The Path­way to Fulfillment

What dri­ves the unfold­ment of the Cos­mos? What force or pow­er beats in your heart and soul, and indeed in the very Heart and Soul of the Uni­verse? Why do we strive to climb high­er, to do bet­ter, to be bet­ter, to reach for the stars?

There is in every mote and par­ti­cle of the Uni­verse, in every crea­ture great and small, a source of Light and Love. It is quite sim­ply and most pro­found­ly the Spark of the Divine. The Mind, Love and Will of the One Spir­it is the Pri­mal Cause of one and all. For this very rea­son, the entire Uni­verse, and every-being, and indeed “every-thing” too is endowed with some form of consciousness…The whole of the Uni­verse is alive and awake, from the small­est of infin­i­tes­i­mals, to atoms and mol­e­cules, to life-forms on up and beyond to the stars. All of it is part of the One Life, the One Mind, the One Spir­it. Quite sim­ply and pro­found­ly all of what is “that” is the One. That is why the whole of Cre­ation is Conscious.

Cre­ation is the jour­ney of Spir­i­tu­al Con­scious­ness through ener­gy-forms that are formed and informed by the Love of the One for one and for all.

Yet, as each spark is of the One, each mon­ad, each and every “one”, is a unique or indi­vid­ual expres­sion of the Divine. Con­tained and formed into that mon­ad is what I call the “Quin­tes­sence” of that par­ti­cle of spir­it, and it is this par­tic­u­lar dew­drop of spir­i­tu­al quin­tes­sence that makes you the very spe­cial one that you are.

Through a series of forms liv­ing in innu­mer­able lives, each spark of the Divine will reach at some point the realm of Self-Aware Con­scious­ness, one of which is our Human King­dom. At this cross­ing point between the dark­ness and the light, the unfold­ment of the Divine poten­tial will become ever more insis­tent, forged through an increas­ing­ly self-deter­mined con­scious­ness, and from this the var­i­ous mor­tal ener­gy-forms and bod­ies will equal­ly become more sub­tle and per­fect­ed vehi­cles for spir­i­tu­al fulfillment.

In the “low­er king­doms” of Life-Spir­it-Con­scious­ness, where the lamp of self-con­scious­ness is unlit, the unfold­ment of spir­i­tu­al poten­tial­i­ties is dri­ven by more uncon­scious and “nat­ur­al” har­monies formed by atom­ic, mol­e­c­u­lar and bio­log­ic cycles and pat­terns. When the light of Self-Aware con­scious­ness becomes awak­ened, the path­way of unfold­ment becomes steep­er, for it is then that the hard-won lift­ing of self is forged through the great chal­lenge of learn­ing by tri­al and error, of learn­ing what to do (and what not to do), so that you bend your life increas­ing­ly to what is true and beau­ti­ful and loving.

Yes, you have crossed a major thresh­old on the path of Spir­it. You have become respon­si­ble for your devel­op­ment. But equal­ly and most impor­tant­ly, for you are made by and for one anoth­er, you are respon­si­ble for the devel­op­ment of one anoth­er too. You could not be human with­out all those fel­low trav­el­ers with whom you journey.

For you and for all your fel­low humans, you will strive through many, many lives to forge a bet­ter you and a bet­ter world for one anoth­er. As you redeem your past, you will forge your present and equal­ly shape your future lives too. All of this is deter­mined by the great Uni­ver­sal Law of Jus­tice, the Law of Kar­ma, of cause and effect. You are all equal under this law which is immutable and impar­tial; each for your­self as you equal­ly serve one anoth­er, you forge the Path to one another’s Self-Ful­fill­ment by the divine law, ”that what­so­ev­er you have sown, so shall you reap”.

This is what we cel­e­brate now in this time of Capri­corn. This is the realm of Des­tiny, and you should bow your head and bend the knee wher­ev­er Capri­corn is found in your chart. It is here that you expe­ri­ence the joy­ful Tests of Respon­si­bil­i­ty; it is here that the truth you encoun­tered in Sagit­tar­ius must be incor­po­rat­ed into the sub­stance of your life.

You are not here mere­ly to dis­cov­er, to pon­der and con­sid­er what is true; You are here to be that Truth, so that it forms your moti­va­tions and inten­tions. Then, by Right Think­ing and Right Action, this “Truth lived as Life” will become the very char­ac­ter of your being and the lumi­nous sub­stance of your destiny.

Here at the Sol­stice of Capri­corn, you pause and con­sid­er the long and wind­ing road that is the “Path­way of Per­fec­tion”. You under­stand that it is the pre­cious “gift of choice” that will lead to your even­tu­al illu­mi­na­tion and apoth­e­o­sis. The innu­mer­able tests, tri­umphs and errors in life after life, both your achieve­ments and your stum­bles, all your cor­rec­tions and attempts to do bet­ter are pre­cise­ly the means by which you learn what not to do as you forge a bet­ter you.

You are respon­si­ble for what you are today; you are what you are because that spark of the divine would not give up, and you shoul­dered the respon­si­bil­i­ty for who you are and what you will become. This is why you are here:

You are here on Earth for self-mastery; 
you are here for Self-Fulfillment;
you are here because you are one of the ones of the One.

It is in Capri­corn that you assume your right­ful place in the great Hier­ar­chy of Com­pas­sion. For none of us would be here with­out the inspi­ra­tion, guid­ance and sup­port of those who ages ago extend­ed their lov­ing sup­port to lift them­selves and one anoth­er up. That Rib­bon of Light and Love, extend­ing back into the mists of time, and equal­ly arch­ing out ahead into the future, is the promise kept by the Keep­ers of the Flame, the Mas­ters of the Light and Love, who show that the way to Self-Ful­fill­ment is for each one us to be a light for one anoth­er too.

It is your duty and priv­i­lege to be part of this great com­pa­ny. With one hand reach­ing upwards to those upon the path ahead of you, and your oth­er hand extend­ed to those who fol­low, you are a pre­cious spark in this nev­er-end­ing sto­ry of Light and Love and Truth.

In this moment of still­ness, when the whole world waits for a sign that the Light of the World will not go out, gath­er togeth­er and hold in your hearts the Great Invo­ca­tion which will be shared through­out tem­ples and hearts on Earth at this time:

THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of light with­in the Mind of God

Let Light stream forth into our minds

Let LIGHT descend on Earth.

From the point of love with­in the Heart of God

Let Love stream forth into our hearts

May LOVE increase on Earth.

From the cen­ter where the Will of God is known

Let pur­pose guide our wills

The PURPOSE which the mas­ters know and serve.

From the cen­ter which we call Humanity

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door

where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Pow­er restore the Plan on Earth

The Beau­ti­ful Necessity

It is quite com­fort­ing, inspi­ra­tional and illu­mi­nat­ing to enjoy the wis­dom of the ages, found in the pro­found gifts of phi­los­o­phy, sci­ence and reli­gion, which have been passed down from time immemo­r­i­al to guide our jour­ney to this very day.

This last year, we enjoyed the dance of Jupiter as it sailed through its own sign of Sagit­tar­ius. You were remind­ed that one of the most impor­tant chal­lenges that you will have on “our jour­ney that is an awak­en­ing” is to con­sid­er how you can bet­ter under­stand your­self and your world.

It is nec­es­sary that we do this, for only if we con­tin­u­al­ly lift our con­scious­ness high­er, only then will we be able to sep­a­rate truth from false­hood, only then will we know what is the good and how we might do bet­ter. Only by this gift of the Wis­dom-Keep­ers and our own efforts to under­stand will we turn away from the shad­ows and join with those who live in love and light.

Jupiter, which has been mov­ing through its own sign of Sagit­tar­ius since Novem­ber of last year, enters the earthy sign of Capri­corn today. The unfold­ment of spir­i­tu­al ener­gy-forms, as revealed by the Signs of Zodi­ac, pro­ceeds in this way so that after the ideals of any Fire sign we will move into the realms of real­i­ty-mak­ing held by Earth.

This is the mes­sage of Jupiter in Capri­corn, and you would be wise to make this part of your prac­tice now. It is not enough to believe in or to mere­ly speak of truth. Your spir­i­tu­al jour­ney is not only of the mind or to be found in your heart. The noble path, the Way of all seek­ers and seers, is to fol­low the Way of Wisdom:

You are here to live by Light; You are here to become this Truth.

To build a world, to live a life, that is found­ed and formed by Liv­ing Truth is the only way for the promise of Light and Love to be made real for one and all. If Jupiter is the Way of Truth, and Capri­corn the realm of Respon­si­bil­i­ty and Self-Ful­fill­ment, then the mes­sage of Jupiter now is that to live by truth is the heart and soul of this entire Cre­ation; and you are here to shoul­der this respon­si­bil­i­ty. Your self-ful­fill­ment is assured because you will real­ize that the truth with­in you is the same truth that sur­rounds you in all the realms and bod­ies that form the cos­mos too.

And you will equal­ly find that you are part of a great Hier­ar­chy of Light and Love, formed by the small­est of infin­i­tes­i­mals on up to the great souls arch­ing over the star­ry fir­ma­ment above. And, most imme­di­ate­ly, here on Earth, you should bow down and give thanks to those who came this way long before you. There is a celes­tial cord of Light-Love-Mean­ing that holds all of Cre­ation as one, and being self-aware now, your duty is to join with those who care for you, as you must care for one anoth­er, and indeed take your place as a guardian for all of Cre­ation too.

Their lov­ing exam­ple, that these great souls and kin­dred spir­its extend­ed (and still main­tain) this lov­ing guid­ance and help­ing hand to you, will stir your heart and you will also turn and extend your help to those that fol­low you, for this is how “the great work” is done. The Love and Truth of the Cre­ator lives on in all of us – it is all of us – and that is why we are for­ev­er guid­ed and shaped by the one abid­ing truth that you and I, and the whole of Cre­ation is this liv­ing Act of Love, formed and sus­tained by our Love for one and all. The one gold­en rule of Right­eous­ness (of right con­duct) is sim­ply this:

We were made togeth­er as one by love; we are here to love and care for one another; 
we are here to love and be loved as the ful­fill­ment of Divine Eter­nal Love.

We embody this fun­da­men­tal truth in the realm of forms that is Capri­corn, by tak­ing what was the first instance of this bind­ing force for us, the instinc­tu­al and spon­ta­neous love of a par­ent for their child, and we formed and nur­tured our lives upon the foun­da­tion of our Fam­i­ly. We extend­ed this love and meet­ing of one another’s needs out into our larg­er Com­mu­ni­ty insti­tu­tions of neigh­bor­hood, town, and region. We stretched our respons­es and respon­si­bil­i­ties to one anoth­er into the largest of these Insti­tu­tion­al embod­i­ments of Car­ing Truths by estab­lish­ing our gov­ern­ing bod­ies of local, state and nation­al gov­er­nance. The laws and norms of these agents and agen­cies, are sim­ply but pro­found­ly the uni­ver­sal­ized for­ma­tions of our love and car­ing for one another.

And so now, in this present era, we have reached a crit­i­cal moment in our jour­ney of awak­en­ing. We have been able to look back upon our world from the fir­ma­ment above, and in see­ing our beau­ti­ful blue home in the dark vast­ness of Space, we under­stand that if we are to take care of one anoth­er and our beau­ti­ful home, we must extend our lov­ing care to one anoth­er through an encom­pass­ing Earth­ly Aware­ness and Holis­tic Action which will seek to pre­serve, pro­tect and pro­mote the well-being for “all crea­tures, great and small”. It is our sacred duty to take good care of our love­ly home and all of the life with­in it.

We are the Mak­er (or beaker) of our world now. Only by car­ing for our pre­cious home, our dear moth­er Earth, will we shoul­der our right­ful respon­si­bil­i­ty for our human fam­i­ly by equal­ly car­ing for the entire and won­drous hier­ar­chy of life that live with us here too. Life begets life; the beau­ty made by the com­plex web and diver­si­ty of life is essen­tial to our well-being too.

If you lis­ten to your heart, you will know the Truth, and you will know that your respon­si­bil­i­ty is as much to one anoth­er as it is to all of life on Earth. We are part of one fam­i­ly; our home is Earth; and all these many lives are one in the One Life of Spirit.

This is the Beau­ti­ful Neces­si­ty, that behind all of Cre­ation is Divine Love.

Your duty, your self-ful­fill­ment is to stand for Life and to live by Love.

This is the embod­i­ment of Jupiter’s Truth now made man­i­fest in the Realm of Real­i­ty, the King­dom of Respon­si­bil­i­ty, in the Realm of Capri­corn where Right Think­ing, and Right Action lead to Beau­ty and Truth.

Jupiter in Capri­corn is where Beau­ty as Truth is made real when each of us acts with Love and Under­stand­ing to cre­ate a Bet­ter World.
