Do oppo\u00adsites attract? That\u2019s the ques\u00adtion you face today as Venus (Beau\u00adty &<\/span> Love) oppos\u00ades Mars (Desire &<\/span> Dri\u00adve). They make this aspect, giv\u00aden Mars\u2019 rough\u00adly 2 year orbit, every 2 years or so.<\/p>\n

Venus rules val\u00adue; it is what you \u201cwant\u201d. Mars rules action; it is how you (try) to get what you want! So it will appear as if you are in some kind of con\u00adflict between what you want and how you are going after it. Cer\u00adtain\u00adly it is a moment for many rela\u00adtion\u00adships to step back and make sure that what is shared and agreed to (Val\u00adues) is being sup\u00adport\u00aded by the actions of each oth\u00ader. Venus is mov\u00ading through the sign of com\u00adpas\u00adsion and empa\u00adthy (Pisces) while Mars is in the sign of dis\u00adcern\u00adment and align\u00adment (Vir\u00adgo). It seems as if the uni\u00adverse is pulling you in oppo\u00adsite direc\u00adtions; you seem\u00ading\u00adly must choose between being car\u00ading or crit\u00adi\u00adcal, to be for\u00adgiv\u00ading or judgmental\u2026<\/p>\n

And so it may play out with each per\u00adson tak\u00ading one side of this false dichoto\u00admy, hold\u00ading up one end and pro\u00adject\u00ading the oth\u00ader side onto their part\u00adner. The prob\u00adlem may seem to be \u201cout there\u201d between you and you, (and there is some truth to that), but the real chal\u00adlenge, the path of spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal growth through under\u00adstand\u00ading, will always be found with\u00adin. So you must turn the ques\u00adtion back with\u00adin your\u00adself and face your chal\u00adlenge of choice\u2026<\/p>\n

But of course you can\u00adnot \u201cchoose\u201d; you have only one \u201cchoice\u201d if you are to walk the path of truth which is to find your way to com\u00adbine these ways into one true way, your way of being the two togeth\u00ader. Each plan\u00adet and each sign is meant to inform, shape and bring nuanced under\u00adstand\u00ading to the other\u2026for it is only togeth\u00ader, in this bal\u00adanced aware\u00adness, that you can walk the noble path, the one true path of the spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal war\u00adrior (who\u2019s \u201cbat\u00adtle\u201d is always within).<\/p>\n

Venus is in Pisces, where she finds her high\u00adest expres\u00adsion in uncon\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal com\u00adpas\u00adsion\u00adate love. But as a result, (since very few have entered this self-mas\u00adtered, tran\u00adscen\u00addent state), it makes you more like\u00adly to ere on the side of sur\u00adren\u00adder\u00ading too much, sac\u00adri\u00adfic\u00ading what should not be sac\u00adri\u00adficed, and so harm\u00ading your\u00adself (and doing lit\u00adtle good for the oth\u00ader as well, as you become part of the prob\u00adlem). Like\u00adwise, Mars is in Vir\u00adgo where he finds him\u00adself delight\u00ading in the per\u00adspic\u00adu\u00adous analy\u00adsis and sub\u00adse\u00adquent actions that lead you from con\u00adfu\u00adsion to clar\u00adi\u00adty, from chaos to ordered con\u00adtent\u00adment. But with the oppo\u00adsi\u00adtion there is the very real risk that your rapi\u00ader-like mind and voice will not heal but wound, not bind togeth\u00ader but rend apart one from anoth\u00ader. Mars needs a lit\u00adtle more com\u00adpas\u00adsion (Venus in Pisces) so that your scalpel of wit and rea\u00adson is wield\u00aded with the most gen\u00adtle of inten\u00adtions and effect.<\/p>\n

This is the mes\u00adsage of their oppo\u00adsi\u00adtion today; that you should not be pulled apart from one anoth\u00ader nor divide your\u00adself from your Self either. You can\u00adnot choose between feel\u00ading and rea\u00adson. Instead you must find that bet\u00adter way of blend\u00ading togeth\u00ader your heart and mind so that the great\u00adest good is made pos\u00adsi\u00adble for you and the oth\u00ader too. <\/p>\n
