adtial\u00adly face some form of imprisonment.<\/p>\n

As astrologers, we would argue that this Eclipse will elic\u00adit this chal\u00adlenge to him and he will have to stand in the Shad\u00adow and Light of Leo and answer as to whether he is abid\u00ading in the Truth of Leo or not. More\u00adover, con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ading that his Ascen\u00addant and Mars are aligned with Reg\u00adu\u00adlus, promis\u00ading great fame and pow\u00ader, the ques\u00adtion will be put to him as to whether he has avoid\u00aded the per\u00adil of revenge.<\/p>\n

Giv\u00aden Trump\u2019s his\u00adto\u00adry of how he has con\u00adduct\u00aded him\u00adself in the busi\u00adness world, and now as a \u201cpub\u00adlic ser\u00advant\u201d, Kar\u00adma would seem to be lead\u00ading him to a reck\u00adon\u00ading that he has forged for himself.<\/p>\n

Unlike oth\u00aders who have been ele\u00advat\u00aded to this office before, it appears that Trump has not been hum\u00adbled by the majesty and respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of the pres\u00adi\u00adden\u00adcy.
