The Bud\u00addha \u2014 The Path of Enlight\u00aden\u00adment, The Path of Love<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It seems quite appar\u00adent to many if not most of us, that we are going through a time of great Polit\u00adi\u00adcal, Eco\u00adnom\u00adic, and Cul\u00adtur\u00adal Cri\u00adsis. The Warp and Weave of our world seems to be com\u00ading undone, and the pre\u00adservers of our way of life, the very insti\u00adtu\u00adtions that we expect to embody and pro\u00adtect our very lives and loves are buck\u00adling and bend\u00ading. There is a grow\u00ading cho\u00adrus for some answer, some solu\u00adtion that will secure a way out of these shad\u00adows and fears that grow longer every day, we yearn to find a path\u00adway for\u00adward to a bet\u00adter time and place.<\/p>\n

It is clear to most of us that the divi\u00adsions with\u00adin and the divides between var\u00adi\u00adous indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals and groups is at the heart of all our \u201ctrou\u00adbles\u201d. The fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal cause of our fears and woes, is to be found in our seem\u00ading loss of com\u00admon\u00adly held mean\u00adings or truths by which to find our way out of these length\u00aden\u00ading fear-filled shad\u00adows. We grow increas\u00ading\u00adly anx\u00adious and des\u00adper\u00adate for the gift of ever\u00adlast\u00ading light, we long for truth and love to shine upon us once more, so that we might bind our wounds and bring us \u201ctogeth\u00ader as one\u201d once more.<\/p>\n

Fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adly, we are (yet again) in a time of a great spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal cri\u00adsis. We have been here before\u2026and the great good news is that our ances\u00adtors found their way through in their time of unrav\u00adel\u00adling too. The answer to our woes does not lie \u201cout there\u201d. It is not to found in some polit\u00adi\u00adcal reform, or eco\u00adnom\u00adic pro\u00adgram, or as some mod\u00adernists may hope, in a tech\u00adno\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal \u201cdeus ex machi\u00adna\u201d, that will pull us back from the deep\u00aden\u00ading dark\u00adness and doom. The answer to our self-cast shad\u00adows of doubts and fears is not out\u00adside of us at all.<\/p>\n

No, the answer always lies with\u00adin, in each and every human heart. What we require, as always, is a spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal return to \u201csource\u201d. We need to remem\u00adber: \u201cfrom whence have we come, and why are we here, and where are we going\u201d. We need to restore our\u00adselves to our soul\u2019s true pur\u00adpose, to remem\u00adber our true spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal nature and so calm our minds and heal our hearts.<\/p>\n

We can do this wher\u00adev\u00ader and when\u00adev\u00ader we need to, by a return to our spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal source found in the ever\u00adlast\u00ading waters of life, in the spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal heart found in every speck and mote of cre\u00adation, and so equal\u00adly in the heart of each and every one of us. These Liv\u00ading Truths are also beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly pre\u00adserved and passed down in the great teach\u00adings of the Mas\u00adters or Great Souls who peri\u00adod\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly come forth to remind us again of these immutable truths and of our true nature.<\/p>\n

Yes, we need to remem\u00adber that the answers to all our trou\u00adbles were revealed long ago. Many of these Seers and Teach\u00aders are unrec\u00adog\u00adnized and name\u00adless to us, known by many appel\u00adla\u00adtions but per\u00adhaps the best for me is their title as \u201cThe Lone\u00adly Ones\u201d. For they worked (and still work) \u201cin the shad\u00adows\u201d, qui\u00adet\u00adly doing the work of Spir\u00adit where it is need\u00aded most, ask\u00ading for noth\u00ading but to serve.<\/p>\n

But some were des\u00adtined to stand pub\u00adlicly in the Halls of His\u00adto\u00adry as exem\u00adplars, as pil\u00adlars of Strength and Truth, and we hon\u00ador and revere these Great Souls to this day: Con\u00adfu\u00adcius, Lao-Tzu, Zoroast\u00ader, Pythago\u00adras, Christ, and the one we con\u00adsid\u00ader today, The Buddha.<\/p>\n

The fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal teach\u00adings that form the Ancient Wis\u00addom, are found in the life and work of each of these mes\u00adsen\u00adgers. All came to reaf\u00adfirm and restate the Ancient Truths. They did not come for or intend to \u201cstart\u201d a reli\u00adgion, that was left to less\u00ader souls. They came not ask\u00ading for devo\u00adtions or prayers to be offered up to them, for they need them not. They came to remind you that we are all on the same path of ful\u00adfill\u00adment as they fol\u00adlowed. Their life and work is a reminder to us that we are all here for one thing only\u2026we must all, every one of us, we must each wake up and be ful\u00adly human too.<\/p>\n

That is why you can and should both lis\u00adten to your own heart and fol\u00adlow their exam\u00adple too. You are to here to ful\u00adfill your\u00adself and help one anoth\u00ader to cre\u00adate bet\u00adter lives that are formed and guid\u00aded by Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal Truth. A tru\u00adly human life is guid\u00aded by Uncon\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal Love, by kind\u00adness\u00ades and con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtions, because it embraces the Liv\u00ading Faith that we are all the \u201cones of the One\u201d.<\/p>\n

We are the cre\u00adators of this World and of our\u00adselves and for one anoth\u00ader too, and it is our true pur\u00adpose, duty and spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal ful\u00adfill\u00adment to make life bet\u00adter for one and all. Because this is \u201cThe Teach\u00ading\u201d that springs from your heart and from the Wis\u00adest of the Wise: you are insep\u00ada\u00adra\u00adble, you are all one, so that,<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>What you do to the least of these, you do to me, the One\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You are here quite sim\u00adply to Love one anoth\u00ader. This sim\u00adple yet pro\u00adfound Spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal Truth is the Foun\u00adtain-Source, the well\u00adspring for all our Moral Imper\u00ada\u00adtives towards one anoth\u00ader, and in fact to all of Cre\u00adation too.<\/p>\n

Among these \u201cGreat Souls\u201d, the Bud\u00addha is held to be most spe\u00adcial. He is said to have been \u201cthe first\u201d of our human type to find the path to self-illu\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion. He came and showed us how we can free our\u00adselves from the illu\u00adsion of mat\u00adter and form. He lived his life and shared the wis\u00addom that Life is Spir\u00adit, and Spir\u00adit is Life.<\/p>\n

The fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal core of the Buddha\u2019s teach\u00ading in the Ancient Wis\u00addom is this: The essence of Spir\u00adit is to become, to evolve or real\u00adly to release from with\u00adin the divine nature behind the form. Thus, the first fact of exis\u00adtence is Change, or as the Bud\u00addha stat\u00aded, the \u201cLaw of Impermanence\u201d.<\/p>\n

Every\u00adthing that exists, from the build\u00ading blocks of atoms, to the atoms them\u00adselves, to ele\u00adments and mol\u00ade\u00adcules, to min\u00ader\u00adals, plants, ani\u00admals, humans, plan\u00adets and stars, in fact all of Cre\u00adation, all of these pass through the same cycle of exis\u00adtence: Begin\u00adning or Birth, growth, decline and the death of that form\u2026and then Rebirth into the next form.<\/p>\n

This is the essen\u00adtial eso\u00adteric mean\u00ading of the Scor\u00adpio Full Moon; it is the dynam\u00adic inter\u00adplay or Jour\u00adney of Ever\u00adlast\u00ading Val\u00adue or Spir\u00adit-Life (Tau\u00adrus) evolv\u00ading cease\u00adless\u00adly through the hier\u00adar\u00adchy of Mor\u00adtal Forms (Scor\u00adpio). It is the old sto\u00adry of Spir\u00adit \u201cfalling into\u201d mat\u00adter and striv\u00ading to return to its home with the One; yet equal\u00adly this is the Jour\u00adney of Spir\u00adit mov\u00ading through all these forms of Mat\u00adter which lifts or evolves those mor\u00adtal ves\u00adsels into ever more ethe\u00adre\u00adal\u00adized forms.<\/p>\n

This is the Dance of Spir\u00adit; this is the Song of Life. Spir\u00adit is One and Undi\u00advid\u00aded; Life is the Eter\u00adnal mov\u00ading through ever more rar\u00adefied forms. Though there are many, many forms, there is only one Spir\u00adit. Mat\u00adter cre\u00adates the Illu\u00adsion of Diver\u00adsi\u00adty and Separation.<\/p>\n

Awak\u00aden\u00ading-Enlight\u00aden\u00adment shat\u00adters the divi\u00adsion between the Know\u00ader and the known. The indi\u00advid\u00adual dew\u00addrop or spark of the Divine rejoic\u00ades in Cos\u00admic Con\u00adscious\u00adness, swim\u00adming through the Ocean of Life-Spirit-Consciousness.<\/p>\n

You are on the path of Immor\u00adtal\u00adi\u00adty; mov\u00ading through count\u00adless worlds, forms and lives.<\/p>\n

Cel\u00ade\u00adbrate tonight, as you watch the Sun set and your Moon rise; this is the dance of spir\u00adit, this is your dance too.<\/p>\n

Know that Spir\u00adit is Beau\u00adty, and Beau\u00adty is Truth; that these are Eter\u00adnal, as is the spark of the Divine that is the true heart of you.<\/p>\n

The Les\u00adson of the Bud\u00addha is to flow, to not hold or attach one\u00adself to any par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar form of your\u00adself, for these forms are not you.<\/p>\n

Yes, live life as it is\u2026Flowing, Grow\u00ading and ever Awakening.<\/p>\n

Whether you are with a friend for one sub\u00adlime after\u00adnoon, or with your love for many, many heart-filled years, your time togeth\u00ader is pre\u00adcious and so you should give of your\u00adself to one anoth\u00ader, share all that you can\u2026because you know this, this is part of the bar\u00adgain you made in mov\u00ading into mor\u00adtal realms, you must also part from one anoth\u00ader too.<\/p>\n

But your love will hold you, keep you for one anoth\u00ader, to the end of time. Your love will hold you to one anoth\u00ader for Eter\u00adni\u00adty. So, when you must you will smile, and just say to one anoth\u00ader, \u201cfare thee well my love, until next time\u201d.<\/p>\n

The promise of the Full Moon of Scor\u00adpio is the Age\u00adless Wis\u00addom, it is your Free\u00addom from fear. For death has no hold over we Immortals:<\/p>\n

We are ones of the One, and we are made by love.<\/p>\n

We are ones of the One, and we are here for love.<\/p>\n

We are ones of the One, and we are here to love.<\/p>\n

Remem\u00adber, when\u00adev\u00ader you are in need, or you have some doubt or feel you may even suc\u00adcumb to fear, remem\u00adber always, that you are nev\u00ader alone and have noth\u00ading to fear.<\/p>\n

With\u00adin you is the One, your high\u00ader self, and you are equal\u00adly held by the love of the Wise Ones, the Lone\u00adly Ones and by all with whom you journey.<\/p>\n

Cel\u00ade\u00adbrate a fel\u00adlow one, who showed you the way, let us give thanks to the Buddha!<\/p>\n

Remem\u00adber, you are on the path, be not afraid.<\/p>\n

Have Faith, give of your\u00adself and remain Cen\u00adtered in the Truth that is Love.<\/p>\n

Give thanks, and with all the Wise Ones tonight, repeat the Great Invocation:<\/p>\n

THE<\/span> GREAT<\/span> INVOCATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

From the point of light with\u00adin the Mind of God<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let Light stream forth into our minds<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let LIGHT<\/span> descend on Earth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the point of love with\u00adin the Heart of God<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let Love stream forth into our hearts<\/strong><\/p>\n

May LOVE<\/span> increase on Earth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the cen\u00adter where the Will of God is known<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let pur\u00adpose guide our wills<\/strong><\/p>\n

The PURPOSE<\/span> which the mas\u00adters know and serve.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the cen\u00adter which we call Humanity<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out<\/strong><\/p>\n

And may it seal the door<\/strong><\/p>\n
