At each step you find mean\u00ading with\u00adin your world view or per\u00adson\u00adal uni\u00adverse; even though you tru\u00adly exist in a much more com\u00adplex \u201cMul\u00adti\u00adverse\u201d. At each lev\u00adel you oper\u00adate with some degree of belief (and cer\u00adtain\u00adty) that this is the way it is<\/em>.<\/p>\n Then along comes an event, expe\u00adri\u00adence or some\u00adthing that does not fit\u2026and you lose your certainty.\u2026you become con\u00adfused<\/em>.
