“Once upon a time…”

That is how you began to under­stand, and how you will return home some­day. When you became self-aware, when you rose from inno­cence to self-con­scious­ness you became a sto­ry-teller, a keep­er of knowl­edge and a shar­er of wis­dom, and this marked the quick­en­ing of the divine with­in you. This is when you joined that sacred com­pa­ny, a pro­ces­sion of lumi­nous hosts who are con­scious co-cre­ators of Cre­ation too.

We have been sto­ry­tellers for a very, very long time. In sagas and songs, while hunt­ing and gath­er­ing, while plant­i­ng or reap­ing, when sit­ting around the camp­fire or break­ing bread togeth­er. We shared our expe­ri­ences with one anoth­er, we informed and reformed one anoth­er, and that is how we are the very instru­ments of awak­en­ing for one another.

We told our sto­ries and deep­ened our under­stand­ing of the world and of one anoth­er. We passed on by sounds, sym­bols and signs, in songs and sci­ence, in phi­los­o­phy and com­mon sense too. We dis­cov­ered and re-dis­cov­ered the sto­ry of us, the sto­ry of spirit.

And, most pre­cious­ly and lov­ing­ly, we were able to sip from the cup of Wis­dom offered by those who had come this way long ago. We laughed and cried and shared with one anoth­er, and as we woke up, we moved out of the dark­ness and into that divine space of the Creator…We began to con­scious­ly re-make our­selves and our world too.

Your jour­ney is found­ed upon a path of awak­en­ing, of mov­ing from unself-con­scious aware­ness to ful­ly formed Cos­mic Con­scious­ness. Yes, you have come a very long way, but you have fur­ther to go before you will be wel­comed into the Celes­tial com­pa­ny known as the Mas­ters of Com­pas­sion and Contemplation.

You have just com­plet­ed anoth­er ardu­ous pas­sage through the realm known as Scor­pio, where your mor­tal body and Immor­tal Soul meet in the cru­cible of Union with your beloved. You sought to bridge the seem­ing divide between your­self and one anoth­er. You faced the absolutes with­in and around you, of Dark­ness and Light, of Death and Re-birth and you were left speech­less by the agony and joy of your jour­ney, an Immor­tal who moves through these very mor­tal realms.

When­ev­er (and wher­ev­er in your chart) you find your­self in the realm of Scor­pio, you are able to lift the Veil of Isis and expe­ri­ence a lit­tle more of the mys­tery of Cre­ation. There are no words when you walk this razor’s edge of Life and Death. When you are in the In-Between, when you expe­ri­ence the Void and the Full­ness as One you are left speech­less, and this is how it should be. You stand in the pres­ence of that which is beyond what you can under­stand, and you must bow your head and wait for a greater understanding.

Today you move into the Realm of Sagit­tar­ius, the realm of Phi­los­o­phy, Sci­ence and Reli­gion, and the Real­i­ty-Truth that stands behind them all. These form the Tem­ple of Light, and you will learn from ancient sages and mod­ern-day sci­en­tists, and you will give thanks to great schol­ars and your hum­ble fel­low seek­ers too. You will seek and search in ancient writ­ings and find they are echoed in mod­ern-day texts and tales. What is true does not change, it is only your under­stand­ing which becomes deep­er and more encom­pass­ing, and this will remind you that this gift of wis­dom is forged through the deep­en­ing of your humility.

And some of these truths, the most sacred, will be relayed in sto­ries whis­pered from “mouth to ear”, (for there are some things that may not be writ­ten down even now). From each of these paths you will even­tu­al­ly find your way to the one Eter­nal Path that holds them all. Yes, as you begin to awak­en, as your knowl­edge turns to the “Greater Under­stand­ing”, which is forged by Uncon­di­tion­al Love and held firm by your Cen­tered Will, you will enter that pre­cious realm that illu­mi­nates the fir­ma­ment like a Rib­bon of Light. Yes, you will enter the Inner Sanc­tum, the “holy of holies” formed by the Sages and Seers of the Ancient Wisdom.

For you must know this, you are not the first to come this way, and your civ­i­liza­tion is not the finest nor the high­est that has ever been. There are many great souls who have come this way before, who also strug­gled to lift the shad­ows from their minds and hearts and reach for the light as do you. They found, as you will too, that the truth “out there” was only able to be seen because it was equal­ly with­in their very own nature too.

There is but One Spir­it, One Life, and the One Force bind­ing all to all which is Love. That is why you can and will under­stand, and you will sep­a­rate the wheat from the chaff dur­ing your jour­ney to the Light, because your Intu­ition and Mind will align to the truth with­in and around you, for “as Above, so Below”.

Today you begin to find your words and now you can tell your sto­ry. But know this, you must even more impor­tant­ly lis­ten to the count­less sto­ries of many, many oth­ers too. For this is how you refine your under­stand­ing, and how they refine theirs. Each of your dis­cov­er­ies and insights is only made pos­si­ble by your shar­ing, com­par­ing, con­trast­ing, cor­rect­ing and so mak­ing bet­ter your sto­ries with, by and for another.

This is your path of Truth. You can­not be you with­out one another.

You need one anoth­er because you have become who and what you are because of their sto­ries, as they need you because all your sto­ries have made them too.

It is time to gath­er together.

It is time to sing, and dance and break bread together.

It is time to tell our sto­ries to one another.

It is time to be thank­ful for one another.

It is time to remem­ber the Wis­dom of Love.

Peace of Mind

What I like to call “The Dance of the Plan­ets”, is cer­tain­ly evi­dent today! Venus, which has been sail­ing back­wards for over 40 days through Scor­pio, and more recent­ly Libra, turns Direct today; and, with­in hours of that shift Mer­cury turns ret­ro­grade for 21 days, until Decem­ber 6^th. It is not often that you will expe­ri­ence a dou­ble-shift of plan­e­tary motions like this, so you would be wise to con­sid­er what these mod­u­la­tions mean for you.

The 42 days of Venus ret­ro­grade were a time to go with­in your­self, a pause to allow you to dig deep into the nature of your expe­ri­ence of Val­ue, Beau­ty and Love. Venus is your Avatar of Love and she reminds you that with­in you is a Super­nal Light, which you will equal­ly see as the light shin­ing through the eyes of those who love you too.

With Venus ret­ro­grade, you were offered anoth­er oppor­tu­ni­ty to con­sid­er the true nature and source of your Val­ue, which is that you are a spark of the Divine and your true worth or val­ue is beyond mea­sure; and to see that what is all around you, this radi­ant world of Beau­ty, is shin­ing pre­cise­ly because that same Divine ener­gy sparkles through the entire­ty of Cre­ation; and, to know that what is there with­in you, what you know and feel as the Love of the One, is equal­ly a guide for you as to how you must be with one anoth­er, for you are here quite sim­ply to love one anoth­er as you are loved too.

The les­son of Venus ret­ro­grade reminds you that “true love” is nev­er to be found “out there”, until you have met your beloved with­in you. Until you expe­ri­ence the inner mar­riage of your self with your Self, you can­not tru­ly see or find the love that is all around you too.

Now that Venus is mov­ing for­ward once again, you are ready to relate to your­self and your world with a new-found assur­ance of your own val­ue, which is beyond ques­tion­ing since you are formed by spir­i­tu­al love; and you have a bet­ter under­stand­ing and appre­ci­a­tion for the beau­ty in your world; and, you are more aware that the love you share with one anoth­er is the whole rea­son for this life, for you are tru­ly here for one another.

But today you will equal­ly feel a shud­der, shake (and you will have to roll), as Mer­cury paus­es and turns around one more time this year. Yes, yes it seems that when­ev­er this hap­pens life seems to get even more com­pli­cat­ed, con­fus­ing and frus­trat­ing. Although it seems “the grem­lins are let loose” dur­ing such a time, you should know by now that your fate is in your hands, and it is not Mercury’s pur­pose to mess with your life.

The rea­son life seems to become more chal­leng­ing at times like these is because you have failed to notice the chang­ing con­di­tions of your own mind, and equal­ly failed to appre­ci­ate how the gen­er­al men­tal­i­ty and nature of com­mu­ni­ca­tions have been altered. You are here to “Wake Up” and so you need to pay atten­tion to these shifts of ener­gy-forms and work with them. Mer­cury ret­ro­grade is here to help you. It is here to help you to let go of your mis­un­der­stand­ings, doubts and fears which have pre­vent­ed you from liv­ing in the Greater Reality.

On the heels of re-eval­u­at­ing your expe­ri­ence of val­ue, beau­ty and love in Venus Ret­ro­grade, you will now be asked to con­sid­er once more the way in which you think about your­self and your world. That is what Mer­cury ret­ro­grade is for. It is meant to be a time of intro­spec­tion and reflec­tion; it is a pre­cious oppor­tu­ni­ty for review and repair of your per­cep­tions and consciousness.

If we lived in a cul­ture that accept­ed and accom­mo­dat­ed these shifts of spir­i­tu­al ener­gy, then we would all make time to calm­ly go with­in and earnest­ly con­sid­er how we make our real­i­ty through our thoughts. We would be able to bend our thoughts back upon our­selves and be more self-crit­i­cal and self-aware, as we qui­et­ly con­sid­ered and re-cen­tered our mentality.

But we live in a cul­ture that is careen­ing from one cri­sis to anoth­er, and we work hard­er and hard­er, live faster and faster, and there seems no time to catch one’s breath, let alone time to con­tem­plate, step back and con­sid­er what is real­ly hap­pen­ing. We are all “in the moment”, but we are rarely present or pre­pared to make the best of it before the next shock to our equi­lib­ri­um is upon us. But you must remem­ber this, the only thing you can and must con­trol is your­self, and this starts with your mind.

Mer­cury ret­ro­grade offers you a time to pause pre­cise­ly because you can­not “go for­ward” eas­i­ly now, because you are sup­posed to “go in” now before you “go out”. You need to reflect and col­lect your thoughts and become clear­er and calmer.

Right Think­ing is some­thing to work for, strive for and it is essen­tial in times like these so that you may sep­a­rate the wheat from the chaff in your world. This is tru­ly some­thing that you should do every sin­gle day. A self-aware per­son, a more cen­tered and bal­anced indi­vid­ual, will begin every day with men­tal prepa­ra­tions of attune­ment and align­ment; and then they will hold them­selves in qui­etude and self-obser­va­tion through­out the day; and then they will fin­ish their day with a time for review of what was right or wrong in that day, and so pre­pare to meet the world with a clear­er con­scious­ness tomorrow.

The way to do this, the way to begin to estab­lish your mind in a place of peace, is to anchor your mind upon the firm foun­da­tions of fun­da­men­tal truths. Whether West­ern or East­ern, the Peren­ni­al Truths are the same the world over and they will pro­vide com­fort and guid­ance no mat­ter what is trou­bling you today.

This is the true mean­ing and mes­sage of Mer­cury ret­ro­grade in Sagit­tar­ius; it is time to return to the bedrock of Truth found in all great teach­ings. Turn away from the noise and chat­ter, away from mere opin­ions and half-truths. Do not enter­tain these nor pass them on. Your mind is your sacred tem­ple for under­stand­ing, and your mind must be clear and not shad­owed by fear.

Return to the sources of Wis­dom, which you feel and know to be true because all these sacred sto­ries of spir­it are there in your heart as they are writ­ten for you in the stars above too.

With your Mind tru­ly open, and your heart full of Love.

May you be wise as a ser­pent, and gen­tle as a dove.

The Tem­ple of Truth

At the heart of every teach­ing, like a riv­er of light, there abides an ever-last­ing stream of con­scious­ness, known to the Keep­ers of the Flame, as the Hier­ar­chy of the Shin­ing Ones. These Shin­ing Ones or Devas are the Lords of Med­i­ta­tion and Cos­mic Wisdom.

This is Truth: Cre­ation, all of it, from the most infin­i­tes­i­mal to the Stars and Galax­ies and beyond, all of it, all of “That” is alive and shin­ing. The whole of Cre­ation is self-lumi­nous because it is formed by the One Spir­it, by the Light of Divine Con­scious­ness. This Cre­ation is in turn shaped by the Mind, Love and Will of the innu­mer­able many ones who togeth­er form the radi­ant body of the One.

The very rea­son you can under­stand any­thing at all is because this entire Cre­ation, all that is around you, that which you seek to expe­ri­ence as real and true in your world, this is also the very same Ener­gy-Form that makes you too. That is why you can know and under­stand because, “I am That, I am”.

Through all the King­doms and Hier­ar­chies of Cre­ation it is under­stood that all of it, all of “That”, is part of the One Life, which from the high­est to the low­est is formed, “As above, so below; as inward­ly, so out­ward­ly”. You are here because you are part of the One Life, you are here as a mon­ad of Spir­it, you are the “Self-That-Is-Becom­ing”. You are here quite sim­ply “to live and learn and grow” into your full Divin­i­ty. This jour­ney of becom­ing requires of you to know who and what you are, and to remem­ber why you are here.

If you wish to lift the “Veil of Isis”, if you wish to remove the scales from your eyes and know the truth of all of “That”, well there are many ways and many paths that will bring you into the “Greater Under­stand­ing”. But there is one cer­tain path of awak­en­ing that begins in your heart and holds you in the warmth of the ever­last­ing light of the One. The gen­tle guid­ance of your high­er self has but one sim­ple but pro­found assur­ance, and the cer­tain path that will lead you out of dark­ness and into the light is sim­ply to fol­low the great injunc­tion, “Know Thyself”.

Today Jupiter returns home, to its very own Sign of Sagit­tar­ius, today Jupiter returns to the sacred Tem­ple of Truth. For over the past twelve months, Jupiter has been mov­ing through the Sign of Scor­pio, what I like to call the space in which we encounter the truth behind all less­er truths: “You are an Immor­tal, but you move through Mor­tal Realms”.

In Scor­pio, you move into that mys­te­ri­ous place of alche­my where two become one, where you let go of the less­er with­in you in order to grow into your great­ness togeth­er. It is in this sacred space that you expe­ri­ence Re-Birth by true sac­ri­fice, and so become even truer to your­self too. But in such a realm of the high­est heights and the deep­est depths, you will find that in this sacred space of Union that you are ren­dered mute, there are no words for what you encounter here.

In Scor­pio you meet the mys­ter­ies of Birth and Life, and so-called Death as you move through count­less Rebirths; you find you are hum­bled and ren­dered speech­less, word­less, by expe­ri­ences that take you beyond your low­er mind of this or that and into the space of Intu­ition­al Know­ing or “Heart-Mind”, which is not teth­ered to dual­i­ty. But, because of this expe­ri­ence, of find­ing your­self in this unfa­mil­iar space there are “no words”, there can be no know­ing of what you have just expe­ri­enced just yet. Instead you face the eter­nal Dual­i­ties pro­pelling down your Path and you ask your­self, “Am I Faith­ful or Fear­ful”, for now you know your Immor­tal­i­ty and Mor­tal­i­ty too, and the greater truth that holds them to one anoth­er, and you will come to know you are here to be both yet beyond them too.

But now, today, you enter the Space of Sagittarius…and here you “will find your words”. Here in the realm of Eter­nal Truths and the Halls of Wis­dom you will stretch your mind and heart to com­pre­hend. You will read a great nov­el or book on phi­los­o­phy; you will lis­ten to wise ones who have equal­ly found their humil­i­ty, and you will mar­vel at mod­ern sci­en­tif­ic dis­cov­er­ies, and mar­vel even more how they echo what was known thou­sands of years before. You will trav­el in your mind and by your body, and most impor­tant­ly and rev­er­ent­ly, you will lis­ten to that qui­et voice with­in you, as you seek to align what is with­in and around you to move beyond the known into the great unknown…and yet, oh yes, it is also eeri­ly, yet reas­sur­ing­ly, so very famil­iar too.

You will find your words, so you can share your sto­ry with one anoth­er, and they will share theirs with you. You will walk togeth­er, break bread togeth­er and do what we have done for thou­sands and thou­sands of years…you will tell one anoth­er sto­ries. You will drink from the Cup of Wis­dom and add your fair mea­sure too into this Liv­ing Tem­ple of Truth. For this is how it is done.

All that we have, all that is around us in arts and cul­ture, in civ­i­liza­tion and refine­ments, in com­mu­ni­ties and mean­ing­ful­ness is because we have laughed and cried, shared and imag­ined, and built and re-built with one anoth­er time and time again. We owe all of this to our capac­i­ty to learn from one anoth­er, to share and dis­cuss and argue and rea­son with one anoth­er, for this is how we learn to do bet­ter, this is how we become bet­ter, and by this we may dis­cov­er and estab­lish what is tru­ly true.

We find our truth out there, because it is mir­rored most per­fect­ly in our inner sanc­tum of self. Because those very same truths that shape our hearts and minds and love for one anoth­er have formed our world and this uni­verse too. All you are asked to do is open your mind and open your heart and you will see the Light.

Jupiter is mov­ing into Sagittarius…

It is time to tell your sto­ries to one another.

It is time to drink from the Well of Wisdom.

It is time to stand in the Light of the Greater Understanding.

It is time to Live for and by the Truth.

At play in the Fields of the One…

It is time to face the Truth. You are on a nev­er-end­ing jour­ney of Spir­it-Life-Con­scious­ness, mov­ing through worlds, forms and lives; it is a jour­ney of unfold­ment and self-becom­ing that takes you from a mere spark of unself-con­scious divin­i­ty to a ful­ly awak­ened co-cre­ator of Creation.

But the ques­tion remains, who are you? It is nat­ur­al to look upon one­self and it seems quite sim­ple real­ly; you perceive/experience your body and it is that which defines the con­tent and cir­cum­fer­ence of your nature. You per­ceive the truth as, “I am this; and you are that.” But you are here to learn that this is one of the most impor­tant illu­sions you have fall­en into by tak­ing on this mor­tal form.

You are not this body, oh no, you are much more than this…You are a host of ener­gy-forms, a weav­ing of fields that togeth­er form what you know as your­self. And most impor­tant­ly, and equal­ly, you are mak­ing your way through innu­mer­able fields of ener­gy-forms around your­self too. For this is the nature of the One True Real­i­ty; it is not com­posed of dis­crete things or parts. You are a sparkling field of ener­gy-forms who with innu­mer­able oth­ers moves through the lumi­nous “Fields of Life and Love” that is the One.

Real­i­ty is a Field, it is “the One”, who is in turn com­posed and formed by the many less­er wholes rang­ing from the fields known as atoms and mol­e­cules and ele­ments and com­pounds, to plants, crea­tures, worlds and stars. All of these are not as you imag­ine or per­ceive; all of these are not “things” or “par­ti­cles” as seen in the Atom­istic view. In the Ancient Wis­dom as in the New Sci­ence, all of real­i­ty is formed by sys­tems, a great Hier­ar­chy of Wholes; what is real is not a thing, but instead it is vibra­tions or waves. Tru­ly, Cre­ation is “the Word” made man­i­fest; this beau­ti­ful melody of Light is the Song of Spirit.

Real­i­ty is formed by this Hier­ar­chy of wholes. Each less­er whole, (in human terms, one such as your­self), is seem­ing­ly dis­crete for itself, but it abides in, as it is informed and shaped by all the greater and more encom­pass­ing wholes (for exam­ple of fam­i­ly, friends, com­mu­ni­ties). These innu­mer­able wholes in every king­dom or realm, like wheels with­in wheels, ulti­mate­ly resolves into the holi­est of wholes, the One.

That is why, whether approach­ing this ques­tion from “the West” with Quan­tum Physics, or from “the East” and the Ancient Teach­ings, Real­i­ty is under­stood as a Field of Wholes that form a com­plex array of rela­tion­ships with one anoth­er. Or, as I am fond of say­ing, this entire Cre­ation is the body of The One, and what we are mov­ing through, and what moves through and around us, is the Life and Love of the One, it is the sacred and lumi­nous Song and Dance of Spirit.

Through­out your life-jour­ney you will go through many realms that chal­lenge you to become more com­plete, to be more whole, to be more the you that is becom­ing, and none is greater than this space-time you enter by Scor­pio. You pre­pare your­self for this by what you learn in the fields of Libra.

In the space of Libra, wher­ev­er that may be in your chart, you learn how to cre­ate ever more social­ly intel­li­gent forms of rela­tion­ship. You are remind­ed that whomev­er is before you is “anoth­er you”, so to be with any oth­er you have only one truth to guide your way: “That you are to be as equal­ly fair to them as you would be for your­self; that you must do unto oth­ers as you would have them do unto you”. But now comes the time of Scor­pio, and the greater chal­lenge and the greater reward is now at hand; now you must utter­ly break your illu­sion of being sep­a­rate and apart from one anoth­er, now you two must become one.

Yes, it is in the realm of Scor­pio that you con­front the great­est illu­sion and expe­ri­ence the truest of Truths: You are here for one anoth­er, you are what you have become because of one anoth­er, and you can­not be or become what you are to be unless you love and join with one another.

You have been formed and informed from your first breath, (and in your turn, you have done like­wise) by all with whom you jour­ney, from Fathers/Mothers, Aunts/Uncles, Sisters/Brothers, Grand­par­ents, friends and strangers too. Your sense and sen­si­bil­i­ties, your thoughts and prin­ci­ples, most of what you call “you”, is the con­se­quence of mov­ing through those spaces, the fields of ener­gy trans­fers with all with whom you trav­el. Their sen­si­bil­i­ties, feel­ings, thoughts and truths became yours, and yours theirs.

But here in the realm of Scor­pio you must con­scious­ly, will­ing­ly and lov­ing­ly find the way to join with one anoth­er in Union. One human being, alone and by itself, is mean­ing­less, impos­si­ble to imag­ine or even be, for we are noth­ing with­out one anoth­er, and could not become human with­out our shared shap­ing and cre­at­ing of one anoth­er. The indi­vid­ual or “I” comes out of the many we or “us”. Though we may believe that “I made me”, it is fun­da­men­tal­ly true that “we made we”, and we made every “I” too.

In the space of Scor­pio, when two (or the many) are joined in com­mon pur­pose and inten­tion, when we each sur­ren­der the less­er with­in us so that we might build upon, expand and trans­form the greater that is with­in and between us, it is then that we tru­ly move clos­er to our true nature, we take anoth­er step in becom­ing full awak­ened humans.

To forge our greater Union, we each con­tribute what we can and give up what we must. We elic­it from one anoth­er the quick­en­ing of our poten­tial­i­ties, mold­ing, trans­form­ing and reveal­ing more of what we are through our com­bi­na­tion with one anoth­er. We move clos­er to one anoth­er, become more one with one anoth­er, and yet we also by this come clos­er to our true self too. We reach out to one anoth­er, only to see the greater truth of who and what we are through one anoth­er. That by draw­ing clos­er to them, by let­ting go of the less­er of us we dis­cov­er our truer self too. Yes, we two become one and yet we are also, each of us, revealed as one of kind too.

Scor­pio is the Realm of Alche­my, it is the space where we let go and grow. In Scor­pio you face the Fear of Rejec­tion and Loss, and you learn to be fear­less. You learn you are not, nor can you ever be alone or lost. Scor­pio is the shin­ing heart of Life-Spir­it-Con­scious­ness; it is the space where we break from the shad­ow, as we dance and play in the Fields of the One.

That is what and who we are…we are Singers, we are Dancers, we are the Cre­ators of one anoth­er and we have just begun to shine.

We have made who we are, and it is by and through one anoth­er that we will make our truer selves revealed.
