Consciousness

Today we enter the third realm of the Zodi­ac, today we enter the sacred space known as Gem­i­ni. For­ev­er some­where in your chart, and through­out your entire being, and tru­ly ever-present in all the realms and beings of Cre­ation, we hon­or the third prin­ci­ple of Spir­it, the radi­ant Light of Consciousness.

The Sto­ry of Cre­ation is the Jour­ney of the One becom­ing man­i­fest through all the realms and through all of the beings of the Cos­mos. In the cen­ter of each one of the One there is the seed of becom­ing, the mon­ad of the One, the one in all.

All of Cre­ation is Spir­it, and yet all of Cre­ation is formed of Mat­ter too, so that Mat­ter is mere­ly the dens­est form of Spir­it, and Spir­it is the most ethe­re­al form of Mat­ter, and that dur­ing this time of the One made man­i­fest in Cre­ation, all of Cre­ation exists as Spirit-Matter.

But as much as all is Spir­it, and all of Cre­ation is Mat­ter too, we also must under­stand that every par­ti­cle, atom, being, plan­et, star and galaxy, that the all of ones in the entire­ty of Cre­ation are Mind too; all of the Cos­mos is Conscious.

Now, there are many forms and lev­els of con­scious­ness, descend­ing from the super­nal realms of what we would call the first cir­cle of Light and Love, the Lords of Space and Time, down to the Devas or Shin­ing Ones, and con­tin­u­ing down­ward through the king­doms of Cre­ation and into the dens­est yet still con­scious forms of matter.

The Sto­ry of Cre­ation is also this sto­ry of the unfold­ing and expan­sion of con­scious­ness, as fam­i­lies of mon­ads work their way to ever high­er realms of aware­ness. But there is a crit­i­cal moment in the jour­ney of all mon­ads, when the greater light of under­stand­ing is reached, when they from mere aware­ness to self-awareness.

Our cohort of human mon­ads took that next step in that jour­ney of awak­en­ing, long, long ago. There are many ver­sions of this sto­ry, from par­tak­ing of the fruit of the knowl­edge of good and evil, or of the light-bringers in the sto­ries of Prometheus or Lucifer, or the ancient sto­ry of the beau­ti­ful sac­ri­fice of beings known as the Kumaras, whose karmic debt of their enlight­en­ment in a pre­vi­ous age bestowed upon them the hon­or and duty to pass this light to us long ago.

It is a nec­es­sary but bit­ter­sweet gift, for it forces each of us into the expe­ri­ence of sep­a­ra­tion from one anoth­er, from oth­er beings and even from the One. But it is the step all must take to become a ful­ly con­scious co-Cre­ator of Cre­ation. Before we were unaware and inno­cent, and we could only be what we instinc­tive­ly sensed or felt. But through this sep­a­ra­tion, “I am that, not this”, we were forced into form­ing con­scious con­nec­tions between one anoth­er and the world. We were giv­en the gift of Choice, and so we had to learn good from bad, to what is bet­ter and what is worse. We fell into error, and time and time again, we cre­at­ed poor­ly and suf­fered from our lack of understanding.

But over count­less lives we acquired knowl­edge, and over many lives we acquired wis­dom and humil­i­ty, and though we seem to rise and again to fall, our jour­ney of awak­en­ing has been mas­tered by some who light the way for the rest of us. We will become ever more con­scious and aware by shar­ing our under­stand­ings and points of view with one anoth­er, learn­ing from one anoth­er, lov­ing one anoth­er, and choos­ing light over dark­ness, love over fear.

Yes, today, as we enter Gem­i­ni, and for­ev­er some­where in your chart, we should give thanks to those ancient ones who passed the “light of under­stand­ing” to us. This is also part of the teach­ing. That we must remem­ber that we are not one and apart, we are made of and by one anoth­er, by those who came before us and by our fel­low humans now.

We can­not know with­out one anoth­er, because the very nature of self-con­scious­ness depends upon rela­tion­ships, it is formed by our rela­tion­ships with the beings and worlds all around us and most espe­cial­ly in our many rela­tion­ships with our fel­low humans.

The very nature of con­scious­ness is hid­den in that very word. The word “con­scious­ness” means “con” or “Togeth­er” and “scious­ness” or “Know­ing.

Con­scious­ness means “know­ing together”.

So, let us give thanks by doing our part.

Let us lis­ten to one another.

Let us share and shape our greater under­stand­ing for one another.

Let us be a light to one anoth­er, so that we might be the truth that dis­solves all mis­un­der­stand­ings and fears.

May the Light of the One be with you and guide you.
